Transformed my living space!
Overall, a game-changer for style and functionality. Highly recommend! I added an L-bracket in the middle underneath for added support but probably didn’t need it. I bought this unit without reading reviews, because I loved the way it looked as well as how cheap it was. After it shipped, I then started reading reviews and got absolutely terrified. So many people claim that this is a monster to assemble, and that it requires after-market modifications lest it sit sagging on the wall or flat out collapse. That is not the case for me.The instructions were very simple to follow. In fact – it even instructed me to put on music while assembling – and that make it quite relaxing and pleasant. I easily put it together and then debated for several hours whether I wanted to chance hanging it per factory instructions or try modifying it. I decided to give the factory install a chance.Mounting was simple. The only hiccups I ran into was that I believe this mount kit was designed for 16″ spaced studs, and mine house is 24″. Easy fix – I just drilled my own holes in the bracket they supplied and continued as normal. Secondly, the final step is to drill bolts with washers as a second security. I had my drill set to drill, and it jammed the first washer straight into the particle board. My own fault, but a testament of how fragile this stuff is if you don’t treat it properly.I have the shelf loaded with all the kid’s gaming systems and a few decorations and feel confident that it will hold. It looks great, is sturdy, and was simple to assembly. Highly recommend.My advice is – follow instructions, use 4 studs in the wall, use a square driver bit in your drill for the screws, and listen to music.

Putting this thing together was a breeze. Just know that you need to be careful, as you would with any piece of assemble-it-yourself furniture. It doesn’t look cheap, but know that, in reality, it is. If you get an unblemished product and assemble it both correctly and carefully, I think you will be quite pleased with the product. It WEIGHS A LOT and wall-mounting it was a BITCH! It comes with very cheap hardware that will easily be destroyed with power tools. I completely stripped three of the main four-inch screws that were meant to anchor it to the wall. I used a corded drill with the proper driver bits, and I can’t imagine hand-driving it, but I recommend starting the screws this way if possible. So I replaced the included hardware with slightly larger hardware from that I bought from Lowe’s for around $6.00 and it was much sturdier in the end. Additionally, the rail system that anchors to the wall seemed less than adequate when I originally put it in place. Initially I wanted to anchor it to four wall studs, but I felt like if I added any components to it (which is what it was meant for) it would rip out of the wall from the shear weight of it all. It wanted to “lean” off the wall with no components housed in it at all. The product itself is VERY HEAVY. I ultimately decided to anchor it to the horizontal cross beam in addition to the four wall studs. And it fit flush with the wall. With the slightly stronger hardware, and anchoring this beast to the cross beam, I was really quite happy with it. It looks exactly the way I pictured it in my mind. With the slight hardware modification, I think a 40lb child could hang from it and it wouldn’t budge. But I haven’t tried it. Anyways, looks elegant, and if you know what you’re doing, then it’s really a steal for the price. Photos shown are with a 60″ TV.

Great shelf design!
This is a great addition to any media room, living room or any place in the house to watch TV and relax. The shelf is very contemporary have a great design and plenty of room for any home theater, sound bar, game console, etc. Putting this piece of furniture all together following the instructions should take you 30-45 minutes, it’s easy and the instructions are very straight forward, once the shelf is assembled is very sturdy and heavy , I think that the most difficult part of all will be installing the shelf against the wall, for this you’ll need obviously two people to hold it and it has to be attached to the studs with the hardware included, otherwise it will come down to the floor damaging your wall. The installation is not hard if you have the right tools (stud finder and a power drill). Overall my girlfriend and I are very satisfied with my purchase. It looks amazing and brings a sense of sofistication and good taste to our apartment living room. The only downside to all is that I couldn’t run the power cords of my different devices behind the wall but this has nothing to do with the shelf or the design. Give it a try depending on your needs. If you do you won’t regret it. Cheers!

Recieved the package a few days after order. Opened the box no problem. Though itâs a bit heavy to carry. Quality is good and assembly is easy. It needs 2 people to lift and install. Shelves are spacious and enough for Audi video devices. Enough openings to pass wires. Iâm vary satisfied.

***follow up****After 2 years, the wood ripped from the 3 brackets that mount on the long wall bracket. We were very disappointed with this as it makes it impossible to remount.*This wall console was easy to put together with 2 people. Instructions were very clear & easy to follow. It looks exactly as we expected and everyone who has seen it loves it as much as we do. Very happy with this purchase!
