I Love This Light
I hated the ugliness of a motion sensor night but it was needed. This one is so beautiful and to have the option of a low light dusk to dawn. Itâs amazing!!! Settings are easy and not on the bottom where you canât use them. 10 Stars

Excellent lights for the price point
I replaced some old fixtures on the front of my home with these lights because I wanted some down pointing lights for our dark skies policy in my neighborhood. They were easy to install and look great on the front of our home. I have mine set to only come on when motion is detected and then turn off shortly afterwards. I found the sensitivity of the motion detector very sensitive, I have lots of trees on my property and when the wind blows the lights would come on all the time so I have the sensitivity set at the lowest possible level and the wind will still trigger them at times. I would have given 5 stars if not for this slight problem.

Nice Cutoff Fixture
Installed a PAR30 lamp (standard neck length) and get good cutoff plus plenty of light on the driveway. I bought the lamp separately: Lamp spec: Natural Light – 1000 Lumens – 12 Watt – 3000 Kelvin – LED PAR30 Short Neck Lamp 75 Watt Equivalent – 25 Deg. Narrow Flood – Halogen – 90 CRI – 120 Volt – Satco S29411There’s minimal glare when pulling in the driveway and the warm white lamp matches the rest of my exterior lighting. The motion sensor and daylight-off sensor work well, even though the fixture is mounted around 12 feet up on the wall.

Looks nice, but doesn’t work as advertised
My light does not appear to be broken (no damage, all functions work), but the motion sensor is not reliable. There are a few problems. I would not recommend it.1) Every time you turn it on, per the instructions, it goes into “test mode” although the manual doesn’t explain what this is. Apparently, it just means that the bulb blinks 3 times before it stays on. This is super annoying. Who would want their outdoor light to blink 3 times every time you turn it on?2) The motion sensing and dimming isn’t reliable. Sometimes I turn the light on and everything works as expected: Motion causes it to turn on, then after 5 seconds it’s dim again. But other times, motion causes it to go to 100% brightness and then it never gets dim again (and no it’s not windy and there’s nothing near the light that is moving at all).3) There are some discrepancies between what the listing here on Amazon says and what the manual says. The description says after it detects motion, the light stays on for 2 minutes after no motion is detected. But the manual says it stays on for only 5 seconds. In reality, I have seen it turn off after 5 seconds, and other times it doesn’t turn off until 2 minutes. Like I said, super unreliable.4) The sensor is super sensitive and/or flaky. So the light will turn on randomly when there is absolutely nothing moving anywhere near the light. No wind blowing, no tree branches, nothing. It just comes on. This makes it useless as a security light. Nobody wants their light to come on at 3am for no reason.All I want is a light that comes on, doesn’t blink with some weirdo “test mode”, and reliably detects motion and then dims 5 seconds after there’s no motion. This light isn’t it. It’s junk.

Fixed unadjustable motion-detector with a milk-carton
The motion-detector sensitivity is not adjustable; the light came on every few minutes. Now it works as hoped after I covered the sensor with the top of a milk-carton (see photo). Now seeking a less-ugly milk-carton. Tip: Amazon’s iplusmile LED Light Bulb doesn’t hang unattractively below the shade.
