Thick smooth stainless – compact – multipupose!
I am seriously impressed with this set! At this price point, I expected the stainless to have a bit of a rough finish and be somewhat thin except on the bottom. Not the case! These are finished smooth, so food is less likely to stick. They are thick! Magnets stick fast and hard (good induction transfer).I love how compact these are. Because the handles clip-on separately, and because they thought about it, all 5 pans nestle inside each other in a stack. The whole set fits into a 10.5 inch cube that is 7.5 inches high (box included). The handles are very sturdy, and lock onto the pans – they are not going to slip off and dump a pan of boiling tomato sauce all over the floor. They have a button on the top to release the lock (it won’t be accidentally unlocked by a finger from underneath). Also, again due to the removable handles, any of the pans can be used in an oven.Best of all, this doubles as a set of bowls – every bottom has a generous radius (about 1/2 inch) making them work equally well as mixing or serving bowls…And the two largest pans (intended as a large stock pot and fry pan I presume) triple as a dutch oven!! the fry pan lip is the same dimension as the stock pan lip, so while there they weren’t designed for that (you manufacturers listening out there?) and there is nothing to keep the dutch oven top in place, the fact that both flat lips meet perfectly (the lips are there for the handles and are 1/4 inch flat tops) means that together they will function well as a stove-top baking oven -or a dutch oven for baking crusty bread for those who have a real oven. Now that I’m thinking about it, I realized that I can pop some steel binder clips on to hold the edges of the 2 large pans together more stably as a dutch oven. I now have 3/4 inch clips as part of my set, but 1 inch clips work also. Altogether? Outstanding… I am stoked!

I absolutely LOVE these pans! At first I questioned the unique design of having removable handles, and worried they’d feel more like cheap camping pans, but now I feel like all pans should be made like this.They nest so nicely inside each other without handles, making storage much more efficient. The handles clamp on quickly and easily, and hold securely. The 3-ply stainless steel has a good weight to it, making it feel durable and high-quality. These are definitely NOT cheap camping pans!They heat up quickly and evenly, and are definitely non-stick as long as you follow the well-known tips for cooking with stainless steel (pre-heat, use a light coating of oil, and keep the heat at medium or lower).The instructions strongly recommend the handles be removed during cooking in order to protect them from heat damage. The lids also won’t sit flush while the handle is still attached.I worried about not having a handle to grab onto as I stirred the food, or having to attach and detach repeatedly, but it wasn’t an issue at all. These pans are heavy enough and the bottoms are wide and flat, so they really don’t move while stirring. It’s more just a matter of getting out of the habit of always holding the handle since it’s really not necessary.I honestly have nothing negative to say about this set. I highly recommend them!

These are great for camping, Rv use or even if you are just cooking for a couple people.
These pots and pans are made of sturdy stainless steel. They are not large pans. They are really made more for RV living or camping. In my case, I am single, in an apartment with very little cabinet space so these work for me. I did have to put the nobs on the top of the two lids myself which was not difficult. The two handles are not attached to any pots or pans. They are made so you can use them on any of the pots or pans. they attach by you pushing forward a button which opens the part that attaches to the pan. Then I just placed it over the side and squeezed the handle to close it/clip it to the pot. It is easy. The removable handles make it take up less room in your cabinets, plus they fit perfectly inside each other. With the quality and all the pots and pans you get, it is a good value.

Minimalist stainless steel pans
I’ve been curious to try the pots and pans with detachable handles. This set came compactly packed in a medium sized box. I was surprised at how well all the pans were nestled and stacked together. This is very helpful for keeping a minimalist kitchen. Organizing theem is a breeze–they take up one small corner in my cabinet.I had one small rookie incident with them when I was cooking. I burned some marks into one of the pans the first time I cooked with it. So I wouldn’t say it’s a heavy duty stainless steel but it is good quality.

These are wonderful. Some stainless steel, especially with a low price point, make the food stick which makes both cooking and clean-up very frustrating.The sides as well as bottom of each of these pans, are thick and sturdy stainless steel.I don’t have an induction cooktop. I have an electric burner cooktop and these pans work great on it.They heat evenly, they can go in the oven as well as on top the stove due to the removeable handles!Stacking them in my small space is so easy!Bonus: Because of the removeable handles, they can also be used for mixing or serving bowls.
