Aesthetically pleasing
I love this whole set. Knives are sharp and durable, just take out the box and place in preslotted spaces. Cuts anything from meats and breads to fruits and pizza. With a clear acrylic stand that’s trimmed in black and silver, goes with most kitchen decor. Very good grip on handles, dishwasher safe and it comes with a sharpener. Really great product for the price.

I was hesitant to buy these Lucentee knives as I am not familiar with this brand. I’m quite loyal to my Ginsu and Cutco knives. I bought this set for my elderly mother. She’s been using dull knives and it was just a matter of time before she cut herself. So i took a chance and got these. The first test I always do with knives is to cut paper with them. I don’t know if this is the correct way to test sharpness, but it works for me. I started with the Santoku. This is my go-to knife for almost everything in the kitchen except for bones, bread and paring. This knife cut through paper and a cardboard box. I tested the others, same results. These knives come out of the box sharp enough to cut your hand easily. They are not heavy or light, seem just right for general everyday cooking. The knives are made of two pieces, not like the usual lower-end knives that split at the handle. Because they are two pieces, I would not put them in the dishwasher often. But I guess at this price, replacing one every now and again wouldn’t break the bank. Each knife comes with a solid, matching cover and a very well made, handy two-step sharpener. It has one section for coarse and the other for fine sharpening. I tested the sharpener also. Again, I chose the Santoku to test on. Wow! It got even sharper. With the level of sharpness these knives can get to, I would suggest hand washing and drying. I always swipe in one direction, away from my hand. I would also keep them in the covers to avoid injury and dulling from the metal clinking together in a drawer. I would highly recommend these as a decent first set of everyday knives, or an extra set to have on hand in case something happens with one of your favorite knives. Speaking of favorites, the paring and the Santoku are mine. These knifes look really nice but be careful because there very sharp. It even comes with a knife sharpener but Iâve had this for about 6 months and do not yet need to sharpen. I really love this set

Sharp, sharp knives!
Be very careful when unpacking these knives, I barely grazed a steak knife pulling the wrapper off and it got me good. Even though I cut myself a little, I took that as a great sign that these knives will do the trick. They are incredibly quality for the price, and I appreciate the included sharpener and peeler/grater.My only complaint is the large knife block. It is so big and I donât have much counter-space. I ended up purchasing a magnetic bar to put the knives on the wall. I will keep the block wrapped in the box and store for now in case I move to a larger place one day.

These knives are exactly as expected, gorgeous and wonderful quality! I was a little scared with all the people saying they were short a knife or two but they were all included with my order. Also shipping was fast as well, just as stated. Couldnât be happier, been wanting these for a little while.

I got this set to replace some very dull knives. I’m happy with these knives. They are sharp and look lovely, and they save space, too.
The frame is nice but you will need a box spring because the metal underneath the frame keep falling out –
