Was this “air fryer” ever tested?
Where do I begin. Well, out of the box it is nice to look at. That is about the only positive thing I can tell you about this so called “air fryer.” It is all plastic except for the unique glass frying basket (begging to be broken). The top has suggested temp settings — in CELSIUS! It would appear that the unit itself is set for Celsius, not Fahrenheit. I set it for the highest level — 200 degrees — and cubed and light oiled some potatoes. Normally, in an air fryer set at 380 degrees these would be golden brown and crispy in a maximum of 20 minutes, usually less. At 20 minutes in this air fryer, they were still raw! Don’t even attempt meat. Oh, and note that the metal fry stand is about a 1/2″ shorter than the glass basket, so food will fall under it, as you can see my potatoes did. Also, usually on an air fryer with presets, the presents actually work. These presets on top of the fryer are just drawings of presets. The touch controls are horrible. You have hit them several times to get them to respond at all. I would rarely give something one star — but this thing clearly earned it.

Looks appealing but that’s about it
I was excited to get this glass air fryer because it looked very nice in the pictures and mine had just broke but upon opening it I realized it was very cheaply made. The whole thing besides the glass is just thin plastic and the top where it shows the food and the cooking time and temps is placed backwards so when I’m looking at the air fryer those are all upside-down. One of the little rubber pegs that go under the glass was popped out and I’m glad I found it on the floor after I opened it from the packaging because I have a baby who crawls around the house. The screen on the air fryer has a couple dents on it and it isn’t that responsive to your touch. Not to mention the whole unit is in Celsius and there’s no option for Fahrenheit. Which honestly isn’t that big of a deal but it wasn’t obviously made for the US. Since the glass basket only sits under the heat coil and doesn’t completely latch into the air fryer it has about a quarter inch gap where all the heat can escape from. When I cooked regular frozen French fries from a bag it took longer to cook than the average air fryer and longer than it would with the regular oven. It’s also pretty large and it never occurred to me that if you break the glass basket you would no longer be able to use the air fryer. It just doesn’t seem like it was tested very well or enough before they decided to sell them. I do not recommend this air fryer especially for the price they are selling this at. You could get a better quality one for cheaper.

A nice alternative to an oven. Beautiful design.
I’ve learned to manage my expectations about air fryers. I have used some of the most popular. There isn’t really a comparison between oil frying and air frying when all is said and done. The food in an air fryer will eventually cook well, but it takes time. However, the amount of electricity used is usually low compared to an oven or a stove top. That said, if you have a life on the go, or you want to take an oven camping with you, this could do nicely. The glass basket is a very nice touch. The cook temperature is only listed in celsius. There doesn’t seem to be a way to change that. While there aren’t great user instructions, the operation is pretty intuitive. The timer is not very useful. I tested French fries. Needed to highest heat setting — 200 degrees Celsius — for twice the recommended time. Took 40 mins to cook the fries at 200 degrees Celsius. According to their preset cook times it should have taken fifteen minutes at a hundred and 185 degrees celsius. The potatoes did cook well and they were crispy and brown. Very tasty.

Stunning 360 Glass Airfryer
By far, this is the best airfryer I have used and now own. After using a traditional airfryer, I wanted something without a coated metal to cook with since Iâve also made the switch to stop using coated cooking pans. This is so easy to use although it does come with a manual as well. Not only does it provide a class cooking surface, but itâs so easy to clean after use. My only concern is the wire rack that comes included. Iâm not sure of the quality of this component, so to offset my concern, I use a parchment paper liner in the airfryer as well.

Awful
This thing is terrible. I have a traditional air fryer that cooks up fries in about 10 mins. I put fries in this thing, had it on for 20 mins, and the fries were still frozen. There are a few problems here. First, everything is in Celsius, which is fine, but you have to mentally convert everything for cook time. second, the glass air fryer bin does not sit flush, so it’s completely open at the top. This means that the heat doesn’t stay in and the food doesn’t actually cook. If I’m being honest, this air fryer turned into trash after the first use. Not a great experience at all!

Interesting And Cool Air Fryer
I’ve wanted a glass air fryer for awhile but when I got this one, I was concerned it was missing the lid. There is a gap above the glass canister! But it works great! And I was also expecting to see a huge mess while it was in use. I was wrong about that too! This thing is very cool. It’s easy to use and works well. Doesn’t have as many settings as my other air fryer, but it is still very cool.
