Our COMMERCIAL CHEF 0.7 cu. ft. microwave is not cordless and is equipped with a 3-wire, 3-prong grounding plug. You may use your new microwave in a variety of indoor settings, but only on flat stable surfaces.
What’s the difference between Weight Defrost & Time Defrost?
Our countertop microwave’s Weight Defrost Function works by inputting your food’s weight, which will defrost accordingly; Time Defrost will defrost meat, soups, stews, and other foods solely by inputting your preferred time.

The preset menu options streamline your heating with the following choices: popcorn, potato, frozen vegetable, beverage, dinner plate, and pizza.
How does the Multi-Stage Cooking Function work?

Great microwave!
Whatâs not to like? I like the compact size. I use it primarily only to steam vegetables. I had to purchase this to replace a Sears & Roebuck microwave that was literally a 1983 wedding gift! I have seen many negative reviews on this model about it rusting and I just think to myself why would it rust? Probably because people donât realize that you have to just take a paper towel and wipe it out after every use I think thatâs just common sense and I also leave the door open to let it completely dry out; itâs kinda along the same lines as you should leave your washing machine lid open for it to dry out. I donât need to use the clock on it so itâs no big deal as I have a kitchen clock. I highly recommend this model to anyone that wants a great microwave at a reasonable price!

Meets my needs
I recently had to move from 1100 sq. ft to 532 sq ft and the new place had no microwave. This works in my small space although a slight bit awkward to use. After setting it up I noticed the glass tray had a broken sliver on the edge of the glass tray. Since it was too much work to pack it up again I will live with it. The glass tray frequently falls off the round tray holder. Again, I will live with it. I do wish I had thought to find one where the door opens the opposite way; it is a little awkward to use opening to the left.

Low power problems
Itâs sure cute. My other one was 21 inches long..so big but was a mega micro. Lots of power. Getting used to this 700 watt is different. Now I have had a few months I am updating the review. The button to open is very hard to use. I need a lot of pressure to open it. Really hard. 700 watts is difficult to adjust to. It seems not to make thing hot enough. What was 4 min in higher watt micro meds 6-7 with this one. Sometimes thatâs not enough. I wish I bought higher watt. The hard to open button really bothers me too.Wouldnât purchase again. Itâs not junk, seems well made. Itâs not my cup of tea. My bowls are hot my food is not. I donât recommend it.

Almost exactly the same as the Sharp I’m replacing
My all-white Sharp microwave finally malfunctioned after five years of daily use, and I wanted to replace it with something similar.This Commercial Chef is almost EXACTLY the same as the Sharp. The size is just right, and the buttons are all in the same place. The awesome “add 30-seconds” function on the start button is there, too. The only obvious difference is that the window area is darker-toned than on my Sharp.Packaging was excellent, and the unit arrived in pristine condition.I was especially happy to find an all-white microwave available on short notice. They were back-ordered and required a wait of several weeks at the stores in my area.So far, everything cooks the same way it did with my Sharp.The only negative is that you can’t use regular microwave popcorn bags in a 0.7 cubic foot model. I have to get the snack size instead.

It arrived yesterday but I have not unpacked as I am moving. I am sure it will be just great. All my previous purchases of small microwaves have worked out – never a problem.

WORST MICROWAVE I HAVE EVER OWNED, I THOUGHT I WAS GETTING THE MAGIC CHEF,
BIGGEST PIECE OF JUNK I HAVE EVER GOT TAKEN ON…. I HAD THE MAGIC CHEF FOR YEARS, I THOUGHT THATS WHAT I WAS GETTING, BUT NO, I GOT ONE CALLED THE COMMERICAL CHEF. I CAN’T SAY ENOUGH BAD FEATURES IT HAS… THE WORST ONE IS IT FILLS WITH WATER!!!!!! UNDER THE DISH. I SMELLED SOMETHING AWFUL AND DISCOVERED IT WAS COMING FROM THE MICRO WAVE, THE WATER UNDER THE DISH WAS STINKY… SOMETIMES I WORKS, SOMETIMES IT DOESN’T THE DOOR IS SO, SO, SO HARD TO OPEN AND MAKES SO MUCH NOISE IT WAKES UP THE HOUSEHOLD… I WOULD LOVE TO RETURN IT, BUT I GUESS IT’S TOO LATE, I WILL DIG O UT MY OLD ONE AND PUT IT BACK UP, IT WAS PEELING PAINT, BUT AT 82 I’LL TAKE MY CHANCES!!!!!!!!!
