No Slip Idea for Solid Frame w Storage
Many reviews mention the frame allows mattress slip. This may be in part because exactly one half of the bed slats have non slip tape on them (5 out of 10 of them). You can put all the non slip slats on the end you expect to slip most, or alternate between the two types. But there’s another cheap solution: rubber feet. They are available from about 99 discount stores and here on Amazon too (Asin#B00V7UD8ZQ). Simple non-slip peel and stick rubber feet for furniture legs. You don’t want the felt or cork versions. Just the rubber ones. Peel and stick the rubber feet around the edges of the bedframe facing up. Bed still sliding? Add more feet. Rubber feet too big? Cut with scissors to get double the amount of feet.Simple, cheap, effective, easy to find, easy to install, and easily replaceable: Rubber furniture feet.The frame itself is very sturdy though mine was mildly difficult to assemble. On the headboard end the slats had maybe 1/16th of an inch of extra space. On the foot end, there wasn’t enough room to put one single slat in place close to the legs. This was solved by loosening the bolts for the legs and sort of sumo squatting to push the edges apart to insert that one slat. Also, the bolt holes aren’t super well machined. You can feel you have the bolt in the threads right, then halfway tight they get difficult to turn. Feels like it may strip itself, but don’t worry. If you got the threads right on the first half, you’re just cleaning out the metal on the second half. I suspect this is why two hexkey wrenches are included for something that only contains 18 bolts total. Four bolts for each leg, and two to install the cross brace. (Twin size)The description says 500 pound weight limit, but the instructions claim 350 pound weight limit. I added a plywood board across the slats and I feel fairly confident that this bedframe would now hold 500 pounds no problem. Another thing to notice for sturdiness is that the Amazon bedframe has arched slats unlike any of the others. Convex slats that already resist bowing in the weighted direction before anyone even sits on the bed. There’s a reason that an arch is used in durable architecture throughout history, and that reason is: strength. 10 arched slats versus 8 straight ones on some other brands.While it’s listed as an 18 inch bedframe, you should know that includes the width of the rails. So, there’s only 16 inches of clearance to slide something beneath the rail. But this still provides ample storage and fits about 8 storage bins beneath a twin size. It’s like buying a storage unit and it instantly made our place feel bigger by disappearing a lot of clutter.One of the other main reasons I bought the Amazon version of this item instead of a competitor is warranty. The reviews in many of the other frames claimed little or no contact back from manufacturers regarding warranty issues. This frame is backed by Amazon themselves and comes with a 5 year warranty according to the Q&A section. Please correct me if I’m wrong regarding warranty duration.Hope this review helps you make a decision, and I’ll be sure to update this post if I have anything further to add.

Best deal in town
I would like to preface this review by letting you know that I am extremely frugal and will search forever to find a bargain on a really great quality item…It happened. I got this on sale for like $46 I think free shipping it was only 40 lb so super easy to move into the room to assemble it.I refer to the instructions a couple times but honestly even without instructions I think this bed would be extremely simple to put together. I did it by myself and it was almost a no-brainer. The only thing you really need to check for is what type of screw goes where. The good thing is if someone is helping you, they do include two hex keys. Also awesome to have spare just in case. A couple of spare screws would have been nice but they do give you spare plastic pieces that the little bars go on. This bed is extremely sturdy, really great storage space underneath and lightweight if you ever need to move it. I’m extremely pleased with this purchase and would absolutely buy again. You knocked it out of the park Amazon! Worth every penny.

The directions are not the best, but if you have common sense and look at the pieces correctly it goes together very quickly. Seems nice and sturdy too.

This item is PERFECT!! It was so easy to assemble and set up, it took approximately 20 minutes. It is sturdy and tall. Brilliant design!The metal slats come slightly arched for added support & already have a gentle double-sided tape so the mattress won’t slip & slide.It had made my life more comfortable, easy and functions well. No squeaks or sounds. I am very pleased!(The bunkie board was a separate purchase, because I’m heavier so I wanted extra support for my mattress, but it’s completely unnecessary.)

Poorly manufactured with inconsistent parts
Considering the fair price, I will say the frame is decent. It seems sturdy, it was a fairly easy build, and it is what itâs advertised as. The under-bed storage is great and exactly what I was looking for.BUT, the 4 pieces that form the frame are shipped folded up and you unfold them when you assemble. One of the pieces did not unfold enough – meaning it did not straighten out fully in comparison to the other 3 pieces. My mistake, I shouldâve stopped there and got a replacement. However, I finished assembling the frame and now the leg does not touch the floor. Keep in mind, I have a THICK and HEAVY mattress. The leg still does not reach the floor. I am not sure how much this would compromise support or stability if any – but it is something to keep in mind. Itâs a hassle to unbox all of the pieces, begin assembly, realize you have a wonky part, AND then wait on a replacement before you can finish. I am disappointed with this – I was very excited to get this frame in but this one manufacturing error really irks me. I have only slept on it for one night and I have no complaint of any wobbling or noise. It does feel like a solid piece but this one simple mess up is frustrating. **2nd picture shows under the frame & all other legs sit perfectly on the floor**** Other reviews encouraged to not tighten screws all the way until the end – this helped the stability SO much. If you plan on purchasing, this is something I would highly recommend doing so you don’t have to redo any steps.

It’s solid. Was easy to build. I’m actually really impressed by it’s quality. Was so worth it on a budget. Needed a quick solution for a furnished room rental I had to prep in a short time. It’s heavy and sturdy. As for the delivery company however, intelcom is a hit or miss. The guy left the box at thw front entrance of my complex. But put all the other pages prdwred and delivered at the same time at my door.i I’m disabled. I had to have someone bring it up for me. While the other day same company of delivery, guy brought the matress to my door. But yes the end is a worthy purchase.if get a foam matress before it has a from under base because these slats are further apart and curved. Can’t tske another support board on it. I personally went with a spring matressneith from upper layer with an added foam top matress. Because it’s a spring matress the spacing was no issue like that of a n all foam no base matress would have.

Nous voulions un cadre assez haut pour pouvoir ranger des caisses en dessous. Et effectivement, câest parfait pour cela. Le montage était facile et rapide. En revanche, le cadre nâest pas très stable. Il bouge dès quâon sây tourne et grince bcp. Je le recommande donc uniquement en lit dâappoint ou pour un jeune enfant.
