Looks Good, Iffy Install, Moderate Confidence
In the end, this fan/chandelier combo looks great and functions mostly as expected. Most of the install was smooth, but the light fixture was pretty ornery. You’ll need kid-sized hands to get the bulbs in. Be very careful with the plugs for the light fixture connecting wires. The connectors can pop off easily and there is not much space for fingers in-between the fan and the light when attaching.It runs quietly and looks prestigious to a dirtbag gutter-punk like me.I’ve installed dozens of fans and this one is the first where the base will rotate clockwise when turning on and counter when turning off(see video). I don’t think it’s supposed to do that, but I know I didn’t do anything wrong with the install.It also seems like I have to power the fan off and then to the desired speed to get it where I want. I can’t have it on 5 and then just hit 1 to lower it, it has to be 5-off-1.It sounds like a lot, but all-in-all, I am pleased with this purchase.

Tedious and extremely poor engineering
Iâm here to tell you, and you need to read my review because it is very important for something that is as expensive as this ceiling fan. I seriously want to warn anyone who is considering purchasing this fan or has already purchased it to not attempt to put it together on your own. This is a major project and not something that is not so simple as a regular ceiling fan to put together and hang. The instructions arrived inside the box, but they were in a pocket that was showing that something that appeared to be more of a coupon or some kind of special offer so I never open that because I was not interested in it. But thatâs where the instructions were. And it only gets better from there. There are three bundles of crystals and a small package of clips and hangers to install the crystals inside the one piece that is for the crystals. There are three layers of crystals, so somewhere in the neighborhood of about 30 crystals. It took me a little bit to figure out how to get the wire hangers onto the crystals, and then the hangers that attach the crystals to the rim of the chandelier. They looked like tiny little key clips, the ones where are you raise up one end and slide the key around. These are so tiny and delicate. Once you get them, threaded through the holes, they are somewhat been out of shape, and will not hold their position. The holes that they are supposed to thread through on the chandelier. Rim are fairly small, and not easy to thread these clips into. When I realize that I was installing these upside down, because the instructions were somewhat vague, I turned it over and at least three or four crystals fill out. So I put those back and turn it back over again to do some more, and some more crystals fell out. Every time I began to turn it over to put the crystals back in more crystals kept falling out as the hangers were really poor quality. I spent over two hours before I finally got so frustrated that I gave up. I donât understand how anybody can sell a product that is so poorly designed and put together and of course they want you to do the majority of the legwork of putting it together. So unless you were going to hire this thing professionally put together and then install that is the only way to have it for almost $200. It was not worth it for me. Iâm a pretty good handyman, but I follow instructions because thatâs how I do things properly. These instructions were not only hidden to a certain degree, but they were such poor quality that it really didnât help anything as far as clarifying certain things as far as putting the whole thing together. This is not the product that it appears to be in pictures.

Not enough light
The fan is beautiful to look at, but the bottom part of the fan holds only 2 bulbs. They are hard to find. Lowes & Home Depot doesn’t sell them. We have to turn on every light in the dining room on & still can’t see what we are eating.
