All parts for my twin frame arrived well packaged and clearly labeled in one heavy 45″ x 12″ x 6″ box. This surprised some reviewers that were expecting a longer box and one piece side rails. The side rails come in two pieces and, when secured, are very sturdy.The quality of the bamboo is excellent and the fit and finish very good. All holes and threaded inserts aligned perfectly. Once assembled, the frame is sturdy and so far no squeaks.A welcome addition was that each of the bolts and washers include one extra in case one gets dropped or damaged.The assembly took a little over an hour. I had a holder only for Step 7 where the side rails attach to the head board and foot board. Two tips I can emphasize are: 1) be careful on inserting the bolts into the embedded inserts so that they go in straight and don’t cross thread; and 2) wait until all pieces are assembled and aligned before tightening the bolts.As expected, the assembly instructions could use some work.1) The first thing to note is that there are two different sized metric hex heads on the machine bolts (M8 and M6) along with two different Allen keys to tighten them, not one as the parts list shows. Don’t use the M6 key on the M8 bolts or you risk rounding out the hex head.2) The written Step instructions call out the wrong bolt identifier in Step 1 (says C but should be H) and Step 5 (Says C but should be D). In the lower left of each Step, you can find the metric bolt used with its diameter and length (e.g., M6 x 75). These bolt specifications on each step are correct even though the identifying letter is not always.3) The drawing for Step 6 where you join the two Side rail pieces, the middle leg and the support for the center bar is terrible. This was the only step where I had to redo the assembly because I guessed wrong. The center support connector (Part 11) attaches to the top two holes on the Side post (Part 3). The washers go on the bolts for the bottom two holes on the Side post (Part 3).Overall I recommend this product.

I had high hopes since the reviews were great, but was still worried because of the price point being lower. However, I was pleasantly surprised when I opened the package and everything was nicely wrapped, well protected, and labeled. It was so easy to assemble. It’s lightweight, so easy to move on my own. It also has zero squeaks!! And I’m a plus size woman, so this was something I worried about. Overall would repurchase again and recommend to my friends and family.

Returned 2 boxes unopened. Eachtwin bed we ordered for our 2 kids, came in 2 small boxes, that were exactly the same. They were not very long or wide, but very HEAVY!The 2 boxes, for 2 twin beds, were very deceptive. The long side board & large head board, could not have fit in these smallboxes. Missing part
the bed frame is very stable and nice but i ran into some issues with the set up. the set up was a pain. Also while setting it up, a lot of the paint was chipped off (because it was impossible not to do). But the biggest issue was that I am missing one piece, 13. i tried to reorder just the one piece but was not able to. you can only return it. I would rather not take another 2 hours dissembling it.

The bed comes all pre-packed in one box – the headboard comes in two sections with additional shelves that fit behind the cut out. The box is heavy and the Amazon delivery guy struggled to get it to my door but then did help bring it in to the ground floor of the house with me.Having hauled it upstairs on my own, I then set about building it. Despite the best efforts to confuse the buyer with incorrectly labeled parts and misleading directions, it took me about an hour to assemble the bed.We found some of the bolts had been mislabeled and the instruction diagrams indicated numbered items but the written direct gave an alternative number. However, with a little common sense and a bit of trial and error, we managed to get the right parts in the right place, finally getting the bed assembled. Now just waiting for a new mattress to be delivered from a local wholesale outlet.The bed frame is very stable when built but easy to move around. The natural bamboo colour is neutral and fits nicely with the decor in our guest room, the intended location for this and I don’t feel the need to hide this look by using a bed skirt.I did find everything I needed to build the bed and a few odd bolts left over as a spare. This comes with a single hex/Allen key that fits all of the bolts but my advice would be to either use one with a longer handle for greater leverage or a power screwdriver with the correct hex/Allen key wrench size. The hex/Allen key provided is very short and easily slips out of the fingers while trying to use it.The maximum weight recommendation comes in at 1500lbs so this frame will hold a heavy memory foam mattress and two adult with ease. The metal slats provide the strength necessary to hold this and fit snuggly into the bamboo rails and central metal support that has three folding legs that provide the additional stability.Being high off the ground, the frame and mattress combined will give us a height of about 24″ from floor to the top of the mattress. The clearance under the bed is about 11″ from floor to the underside of the frame.I feel very satisfied with the quality of workmanship on this frame and the price is comparable with frames of a similar style.

