Complete Fan in a Box-Good Value-Well Designed Kit
This fan was very well packed and survived shipping in perfect condition. It’s an amazing creatively designed, well appointed, fan kit for the price. It was never intended to be a $200 fan but rather a value priced one box simple solution. Overall the assembly was straight forward and the blades and mounting pieces fit securely together. I had a problem mounting the main bracket to the ceiling light circuit box; none of the mounting holes in the bracket lined up with the screw positions in my 3 inch circuit box. I tried all the options and there were just no solid mounting positions other than to drill the mounting points 1/2 inch past the outside diameter junction box and close to the inside edge of the mounting bracket (see the photo). I climbed up into the attic area to check out what I was dealing with and fortunately the junction box was mounted right on the base of a pair of 2 inch wide beams so that’s where I pre-drilled and used a pair of #8 3 inch wood screws. It wasn’t a fast installation for me but worth effort; as long as the fan mounting base holds up the fan isn’t going anywhere. I used an existing regular light switched circuit and the remote paired up without any issues. I didn’t want to drill any holes in my walls and attached the remote mounting with 3M Command strips. It’s a decent looking and well engineered kit that will keep you cool and with many available light adjustments. The fan is quiet and moves a lot of air at the higher speeds and suitable for a average size room. Time will tell if will hold up to the moisture in my bathroom.

Fairly easy to install, unclear if it should be mounted to a ceiling box
If I were to do the install over, I’d watch the video on the product page first as that cleared up some confusion that I put on myself. There are a few screws pre-installed that need to stay where they are, which I removed only to need to put back. Once I realized my mistake, it was rather simple to install.The connections are all very easy to make at each step and I liked not needing to use wire nuts as there’s a connection right on the plate mount to connect the live/neutral/ground wires to. Everything went together easily.The variety of settings including fan speed, light color, light brightness, and more. While it’s nice there’s an app, I don’t plan to use it, so the included remote (with batteries in the box) will be my main means of control. The highest speed is quite fast, though far from silent, but the noise level is very reasonable.One confusion/gripe I have is that the instructions seem to indicate it should be installed into wood or concrete. In my case, I was replacing a ceiling light, so I needed to screw it into an existing electrical box. No screws that fit were included, so I had to find that hardware myself. It seems like the installation is secure and safe, but it’s odd to me that they wouldn’t support this standard form of installation with the included hardware.One more nitpick, the listing saying it’s a “low profile” fan seems a bit misleading as it extends about 10″ or so from the ceiling. Compared to another fan I have, which extends 13″ or so, I suppose 10″ is lower profile. I understand they need space for the wireless control module, as that wouldn’t likely fit in the ceiling for most people, but maybe my definition is not how the standard is measured.Other than that, I’m very happy with its quality and ease of installation (just make sure you watch the video first).

Nice cheep quit ceiling fan
Yes it is mostly plastic. But it is quiet and can move allot of are when you call on it it do it. It is a simple design and smooth lines look good for my application. For the price you cant beat it.

I love this fan. The blade produces a powerful wind and the light is super bright. The design is modern and attractive. The fan came with all the parts to install it and I was able to get it installed in about 30 minutes by myself.
