Designed for easy installation, this bi-fold door system includes all necessary components to convert an existing doorway into a modern, farmhouse-inspired entrance. Ideal for small spaces such as bathrooms, closets, or narrow hallways, the bi-fold design maximizes open area while reducing floor obstruction. Crafted from solid knotty pine wood, each door features natural grain patterns that ensure uniqueness across units. With its pre-finished colonial maple stain and included hardware kit, this product provides both aesthetic appeal and practical functionality in one complete package.
Key Features
- Solid Knotty Pine Construction: Made from 100% natural wood, the door pieces feature authentic knot patterns that add character and individuality to every installation. The material is fully finished using a fade-resistant, multi-step stain and seal process for long-lasting color and protection.
- Colonial Maple Finish: The door receives a single-side design with double-sided color matching and finishing, ensuring a uniform appearance on both sides when assembled. This creates a professional look suitable for visible interior spaces.
- Intelligent Engineering: Each board is crafted with a tongue and groove profile, allowing for precise alignment and secure assembly. Pre-drilled holes facilitate easy connection between panels, resulting in a tight, stable fit without requiring additional tools or adjustments.
- Complete Sliding Hardware Kit: The included hardware is constructed from durable, corrosion-resistant materials designed to support smooth operation over time. It contains all essential parts needed to mount and operate the bi-fold mechanism effectively.
- Space-Saving Bi-Fold Design: Unlike traditional swing or full-slide doors, the bi-fold configuration folds inward when opened, saving up to 50% of floor space. This makes it especially beneficial for rooms with limited clearance or tight layouts.
- Farmhouse Chic Aesthetic: The colonial maple stain complements a variety of interior styles, adding warmth and visual interest as a central feature in any room.

Benefits & Use Cases
This bi-fold barn door system is particularly well-suited for homeowners seeking to maximize usable space in areas where a swinging door would be impractical. Its compact folding motion allows it to slide into itself rather than extending into walkways or other living zones, making it ideal for narrow hallways, small bathrooms, bedroom closets, or kitchen entries. The colonial maple stain gives the door a timeless, rustic-chic look that blends seamlessly with farmhouse decor, country homes, or transitional interior designs. Because the wood is fully sealed and stained before shipping, there is no need for on-site painting or finishing—just assemble and install. The included hardware ensures reliable performance, though actual ease of installation may depend on individual skill level and existing doorway preparation.
Important Notes
While the product comes with comprehensive instructions and all necessary hardware, some users have reported challenges with clarity in assembly guidance, potential wood damage during transit, and variability in board dimensions. Additionally, certain customers have expressed dissatisfaction with the precision of pre-drilled holes, which may require minor adjustments during setup. Due to the nature of natural wood, slight variations in grain and knotting are expected and considered part of the product’s unique character. Customers should verify that their doorway width accommodates the total span of both folded panels plus any required track clearance before purchase. Contents may differ slightly depending on the selected size or model variant.

Defective and crooked
I just received the door and upon opening the box I found some panels that are completely crooked just like in the photo. It is going to be impossible to put this door together no matter what I do.. bad experienceUpdates. I received a replacement door. Itâs not any better than the first one. Too many cracks. Too many unnecessary holes and all the panels are different sizes. I built a beautiful frame for it but the doors material is really bad.

Wood was warped, poor quality
The hardware was good in the kit but the wood slats were warped. Very difficult to put together with wood that isnât straight. Also the directions were wrong for the wood pieces and so it took a lot of time to figure out. The screws will not work in drywallâyou will need to have a stud if you want to hang this door. In the directions, the drill bits are all in mm and not in inches so good luck finding the exact bits. There are no predrilled holes in the main panels so fitting it exactly together was near impossible. Not a good buy.

Fragile but nice
Using this for a very small behind the door pantry. This was the perfect small size for the job. It looks great and came with all the pieces. My only complaint is that it knicked very easy. Lost a sizeable chunk while putting it together. It didn’t take much to to ding it. A little stain hid the dent, but still didn’t think it should have broken so easily. For its purposes, and because it is tucked away in the laundry room, I just restained and won’t worry about it.

Really nice.
Iâm so happy with these doors! It did take a little bit of elbow grease to build them. One of the boards was a little warped so it took some brain power and strength to make the other planks work but the end result is really beautiful!! Definitely recommend this product!

Quality
Horrible instructions and poor quality. Put it together after 3 hours and looks like garbage. Debating to send it back but now have holes in my wall from hanging the rail system up. I paid $235 for it and now I see that the price has gone up to $508. I wouldnât pay a $1 for this junk.

Terrible directions
The diagram and directions provided suck!My husband is a carpenter, and he struggled. Instructions were unclear and lacked correct measurements.Hardware provided was good quality. However for the price I feel like this is cheaply made and kind of labor intensive. Had to build the door from provided materials with lousy directions.

Quality is subpar
I’ll echo what everyone else has said. The door portion didn’t come with any instructions. Lay it all out to make sure you get the fit you’re expecting. Only 3 boards came with finished sides so one board will be exposed with a slit meant for another piece. Not sure if this was normal or a quality control thing. Speaking of quality control, I get the door is the way it is to be light but I’ll have some touch up to do once it’s up. One small chuck broke off. Luckily I can fix this with some wood glue and marching stain. Doesn’t seem horrible for what it is but with just a little effort it could have been better.

Not a good value
Item arrived damaged. There were also two pieces that were incorrect. I really like the door so I contacted the manufacturer who sent me the correct pieces supposedly. One of them was cracked, one of them was correct and the other piece was not the right width. Therefore the cross pieces on one of the doors would have had to have all been cut and painted to match. They sent me an extra piece and that was the one that was cracked so that may have been just to fill the box. I returned the whole thing. For that kind of money I’m not going to make major adjustments and repainting to match. If I wanted to do that I would make my own which is I think but I’ll end up doing. I really like the doors and the way they look but there was just too much inconsistency. The seller was absolutely amazing and jumped right on sending me the correct pieces. Unfortunately they were not all the correct pieces.