The bed we use at our vacation home features a wicker headboard and footboard. These, along with a rail running along either side of the bed, serve to hold the mattress in place. Unfortunately, the set up is such that it makes changing the sheets a real chore; my wife and are continually raking our hands against the wicker, cutting them and getting slivers. We finally decided that it was time for a new bed frame and headboard.Unfortunately, we weren’t at home when the delivery person arrived with the box containing the set; it was left outside on the porch. When we came home and attempted to move it into the house, we found that it was heavy, so much so that my wife and I actually struggled to get it into the room where we were going to set it up. The contents of the box were tightly and carefully packed; happily, everything, including the screws and other hardware, was clearly labeled and organized. I would suggest laying everything out on the floor before beginning assembly, this really helps avoid mistaking one piece for another.All of the pieces in the set were precisely crafted to fit together perfectly. The tools that are required to assemble the bed frame are all included in the package. Including the time that it took to lay everything out, I was able to put the bed together in a little over an hour and a half. The only difficulty that I encountered was with two sets of screws that seemed to have their labels switched; this was annoying, but didn’t take long to correct. The only time I required extra assistance was when it came time to attach the footboard and headboard to the frame. The finished product didn’t wobble in the slightest and seemed extremely sturdy (the manual states that it is capable of supporting 500 pounds)!In terms of aesthetics, the bed surpassed the expectations of both myself and my wife; it is really quite beautiful! The distinctive appearance of the bamboo really adds to the character of the piece; it has real elegance while maintaining a simple, minimalistic look that is perfect for our decor. The built-in shelf that occupies the centre area of the headboard is both functional and attractive; it’s wide enough to accommodate a phone, glasses, a watch, or even a paperback. It does not have a backing, although the construction of the unit is designed to allow it to sit very close to a wall backing the bed. The top of the headboard also functions as a shelf; it is wide enough that it can house two fairly narrow lights that we use as reading lamps. The unit is nicely finished and has a smooth, hard exterior that is easy to wipe clean. It should be noted that, with nearly 12 inches of clearance underneath the frame, the unit does provide room for additional storage beneath it.My wife and I are extremely impressed by this headboard/bed frame! It is easy to assemble, attractive, sturdy, and provides handy storage both underneath the unit and on the shelves contained in the headboard; as an added bonus, it also makes changing the bedding much easier. We love the light, airy, look of bamboo and feel that the minimalistic appearance will fit with almost any decor. At close to $400 CAD, this unit is expensive but, given the quality, we feel it is more than worth it. Highly recommended.

I picked up this COMASACH Bamboo Wood King Size Bed Frame with Storage Headboard to replace the old metal base frame I had before, and I’m very happy with the decision.It arrived in one long, very heavy box. All of the pieces were clearly numbered with stickers, the screws were neatly bagged, separated, and labeled, and paper instructions were included.After laying everything out, my husband and I were able to put the frame together fairly quickly. It took about an hour. The instructions weren’t perfectly clear, but they were easy enough to follow. I did notice that one set of screws was mislabeled according to the instructions; however, using the included information it was easy to figure out which screws were needed.The bed itself looks great, feels smooth to the touch, and offers plenty of support throughout. Overall, it’s a solid, well-made bed frame. The built-in storage headboard is a nice bonus and very convenient for storing books, phones, and other bedside items.Overall, I would definitely recommend this bed frame, it exceeded my expectations.
