$39.99
Product Overview
The AVID POWER 20V MAX Power Drill Kit delivers reliable performance for everyday home improvement tasks, combining power, portability, and essential accessories in one practical package. Manufactured by a company with over 15 years of experience since 2006, this cordless drill is engineered to meet the needs of homeowners, DIY enthusiasts, and light professional use. Designed for simplicity without sacrificing functionality, it eliminates the constraints of cords while providing enough torque for common projects like furniture assembly, picture hanging, and general repairs. The kit includes everything needed to start working immediately—no additional purchases required.
Key Features
- 2-Speed Gearbox: Adapts to your task with two distinct speed settings. Lower speeds offer higher torque for driving screws into wood or metal, while higher speeds enable faster drilling through materials like drywall or softwood. This versatility ensures efficient handling of both screwdriving and drilling applications across different project types.
- 20V MAX Power System: Delivers consistent energy output suitable for residential and light commercial use. The 20-volt battery system balances performance and runtime, allowing users to complete multiple small projects on a single charge without excessive weight or bulk.
- Compact and Lightweight Build: Weighing less than comparable tools, this drill minimizes hand fatigue during extended use. Its ergonomic grip and balanced design make it easy to maneuver in confined spaces such as behind cabinets, under countertops, or in tight corners around the house.
- Complete Accessory Package: The included set typically contains the main drill unit, one or more lithium-ion batteries, a fast charger, a selection of commonly used drill bits, and a durable storage case. These components ensure you have all necessary tools ready from the moment the box is opened.
- Cordless Freedom: Operates independently of electrical outlets, giving you the flexibility to work anywhere—inside garages, attics, basements, or even outdoors. No need to plan around outlet locations or manage extension cords.

Benefits & Use Cases
This drill excels in environments where convenience and ease of use are prioritized over industrial-grade power. It’s perfectly suited for assembling flat-pack furniture, installing curtain rods, mounting shelving units, tightening loose hinges, and performing routine maintenance around the home. The 20V MAX system generates adequate torque for softwoods, plastics, and thin metals commonly found in residential construction. Users can switch between low-speed precision (ideal for driving screws without stripping) and high-speed drilling (for creating holes quickly). Because it’s cordless, there’s no risk of tripping over wires or limited reach—making it safe and practical for overhead work or in cluttered spaces.
The compact form factor also makes storage effortless; the included case keeps all components organized and protected when not in use. Whether you’re a first-time buyer looking to build your toolkit or someone seeking a backup drill for occasional jobs, this kit offers dependable performance without unnecessary complexity. While it doesn’t include advanced features like LED illumination or brushless motors, its straightforward operation ensures that anyone—regardless of technical skill—can operate it confidently right out of the box.
Important Notes
This model does not feature waterproofing, brushless motor technology, impact driver mode, or built-in lighting. Battery runtime will vary based on usage intensity and environmental conditions. Always allow the battery to cool before recharging and store in a dry place away from extreme temperatures. The exact contents of the kit—including number of batteries and type of bits—may differ slightly between product listings, so verify packaging details upon delivery. For optimal results, fully charge the battery before initial use and avoid forcing the drill beyond its intended application limits.

Good value for a reasonably robust drill driver.
Two speed drill, I’m not having any trouble switching between the speeds. Included an accessory kit. Fit my need at the moment. For the money, about 30, a great value.

Nice quality light duty power drill
The Avid Power 20V Power drill kit is a great, affordable light duty drill. For basic home installations, like building furniture, electronics, etc this is a great handy drill to have, since its lightweight, easy to store away, comes with a great assortment of size labeled drill bits, and tips, comes with a magnet easy swap drill head, even an extender bit that is of questionable quality, but a nice inclusion. The drill feels nice in the hand, the chuck is easy to tighten down, holds in place great. The only thing I donât like is the speed select switch, it frequently gets stuck and is hard to switch the position of.Drill operates really smoothly and comes with a battery and charger which is nice. I wish it came with a small case to hold the drill and bits because without it, the bits can easily be lost. Overall, the drill is a great value at the listing price of $39.99, you canât get much better for the price or value. But in terms of medium or heavy duty work, the drill slips and doesnât provide enough power.

Great lightweight drill
I took the drill out and charged the battery before I tried anything. Once it was charged I put it to task with a couple small projects that needed screws driven and pilot holes drilled and I’m happy with how it works. No, it’s never going to be a go-to for construction but so far it’s a really nice lightweight but powerful drill.I like that it came with several drill bits, the flexible drive shaft and some screw head bits. I do wish it has some star bits and less flat head because who has flat-headed screws anymore, but that’s no big deal. The other thing I would change is I wish it could be charged without taking the battery off, but I guess if I had multiple batteries that’s not an issue either. The video attached shows a couple of quick tasks. I drilled a 1/8″ hole into two-by lumber and drove a couple deck screws into the same. It handled them just fine. I’ll definitely be using this as my go-to lightweight drill for small projects or with my wire-twisting tools for electrical work.

It’s fine for light work but don’t expect it to drill large torx screws into 2 by 6 boards.
It didn’t cost much but it doesn’t do much heavy work either. I tried screwing some 3 1/2 inch #10 screws into the planks on my dock. It could only drive them about 2/3s of the way in before being brought to a halt by the friction. On the other hand, my smallest DeWalt drill which uses the same type battery, a 20 volt Li-Ion, drove another twenty all the way in and still had battery power left over. Another negative for the Avid is the battery has no indicator to let you know the charge.Next I tried the Avid drill on a smaller 2 inch screw. It managed to finally drive it all the way through a one inch thick soft pine board. So the Avid drill is fine for small projects around the house.I did notice that that the speed selector on top of the drill doesn’t work. On both settings, the drill spins at the same speed. But if all you want is a drill that doesn’t cost much to use for small projects, you should be reasonably happy with the Avid.

Perfect for Light DIY Work
This cordless drill is a great tool for light work around the house. It is easy to handle, with two variable speeds and a 19-position clutch for precise control. The 3/8-inch keyless chuck makes switching bits simple, and the included 22-piece drill bit set is a nice bonus. The battery charges quickly and holds up well for smaller projects. If you need a reliable drill for basic tasks, this is a great choice.

Doesnât hold the chuck keeps loosening up.
I tried to remove a screw and the chuck that holds the screw loosens and it falls out. Not pleased. Returning item. I have the same brand multi tool and like it, but battery should be compatible with the same brand for other tools.

Nice drill set.
This is a good inexpensive drill set for around the house, with good accessories perfect for weekend chores or fix it lists. Itâs not something for a professional that makes a living with their tools daily, but for the home owner needing to use a drill every once in a while it will do that job. Disappointing that it didnât include a small carry bag, that would have been perfect.
