Powered by 700 watts of heating energy, it quickly prepares meals like bacon, pasta, and beverages. With six preset power levels—including a dedicated defrost function—it adapts to a range of food types and cooking needs. The intuitive mechanical rotary dial allows users to set heating times from 30 seconds up to 30 minutes with a simple turn, eliminating the need for digital interfaces or complex menus. Its sleek black exterior complements modern kitchen aesthetics while maintaining a minimalist design that fits seamlessly on standard countertops.

This microwave is engineered for those who value practicality and ease of use over smart features or oversized capacity. It’s ideal for individuals, small families, or anyone living in tight spaces where every inch counts. The combination of powerful performance, user-friendly controls, and compact form makes it a dependable addition to any household focused on convenience and speed.

Key Features

  • 700-Watt Power Output: Delivers efficient heating for quick preparation of frozen meals, reheating leftovers, and warming beverages in just minutes. The high wattage ensures even heat distribution and reduces waiting time compared to lower-powered models.
  • 6 Power Levels Including Defrost: Offers flexible cooking options tailored to different food types. From low-heat simmering to high-power rapid cooking, the six settings allow precise control. The dedicated defrost mode safely thaws meats, vegetables, and other items evenly, preserving texture and safety.
  • Mechanical Rotary Dial Control: Simplifies operation with an easy-to-use turn-based interface. Users can set cooking times from 30 seconds to 30 minutes without navigating digital screens or touch-sensitive panels. This design appeals to those who prefer straightforward, tactile controls over technology-dependent systems.
  • Compact 0.7 Cubic Foot Capacity: Engineered for small spaces, this microwave fits comfortably on standard countertops without consuming excessive room. It’s perfect for apartments, RVs, breakrooms, or any environment where space is at a premium.
  • Turntable and Glass Plate: Ensures uniform heating by rotating food during operation, minimizing cold spots and promoting consistent results. The removable glass plate is durable, easy to clean, and compatible with most standard cookware.
  • Grip Handle Design: Enhances safety and usability by providing a secure way to lift hot dishes. The handle prevents slips and makes removing containers filled with steam or liquids much easier than models without this feature.

Benefits & Use Cases

Designed for busy lifestyles, this microwave supports common household needs with speed and reliability. Its compact size makes it suitable for environments where full-size microwaves are impractical—such as small kitchens, college dorms, office spaces, or recreational vehicles. The mechanical controls are particularly appealing to users who prefer simplicity over digital complexity, offering an intuitive experience that requires no learning curve.

Whether you’re warming up a single serving of soup, defrosting chicken for dinner, or reheating yesterday’s pizza, this microwave handles the task efficiently. The grip handle adds a layer of safety, especially when dealing with hot containers. The turntable ensures even cooking, reducing the risk of unevenly heated food. For those who appreciate functionality without excess, this model strikes the right balance between performance and practicality.

Its quiet operation and lack of smart connectivity mean fewer distractions during meal prep. Users consistently note that it performs well for its size, delivering reliable results without the bulk of larger units. The black finish gives it a modern look that blends well with contemporary décor, making it both a functional and visually pleasing appliance.

Important Notes

As a countertop-only model, this microwave is not designed for built-in installation. It must be placed on a stable, flat surface with adequate ventilation around the sides and top to prevent overheating during extended use. Avoid placing metal objects or utensils directly onto the interior glass plate, as this can damage the surface or interfere with performance.

No additional accessories—such as extra plates, covers, or cleaning tools—are included with the unit. Users requiring replacement parts or supplementary cookware may need to purchase them separately. Always follow manufacturer guidelines for safe operation and maintenance to ensure longevity and optimal performance.

    Man cave microwave
I got this microwave for my garage when I am out there and want to heat something up. Plus I needed one that was easy to use since my vision is so bad. So this microwave having the turn knob for the timer and the heating level was perfect. Everything on it is built solidly and it works very well.I’ve only used it for a few different things so far, but it’s been more than adequate for everything. I threw a couple rice, bean, cheese burritos in there, and those suckers came out super hot. My Thanksgiving leftovers came out consistently heated all the way through. There was one review that said they were not able to pop microwave popcorn with theirs, mine has no problem whatsoever. With everything I’ve used it for so far, it has easily passed the test.

    Tweak the timer
I got this for my 97 year old mother because the controls were simpler than most microwaves. She didn’t like it, so I gave her mine and kept it for myself. I love it — just twist the dial and it cooks the food, no programming or button pushing required. The one drawback is that it’s difficult to set short cooking times. Like all other “simplified controls” microwaves I investigated, all minutes are the same size on the dial. The first two minutes should be bigger so that it can be set accurately for 10 seconds (softening butter), 20 seconds (refrigerated half can of catfood), etc.Otherwise, I love it. It’s available in 750 watt and 1100 watt versions. The 750 seems to work fine for frozen meals that assume the higher wattage. I have not had to adjust the cooking times for this.

