Like The Square Design, Lids Fit Securely
Finding a glass storage jar shouldnât be too big of a challenge, or so youâd think. This is the second or third time weâve purchased jars like this, but this time weâll actually be keeping them. The problem with some of some containers that weâve had in the past is the lid design. If the lid is a basic design they will easily fall inside the glass container, especially if the lid has a very âshallowâ lip. Thankfully this container does not have that problem. The wider lip on the edge of the lids along with a decent size silicone gasket seal ensures the lids donât randomly fall inside the container.These jars are what I would call a âmid-sizeâ container. They are not big enough to store larger things like the contents of a cereal box (or bag) â at least not for any normal size. It would also be difficult to fit anything but the smallest boxes of pasta in a container like this. However, once some of the pasta or whatever is used they are a good size to hold the leftovers.In our situation we are using it to store what remains of the bulk popcorn , giving us back some much needed pantry space. Same with our sugar cubes and some leftover wrapped holiday candies. The square design ensures maximum use of space within the pantry, which is important for us.The design is nice enough that I can easily see these moving out to the countertop in the future for storing things like our half-remaining bags of whole coffee beans or leftover sugar which is currently being stored in plastic storage containers.The only small thing I am not crazy about is how thin the glass is. It is good enough to do the job and hand and will not break if some care is taken, but it is notably thinner than much of our glass storage containers we are currently using. A little less care when washing them or putting them in a dishwasher (the base only, not the lids) and I can see them breaking more easily than some other containers we have.A fair price for a decent product.

Love these jars
I agree with others that despite them showing you the jars compared to a can of coke, they are just a bit smaller than I thought. However I love them. They are quite beautiful and functional. I have the, one step larger coming tomorrow. So my pantry will be complete.

Nice for loose-leaf tea but feels fragile
I got these to use for custom loose-leaf tea blends. I like the look and the square shape. The lids fit well. The glass itself feels thinner than I was expecting and seems fragile, so I would not use these in a space where kids would access them for anything. These will not hold up to being knocked around or daily-use type of situations. I would not use these for lunches or putting inside other containers like bags. Not for meal prep or salads!The bamboo lids on mine are smooth with no splinters and I did not notice any bubbles in the glass. Note that these are pretty small. I laughed when I saw “flour” and “cereal” as some of the pre-printed labels – that is not even one bread loaf worth of flour. They are perfect for tea and other smaller things and they look great on the counter or open pantry shelves. Just be aware that you will need to be careful with them.

Nice Glass Containers for Smaller Storage
Updated:The seller reached out to me almost immediately and found a resolution to the problem with my containers. The new set was in much better condition, the lids were uniform all around and the glass did not have any bubbles in it. The only issue was some of the corners still were rough but I sanded them with a 400 grit piece of sand paper very lightly and it seemed to take care of most of it. Hopefully this did not ruin any finish on the lids. These containers are great for storing smaller snacks, they fit a stack of crackers or a sleeve of fig newtons really well, plus they are perfect for snacks like yogurt melts.Original Review:I bought these because I wanted to be able to store my son’s snacks in glass containers instead of plastic, and I loved the look of them. Unfortunately, as much as I wanted to love these I just don’t. First of all, the lid is not sanded well on the edge. When I was putting the lids on these I got a splinter right away and noticed on all 4 lids that they are rough and poorly sanded. Then the lid’s lip is not uniform. On one side the lid hangs over the edge of the glass and on some sides, the glass extends out further. Some of the jars had bubbles in the glass and others didn’t. Overall, I love the size and style of these containers but the quality just isn’t there for it to be something I would repurchase or recommend.

Great quality for the price
When I received these, I wasn’t expecting the quality to be of the highest standard. The box arrived and they are very well packaged and even just at first glance, very well made. Although they were a tiny bit shorter than I had hoped, they are still of a great size for something like cat treats, coffee or even tea bags. They could have many uses including bathroom toiletries.The glass is not thin although like all glass, could easily break. The suction from the silicone on the lid was substantial and will keep things well insulated and pretty air tight. I was surprised on how well the lids held on. It changed my mind for the needs I had.You also get a nice assortment of stickers that you cut to size with items like coffee, rice, etc on them to make for nice organization. You also get chalk stickers and a pencil to write on them as well. All of these were unexpected inside the package.I’d definitely say you are getting a nice set for the price and of great quality. Just be mindful of the dimensions before purchase just in case you are needing a larger set.They are as pictured which is why I didn’t bother giving my photo. This is well represented on the look and color of the lids.
