Great product
I recently broke the old cot for my girlfriendâs dog as it did not do well in sand while cold. This one is easy, fast to set up, and tensioned with leverage.I like the rainfly, just wish it had another for actual rain/sun protection. The attachments from the fly itself to the cot are awesome, but the poles to cot feed through design definitely needs work. The pole fly out too easily during assembly making it a slight challenge.The cotâs fabric is durable and breathable (our 55lb dog jumps onto it and Iâve laid on it with my 225lb) I just donât like the middle fabric ribbon or I at least definitely donât like that itâs not centered (I know, it canât be centered due to leg placement).Overall, even with the quirks, very satisfied with my purchase.

Awesome and perfect for travel ball
We have four dogs, and usually bring one to tournaments. This bed sets up in a flash, collapses down just as easily (pro tip: you donât have to take the canopy off the poles!), and keeps my dog shaded and comfortable. The canopy even stands up to pop fly balls! If you have kids, they will also love it, and may try to kick the dogs out to lay in the shade.

Low to the ground so small short legged dogs can get on
When I initially purchased the CANINE CANYON XL Elevated Dog Bed with Removable Canopy, I was impressed by its design and functionality. The elevated platform provided a comfortable resting spot for my 3 small dogs, and the removable canopy offered added protection from the sun.However, after just three uses, I encountered an issue with the bungee cords that hold the legs pieces together when taking apart. The bungees run along grooves in the legs in which they will fall out of and you have to put them back in to slide them together. Another one completely got stretched out and would not go back in so I had no choice but to cut it. You can still use the legs just be aware you may have to deal with the bungee issues as there are 3 legs and 2 of the 3 have failed bungees.Despite this setback, the bed itself remains functional, and my dogs still enjoys using it. However, the broken bungees are a concern, especially considering the relatively short period of use.

Great! But it can’t withstand the NM sun!
This looked great out of the box! However, living in the Land of Enchantment, it sometimes feels like we’re 10′ from the sun. While we do have trees for shade, I thought my fur posse might enjoy this. If you’re looking to this to provide shade, you are better off putting up an umbrella/tarp. It only provides shade at certain times of the day and even at that, it doesn’t provide full coverage (generally, it’s around the edges). In other words, the tent portion is useless.It was very easy to put together (who needs directions right?!). Unfortunately, within two weeks, it faded quite a bit. The first week, we were still in the 80’s to low 90’s. By the second week, it hit the triple digits. This made me worry about what would happen to it over the next couple of months and if the fabric could withstand the sun and heat before totally disintegrating. Also, my pups preferred the cool landscaping under the trees over the cot . For these reasons, I opted to return it.*It goes without saying, but I’ll say it, my fur posse is NOT left out in the summer heat (short of quick potty trips)!!! However, they do enjoy the yard in the early morning hours and late evenings.Photos: Shows underside after two weeks in the sun, then the top. Dog loved it!!
We took our 14-year-old, 64lb lab camping for the first time and wanted her to be off the ground and have some shade if needed. We didn’t use the shade but she absolutely loved the bed. She just knew it was her spot to lay, and she cozied up on it next to the fire. Easy to set up and made from a thick canvas that I feel will last. This is not going to be an every day bed, only when we camp. Very pleased with this purchase!

Easy to assemble
Our boxer loves this bed. The size is perfect. The quality of the bed is excellent. The value is well worth the cost. We did add a nice soft bed for him to lay on as well.

It’s junk
Don’t waste your money, this product breaks apart while my dog is lying on it. If he moves around a little while he’s on it the next thing you see is your dog basically on the floor because it doesn’t lock in place very well. Dog lost interest of this product due to the cheap plastic materials that are very loose sliders that are suppose to keep it open and your pet off the ground. I posted a picture of what it looks like the first day we set it up for him but after several collapses we are now ready to trash it! Not a happy customer and I do not recommend.

Awesome outdoor bed
My pup is about 40 pounds and loves her new outdoor bed. It was a bit complicated to put together at first because I accidentally threw away the paper but I realized the information was on the tag as well. Itâs easy to pack up and is light enough to carry around.
