They look good and work great
Used 4 on some vinyl covered steps. They have stayed in place even with washing. You can see them, but barely. My older dog is no longer afraid to use the stairs.

Excellent Stair Treads
To be clear I am reviewing the 8â x 32â clear stair treads. This is actually an excellent product, however, they are tricky to install. The adhesive is amazing â very strong and seems very permanent. The included roller is absolutely worthless. The reason is That the rubber covering on the roller is not even and you are guaranteed to have air bubbles if you use this roller. What you need to use is an art supply roller/brayer. The rubber is a little softer, very even, and yields wonderful results . Trapped air bubbles are your enemy when installing these. You need to make sure that you use your roller, rolling out from the center to push all air out from under the adhesive. It is also helpful to burnish the tread down with a stiff edge, such as either a credit card after rolling. What I used was a plastic bowl scraper borrowed from my baking tools. I would also suggest that you mount these treads so that the front edge of the tread sets back from the front lip of the stair tread by at least 3/4 of an inch. Nobody would step on that front three-quarter inch strip, and this prevents the tread from wearing or shredding on the front edge. Alignment is critical as you install from one end of the tread to the other, peeling off the backing slowly as you go and rolling out from the center each piece of exposed adhesive until you reach the end of the strip . I ruined my first strip by trying to use the enclosed roller, which really is a piece of junk. The roller I suggest is a brand name, âSpeedball,â and you can find it in art supply products. It is also referred to as a brayer. I would have given this product five stars had the roller been useful, but it is actually detrimental to the successful use of these of this product.

My dog recently had major surgery. She was always slipping on the steps prior to the surgery. We decided to purchase this product and it works beautifully. The dog is going up and down the stairs with ease. The product is priced very well. The installation was very easy and took about 45 minutes at the most. The product was packaged properly and arrives quickly. They are almost invisible. I would definitely recommend this product.

Good Grip, Strong Attachment, Tiny Roller
These stair grips met my needs pretty well. We have tried carpet grips before and they wear down quickly, look rough and have a tendency to come detached. These semi clear grips don’t seem to have any of these issues. They stick very securely, they are harder plastic so they won’t wear quickly and they look pretty good. They are not as clear as I was expecting but they do blend in pretty well. My only complaint that lost a star is that the roller it comes with is super tiny. I did my best to roll them out but it still left a lot of bubbles. Over a few days they mostly went away from walking on the stairs. But there are still some on the sides where there isn’t as much traffic. Overall I would suggest these. One note, make sure you measure your stairs! I forgot to and had to exchange mine. Totally my fault. Measure twice, buy once.
