The Wiviniya 48″ tropical ceiling fan is attractive, pushes a good deal of wind, and has an incredibly bright light. I was immediately disappointed with the fan blades. They are made from a lightweight plastic which really downgrades the appearance. That said, the ceiling fan is a low cost option. Despite the unappealing plastic appearance of the fan blades, they push air beautifully. It also keeps the blades very lightweight. The fan body is a heavy duty metal. The motor is silent and functions perfectly. The fan comes with two down rod options.Installation of the ceiling fan is fairly straightforward. Assembly of the blades to the fan body is super simple and quick. Mounting the ceiling bracket is no different than any other standard ceiling fan or light fixture bracket. The electrical installation is very easy. The receiver for the remote is hardwired to the ceiling electrial box and the fan is connected to the electrical with snap-in plugs. The light ring is also plugged into the fan’s wiring. The LED light ring is covered with a plastic “globe.” This is an easy install for anyone who knows how to mount fixtures. The fan is powered by the remote and can also be powered by an app.The light is impressively bright. At the highest setting you will need sunglasses. The light can be adjusted to the brightness and the color temperature desired. There is a dim nightlight option.The fan has 6 speed options. Even at the highest speed, the fan is silent. It pushes a great deal of wind. I installed this in one of our spare bedrooms and it blows air around the entire room. The remote allows for a timer option and can reverse the fan direction.Overall, this is a nice fan for an indoor/outdoor room and a bedroom. Because of the plastic blades, I personally would not install this in a room that gets a lot of traffic and guests. The value is very good for the low cost. The quality is very good. I just wish the blades were MDF/wood.

There are plenty of good reasons for you to buy this ceiling fan. But I can narrow everything down to four basic reasons, and they’re mostly the only ones you will need. So here they are, straightforward.1. Original Style: it has a really awesome tropical/Caribbean flair to it. It’s not your typical boring looking ceiling fan, it has lots of character.2. Easy Controls: You have a really good handheld remote control. But even better, you’re able to control it through the app should you misplace your remote.3. Different Color Temperatures: many of the new ceiling fans out only have one temperature of light. Yes, they offer dimming features on some. But only one actual temp. Which is either soft white, or a cold pale bright light. This one lets you choose between a variety of temperatures for the lighting. Which means you can change the vibe or ambiance of a room easily.4. Year-Round Usage: Most ceiling fans can only be used in the summer. There’s no point using them in the winter, if the point is to keep rooms cool. But with this ceiling fan, you’re able to change up the flow of the air. So in the winter, you can reverse it so that it moves warmer air all around a room. Which means you’re able to make use of the ceiling fan literally any day of the year.I’d say the cherry on top is that you’re getting all of those features plus more for less than a hundred bucks. So if you’d like a ceiling fan with some personality, and lots of useful features, give this one a go.

Really nice looking fan, perfect for my patio. Weve been wanting to put a fan outside forever and finally found this fan that matches our other one. Love the leaf pattern and the remote makes it easy to use without getting up. – Installation was a breeze, it did come with instructions but not needed if you’ve ever installed a light once.- Physical quality is pretty decent, the fan blades are a bit thin but it does move A LOT of air so im not too concerned.- The light is nice and bright, its adjustable in brightness as well as color which I love as I prefer to have a nice bright light during the day and the nice sunset-ish color one at night.- Remote control they cheaped, its some cheap foreign plastic.- Our ceiling is slightly slanted and this works with it no problem.- Oh, and it has 2 different length downward rods, They arent much different and only provide a few extra inches of room.Id get it again, works great for our bedroom
