These are fantastic!
I loved the sizes that this 7 piece came in. They had no smell at all. They have an airtight seal which does come apart easily for cleaning. They are very durable. They are clear and shiny. I highly recommend. Excellent value for the money. Nice clean organization.

Good alternative to OXO
I bought the OXO Pop set, first. That set was very expensive, and I’m not sure it was worth the cost (but then again, I’ve only had it a week longer than this set, so I can’t compare the longevity of the two). The OXO plastic is probably 1.5-2x as thick as the plastic of this set, but it scratched a little when I washed it with my dish brush (so I now only use a soft sponge to wash it, and did the same when I got this set). The lids on the OXO look sleeker and better quality, and the “pop” feature sounds cool but unless you’re always trying to open the containers one-handed, it’s not necessary. The OXO ones, while airtight, don’t seem to seal and be as airtight as these ones. I put one star for the leak proof because these, like the OXO, are designed for dry foods, and should never be used to store wet foods. I imagine the clear plastic part would be leak-proof, but that’s not what they’re designed for, and it’s probably not food safe to put wet foods in #6 plastic. As far as cleaning, these are very easy to clean if you follow the instructions. I definitely would steer clear off the dishwasher, or any sort of super hot or abrasive cleaners, as this type of plastic would likely warp, etch, scratch, or cloud (since even my thicker plastic OXO set got fine scratches the one time I used my dish brush to wash them). The instructions tell you how to take the lid apart to clean them. If you don’t take them apart, you will end up with water (and maybe even dirt) stuck inside the lid, which will likely cause mold issues and cause the tension spring inside to rust, so take them apart and clean them properly and dry thoroughly before putting back together. These are smaller than the OXO nine piece set I got, but I actually like it because I can use my OXO set for stuff like full boxes of cereal, etc, and I can use this set for smaller volumes of stuff (and it fits easier in my teeny tiny apartment pantry, whereas the OXO ones sit on top of the refrigerator). If choosing between the $70+ OXO nine piece set and this $25 seven piece set, I’d go with this set all day (though I will still keep the OXO set because I like it and don’t feel like returning it).

I bought a couple of these 2 organize my cupboards. They are a great value 4 the money! Nice 2 open your cupboards & see nice organized food products & not ugly boxes! So I bought some 4 my girls 4 Xmas.

Works just as advertised, but caveat emptor
The tallest canister comfortably holds two entire boxes of no-boil lasagna noodles, which is great. What’s not so great is how not impact-resistant they are, particularly when empty. I accidentally knocked into one of the small size when it was empty with its lid on, and the impact to the floor smashed the entire side of the canister from top to bottom. Disappointingly brittle, but otherwise fine for storage.

Excellent Air Tight Storage
Love the variety of sizes in this set. The lids are easy to use and create a solid air tight fit. Great for spices, tea, nuts, etc. Had a small issue with one container and reached out to customer service. They were very responsive and accommodating. Would definitely buy again.

Very Small Containers
These are very small containers, except for the spaghetti holder. That will hold 3 to 4 pounds of spaghetti.The 2 larger looking containers won’t hold more than a pound of flour or rice. . Really, even if using both they wouldn’t come close to holding a standard size bag of flour. The smallest container might just hold a 12 oz bag of chocolate chips. No way will these containers come close to holding a 3 oz bag of chips, box of crackers, box of cereal, or a family pack of cookies. They lids are air tight. They are thick chunky lids. . When washing the lids water gets trapped inside and it’s necessary to shake the water out and dry the lids. The way the lids are designed to fit into the container makes them definitely airtight despite the water issue. The lids have a fold down pull tab. The pull tabs make opening the lids very easy. They look attractive. Attractive labels and a pen are included. They are just too small to be practical. I think they are overpriced. I decided to keep them, but I wouldn’t recommend unless looking for small containers.I wasn’t just buying them for looks. We have pantry moths, so I’m putting everything in air tight containers. I’m thankful I found where they were breeding….in some grits I had in a container that wasn’t air tight. I lifted the lid and there were a bunch of them. I slapped that lid back on and took the container out to the garbage. That got rid of most of them, but I see a few flying around.I also purchased some quart size plastic food containers. Those aren’t very big either, but come come in a pack of 24. for 12.99 as of this review…but Amazon’s prices are subject to change. 24 is plenty for me to store everything I need to. Those are airtight, clear, and durable plastic. These are much sturdier deli container than most found in supermarket deli counters. They may be a good choice for anyone looking for practical and inexpensive. containers to store food.

The large pop up seal handles are great for people with pain in their hands. Though i can’t say i would do long term storage with these, for things like grains or drink powders that are used regularly they are great. I keep dry fruit, oatmeal, rice and such in mine. The different sizes are perfect for various things.

Unlike some other brands Iâve tried, these ones have a good seal and donât feel like the lidâs spring mechanism is going to break after a few months. Was pleased to find out that a bunch of re-useable black chalkboard labels and a white pen were included, as well as a whole stack of pre-printed spice jar labels!
