I needed a recliner with the lift chair feature due to my physical limitations. I had priced other ones, and this one seemed to be the most value for me. The monthly payments plan was also a factor in my choosing Amazon to make my purchase.

Beautiful chair
My husband is a tall, large man with Parkinsonâs disease. This lift chair makes it possible for him to sit comfortably and still get up without help. It is a lovely color, a very comfortable seat, and a huge relief for me. Unfortunately, it does not quite lift him enough to help him stand every time. We are still trying to figure out the trick – he can make it without help about 75% of the attempts. Nevertheless, it is a wonderful product for which we are extremely grateful!

Big disappointment!
I bought this for temporary use after abdominal surgery, so my expectations were not high. The chair was cheap and it looks it. I wanted a chair that would adjust to many positions and help me stand up to avoid putting strain on my sutures. The movement of this chair is infuriatingly slow. It will not lift your feet to a 90 degree angle and the feet only lift when the back goes down so you canât sit with your feet up. The arms are designed as 2 pieces of ply wood that pull apart and are covered with a pillow. There is no solid support to lean on. Lift chairs seem to have 1 to 3 motors. I mistakenly thought more motors were needed for heavy people, but apparently, each motor controls a different chair surface. The more motors, the more different positions the chair can achieve; you need 3. We are returning the chair. Putting it together was not too bad, but getting it apart to put back in the box was impossible. We got the back off with a crow bar, but we could not collapse the arms. Through a chat, Amazon said do the best you can and we will pick it up. The only reason I took a chance on a mail order chair, is because it said free returns and Amazonâs customer support is excellent. Iâm going to see what I can find at Bobâs furniture, where I can try it before I buy it.

For 300 bucks, you canât beat it. Itâs very comfortable. The vibration of the message is strong. And the lift feature makes it easy to get out of the chair. I am extremely happy with this chair.

This chair is great but the patient is having a hard time learning how to have the chair help him. So so far I kind of feel that it’s unsafe. Won’t know until we get more practice with it.

Good but not great
I bought this chair for my mother who has dementia and uses a walker. Overall the chair is pretty good, however, someone who is not great with overall supine shifting and mobility may lean or start to fall out of the chair if it is not put in the reclining position. The arm cushions could use more support and the way you pull the sides of the chair out as instructed do not lock into position, so over time you’ll find they need to be pulled back out. Wide spacers put underneath the arm rests (below) would help. Someone with a little ingenuity could make this good chair great; for the price, that’s the tradeoff.

This chair is so comfortable. It has a great back support in place (which after being on a dining chair for 3 months is welcome relief) and the seat is really soft but sturdy.It moves around pretty easily on carpet and honestly I’m just mad at myself for not investing in this sooner. After only 1 day of using it I had no joint pain or aches and I can finally get the height right for sitting at my desk all day.It was easy to assemble, comfortable and fully supportive chair to encourage good posture.

This chair is great value for money. It is easy to assemble and comfortable to sit on for extended periods now Iâm working from home full time. The only problem is it squeaks and creaks quite loudly every time I move to reposition myself. But you canât have everything at this price.
