Key Features
- Warm White LED Illumination: The soft, yellowish-white glow creates a cozy and inviting atmosphere, ideal for decorative outdoor lighting. Unlike harsh white LEDs, this warm tone enhances aesthetics without attracting insects, making it suitable for evening gatherings or peaceful nighttime ambiance.

This flexibility allows you to balance visibility, safety, and energy efficiency based on your needs.
- Solar-Powered Operation: Equipped with a high-efficiency solar panel, each light charges during daylight hours using direct sunlight. No batteries or electrical outlets required—just place in a sunny spot and let nature power your lighting. This reduces long-term energy costs and supports eco-friendly living.
- Weather-Resistant & Waterproof Design: Built to withstand rain, snow, wind, and temperature fluctuations, these lights are fully waterproof and durable enough for year-round outdoor use. Their robust construction ensures consistent performance in various climates.
- Easy Installation with Flexible Mounting Options: No wiring needed. Benefits & Use Cases
These solar fence lights are engineered to enhance both safety and aesthetics across a wide range of outdoor settings. In Motion Activated mode, they improve security by illuminating entryways, pathways, or dark corners only when someone approaches—deters intruders while conserving energy. The Constant On setting ensures consistent visibility along garden paths, around pool areas, or near garage entrances, providing reliable illumination throughout the night. Smart Brightness mode intelligently adjusts light output to maintain brightness while maximizing battery life, extending usage between charges.
Perfect for fences, barriers, garden walls, railings, deck boards, stair treads, and boardwalks, these lights offer versatile placement options. Their compact design blends seamlessly into landscaping without overwhelming the space. The warm white glow adds a welcoming touch to patios, backyards, and walkways, creating an inviting environment for evening relaxation or entertaining.
Important Notes for Optimal Performance
To ensure maximum effectiveness, position each light in a location that receives direct sunlight for at least 6–8 hours daily. Fully expose the solar panel to unobstructed sunlight—avoid placing under dense foliage, overhangs, or in shaded areas. Keep the light switch in the “on” position during daylight hours to enable proper charging. Failure to do so may result in reduced runtime or incomplete charging.
Be mindful of nearby bright artificial lights such as street lamps or porch fixtures. These can interfere with the built-in light sensor, preventing automatic activation at night. Install the lights at least 10–15 feet away from strong external light sources to avoid false triggers or delayed response.
In regions with frequent cloudy days, winter conditions, or limited sunlight, solar panels may not charge sufficiently. As a result, the lights may appear dimmer or operate for shorter durations. To compensate, reposition lights closer to windows or south-facing areas (in the Northern Hemisphere) where possible.
For long-term durability—especially in high-wind or rainy environments—use secure mounting methods like screws or metal brackets instead of relying solely on adhesive tape. While double-sided tape is convenient and ideal for temporary installations, it typically loses effectiveness after 1–2 years of outdoor exposure due to UV degradation and moisture. Reapplying tape annually helps maintain stability.
Customer Tips & Best Practices
Before first use, allow the lights to charge fully for 8 hours in direct sunlight. This initial charge ensures optimal battery performance and extended lifespan. After installation, test each unit to confirm the selected mode functions correctly. If motion activation feels inconsistent, check for obstructions blocking the motion sensor and ensure no reflective surfaces are causing false triggers.
Clean the solar panel periodically with a damp cloth to remove dust, dirt, or bird droppings that may block sunlight absorption. Avoid using abrasive cleaners that could scratch the surface. During prolonged periods of low sunlight, consider rotating lights to different sunny locations to maintain consistent power levels.
These lights are not designed for underwater use or immersion, despite being waterproof. They are rated for rain and wet conditions but should remain above ground level.

See the light
Great little lights. Really bright lights I use around my property so I don’t have to have a flashlight. I use them in motion sensor mode. I wish they stayed on a few more seconds but, that’s not really a big deal. They work great, easy to install and great value for the money.

Solar Motion Lights Outdoor
This Solar Motion Lights Outdoor is working great. It is bright enough for my pathway. I put it in the sensor mode, as long as object pass through, it light up for about 10 seconds. Hope it can be adjusted so to light up longer.

