I really love this floor lamp. It brightens up our room so well as shown in the picture. I am ordering another one for the kids room. It was super easy to put together and requires such minimum footprint. Great product!

One of the best purchases I’ve made on Amazon. Super easy to put together with well laid out instructions. Love that the light is covered within the unit, so it doesn’t get dusty and there’s no bulb to replace. Also, it’s an LED light, so it won’t get hot. I especially like the push button on/off control. A great feature for those of us with arthritis. It’s weighted base is heavier than other torchiere lights I’ve had and therefore, it’s sturdier and doesn’t wobble. Lastly, it comes with a 3 year warranty. So far, I love everything about this light.UPDATE: It’s 4 months later and I still love this light. I use it every day and it works great. Bonus, the on/off push button lights up, so you can easily see it at night. LOVE,LOVE,LOVE this light!

Clean-lined, effective lighting at a good price
The lamp was slightly harder to assemble than a similar Brightech lamp I tried (admittedly one that cost twice as much), and the pole still has some give even when fully tightened into its base. Still the lamp is easy to turn on and off and dim via a lit-up control button on the pole, and is certainly stable enough not to be easily knocked down. I wish the light it gives off were a bit warmer (i.e., yellower) than the plain white light it projects, but at least it’s not blue-ish. The more expensive torchière by Brightech I tried first seemed more solidly made and was brighter but unfortunately almost blindingly distracting because it exposed a “halo” of very bright light around the top–unlike this one which hides the light source completely and only projects the light upwards.Addendum: I bought another lamp just like this one when my 30-year old, much loved (because of the strong warm light) halogen torchière seemed to be failing (though it now seems to have recovered!). These lamps are fine, very well-priced in my opinion, but as I said above, the light they give is too “cold” and white a light for my taste (and I also wish they gave MORE light!). However, I solved the “too-white” problem by double-faced- scotch-taping a circle of yellow transparent cellophane on the top of each lamp, and now they give off the lovely warm glow that I prefer in a home! (It would be nice if the actual top came in that shade of clear yellow!)

easy to assemble and use
This is the 3rd time I’ve puchased this lamp because they add so much light to a room that reading and other activities are easily done even on the darkest Winter days. I am 78 and probably going to be ready for Cataract surgery in the next year or so but in the meantime this lamp is a game changer for me.

Not so Bright
This is a dimmable lamp that even on its brightest setting is really not very bright at all. Itâs also not sturdy and the section around the switch wobbles. Itâs fine for a room that doesnât need bright light and the lamp is tucked out of the way.

Made a mistake buying this lamp
I bought this lamp based on a previous Brightech lamp that I have. This new one is a nightmare. First of all it isn’t white but rather a light gray in color. The lamp head is smaller than what appears in the add and there is no way to replace a bulb because the lamp head is sealed….I guess you just “toss the lamp” after the bulb burns out. There is a lot of cords and connections to string thru the small lamp poles. I feel like I am stuffing the wiring in the poles which doesn’t feel right and I fear could be a fire hazard. I got to the last pole and I needed a screwdriver to undo a screw. Unforturnately the screw was very tightly wedged in there and I couldn’t unscrew it so I took the whole thing apart and put it back in the box. Contemplating if I want to go thru the hassel of trying to return it. Until that time, I basically have a $55.00 paperweight. Not happy at all with this purchase. The other lamp from Brightech was easy to put together, this one was/is a nightmare. Do not recommend. It does not look like anything as it did on the Amazon add. UPDATE: Had to spend 12.99 to get UPS to pick up this piece of junk…..never again! At least I’ll get a few buck back.

Tiene una Iluminación excelente, la puse entre Sala, Comedor, Cocina. No tengo que encender ningún otro foco o lámpara.. Ilumina Toda el Ãrea. Eso sà tomen en Cuenta Que NO ES REGULABLE, y solo tiene una tonalidad de luz. No es Blanca, ni Cálida.. es entre Ambas. Repito.. eso si ilumina muy Fuerte. Intensamente.

We bought this to replace our previous torch lamp and love its compact size and the impressive amount of light it provides! Leary of not being able to replace bulbs, so will see how many of the 25 year life span we get out of it

The dimmerswitch goes from low to bright and back by holding the button down.When released it stops at the brightness desired. Very nice! Has a satin finish.And the sections hardly don’t show. Comes with a 3-yr warranty. Print outyour Amazon invoice! (P.S.: Rub a little oil on the threads. Helps with screwingthe 4 poles in & go slowly. You’ll find the “Screw provided” screwed into thebottom pole.)