    Solid low tech option
Good microwave with two dials- no buttons or touchpad to break! Perfect for my office. It’s a decent size, has different heat settings, and a turntable.

Love it! 5 major pros, 3 minor cons…
I bought this to replace a button-based model, and here’s what I know after having used this for several months:*Pros1) Quick and easy to set temp and time. My last microwave took anywhere between 5-10 separate button presses to set power level and cook time; if I pressed the wrong thing, I had to clear and do it all over again. This model is just two turns of a dial, at the most, regardless of what temp or time I want.2) Power level can be adjusted without stopping the microwave. In addition to reheating tea and leftovers, I do a lot of legit cooking in this – things like rice, quinoa, polenta, potatoes for mashing. That can call for longer, lower cooking times and I love being able to adjust power level at any time without resetting.3) It’s just one quick pleasant “ding” when done. My old digital microwave had 5 piercing beeps that persisted even if I opened the door on the first beep; if not opened, it beeps again. Personally, I don’t need such a persistent reminder, especially if I happen to be on a call (I work from home, so this happens more often for me now). I often found myself racing to my previous microwave to turn it off right before it was done so I wouldn’t have to hear the super loud beeps.4) It doesn’t slide on the counter since it’s not push-operated. My microwave is not backed by a wall. My previous unit would slide on the counter when I push the buttons to set time or open the door, and I was always a little nervous it would get pushed off the counter. Because this one is turn dials, it doesn’t get pushed and doesn’t slide on the counter. The door opens and closes easily so pushing and pulling on that part is not enough to move the unit. *I’ll add that I have another appliance stacked on top of the microwave which adds a little more weight. But even if I didn’t, I don’t think opening/closing the door would make it slide.5) The door can be left open to air out. This microwave only lights up while it’s running, NOT when the door is open. If I heat something that steams up the inside, I can just leave the door open to air it out so things don’t get humid and stinky in there over time. (see photo)5) My Breville countertop/toaster oven fits perfectly on top. To save space, I wanted a microwave that was just big enough to fit my Breville on top, and this one works perfectly. Most other units I saw on Amazon were much larger than this (more counter space than I wanted to give up), or too small to handle what I need. (see photo)*Cons (very minor)1) I wish I could more reliably set time under 1 minute. Sometimes I just want to warm a biscuit which takes like 7-10 seconds, but the time dial isn’t sensitive enough to accurately set for under 1 minute. In my video, you can see how there’s little resistance on the dial, and the microwave doesn’t turn on until it’s closer to a full minute. Not a deal breaker, I just stand by for those quick heating times. If I turn the dial way up to 2+ minutes then wind down, I can get it to heat at some time under 30 seconds. That’s still useful for things that are less sensitive than bread….like reheating a still-warm drink.2) I wish there were a way to feel when the dial is at one of the whole-minute marks, at least for the first 5 or 10 minutes on the dial, and maybe even for 30 second increments. This would be a great feature especially for folks with any kind of visual impairment since the numbers are small. I’d love this improvement on the power level dial as well – to feel the dial click into place for each of the main power level settings.3) This microwave does not have a digital display, so it won’t be a clock or timer. NBD for me, but wanted to mention in case it matters to some of you.*OverallI like this 2-dial microwave leaps and bounds over any of the button-push models I’ve ever owned, and am not going back to a push-button style any time soon.

    falling apart
I thought this simple little oven would be perfect since I use it once or twice a week for only a few minutes. The oven has developed a hot spot in only a few weeks and it is getting worse. Put in a muffin and it will be crispy all the way through in one place and still frozen in another. The oven now just stops working. If I reset it it will run again but what is going on? The timer has begun to just stop and not ring. It is impossible to set this oven for a minute or seconds, the dial just does not offer that. Big waste of money I cannot return it after a whole 4 months of use either. DON”T BUY ONE!

So easy to use. place food, twist one or two dials, close door = Cooking. However:
This replaces a smaller microwave cooker that was 35 years old!. They new one has 400 more watts and a slightly larger internal capacity. However, with the old one, the light was on when the door was open. Now it is on only when the unit is cooking. The previous unit had 5 stops for cooling level. This one is continuous but is not easy to see the location of the indicator as it is black-on-black. I placed a spot of white paint on the dial to see where it is.For older, or wet, hands it is a challenge to turn the knobs as they are totally smooth. I pulled off the old knobs and attached better ones. The timer is a simple twist. None of this keypad press, press, press, press, press, press, press, press, press to set cooking time/power levels. If you are stuck with a digital unit, have you ever pressed the 4, 7 , 8, or 9 for a setting? NOTHING in cooking needs that level of precision. The door is improved over the previous one. With this, an open door does not make the footprint wider as the other one did (by about 1/2″) Now, being up against the refrigerator, I do not have to provide that 1/2″ gap on the side to allow for the open door. The approximately $100 price is very appreciated. The original cost $79 back in 1989.