Very bright!
I would say that these solar powered lights are perfect for any area of your house that isn’t covered by normal lighting or to be used as security lighting even if the power is out! Just one of these is sufficient to light up a driveway.

no good
don’t really hold much charge. doesn’t last through the night. I found when the solar panels are Shiney like glass, it reflects the sun away. My lights that have mat finish solar panels last for years. These were like throwing money away.

Bright and they work with very little sunlight!
They are very bright and they work all night long when set on motion detection. We installed the stair light lower so it doesnât blind our dogs. When placed higher up they provide plenty of light in the yard and motion detection works from farther away.Con: A family member used the enclosed stickers to attach them to vinyl siding and they will not come off! Iâm not sure how to remove them without destroying the siding! I used command strips for the two deck posts and it was the ideal solution. As far as I can tell, they do not have replaceable batteries so they could last a year and a half or maybe two years. Hoping longer. We are happy with them regardless of how long they last.

When I tested these indoors, I wasnât that impressed, but outside at night, they provide good illumination of a dark path. All three modes work as stated, but for my needs, only mode 3, off unless movement detected, is useful. The solar panels are not far from vertical, but as I use the lamps in the mode where they are off most of the time, they seem to gather enough charge from an unobstructed east-facing sky, where they get good sunshine in the mornings. These are compact enough that you could use the two-keyhole mounting on screws inserted in to a 4â wooden fence post if desired, theyâd overhang a little each side, but that usually wonât matter. They even supply paper mounting templates so you can accurately fix the screws, along with suitable screws and wall plugs (if needed). An alternative mounting method is to use the also supplied double-sided sticky pads, which measure 7 x 7 cm, quite generous. For testing, I have been using 20cm lengths of fence wire, with hook shapes on each end and bent it into a semi-circle, so I could hang the lights up.One aspect of their case design is that the keyholes are open inside the case, so rain can get in if it runs down the post. Fortunately, they have thought of this by providing 3 holes at the lower edge to let it drain out instead of build-up. Mine have been outside throughout a very wet April – and all three still work well, despite my unorthodox, and not recommended, mountings, which have left the keyholes even more exposed to the rain than they would be if fitted properly. My initial rating was going to be 4 stars, but I cannot really fault them after 3 weeks use. Only time will tell if theyâll continue to work well through winter and into next summer.

Bought a six pack of these a days ago arrived today. About the size of an iphone 8 or can of cola. So not big. But a surprising solid light when set to always on after dark. The motion detection is “ok” and probably not amazing. But if you want solid decent light from sundown for apx 6 hours and still going. And that is with a half days charge end of summer (at best). And assuming that drops over time as batteries diminish/degrade over time like anything… This is a good buy. All of them worked out of the box despite POOR PRIME PACKAGING. The click button to change settings is behind a rubber gland for waterproofing, so you have to be sure you press the right setting.I’m pretty sure most of the complaints on here are wrong, the rubber gland can make it hard to know what you’ve set. As such put your hand over the sensor or solar panel to figure it out. Pro tip. You’re welcome. Stop returning perfectly good items…

I have fitted two of these above our garage doors, where because of the layout of the house it is extremely dark once nightfall arrives. I have set them so that they are on at 30% when dusk arrives all night but then activated by movement so that they are at full brightness for 20 secs. They work fine and very easy to fit, I added an extra screw above the units so they can not be removed without a screwdriver to hand. The one irritation I had was screwing these in place onto a wooden panel, as the screws supplied were rubbish, They will work well enough with the raw plugs that come with then but they are not great screws. The other minor issue with this type of integrated design is you really need to think about where you put them as the solar panel needs to (in a perfect world) point south and that will limit there use.I am happy though they were supplied free under the Vine Programme and have been extremely useful and seem to work fine, they seem nice little units. I was just slightly annoyed I had to grovel about to find better screws so I have knocked off one star (maybe a bit harsh).

Stuck these to my fence posts in the hopes of Ambient light just to make my borders glow a little at night. And despite only having a couple of hours of charging in dim sunlight before I fitted them they worked exceptionally well & in there normal “dimmed” mode they achieve just that, with the added bonus of detecting motion and increasing light enough that even one of the lights can effectively light up half my garden, my old wired security light has been made redundant.Lifespan is a question mark but hopefully being left there and not played with they’ll last a good while, time will tell.Actually think I’ll buy another set to stick elsewhere, plus have a spare or two.
