They really are machine washable!!!
I got these in May 2022. Loved them then. Zero complaints. They gripped my hardwood floor steps really well and looked great.Got a puppy 3 months later. Vacuumed and spot cleaned for the longest (more than a year). I mistakenly assumed that I would have to replace them. No reviews mentioned washing them, only the description said they were machine washable.It’s true!!! I washed in cold water on the shortest wash cycle. I dried them on the coolest setting. They shed some fibers in the wash cycle but held up GREAT!The adhesive strips are not exactly the same as they were out of the box, HOWEVER they have enough of the tacky/adhesive quality to remain firmly planted on my steps. They don’t budge at all. So, I’m not worried about me or my dog slipping.AND after washing they look brand new. Not sure how many washings they can take. But I’m thrilled with the quality thus far!!!If you have pets or humans prone to slipping, you definitely want to get these.I only wish they sold larger pieces for landings and door mats. Love otherwise and highly recommend.

Stay put, easy to clean, perfect!
We bought these because the country style braided stair treads we got when we moved in almost 20 years ago had completely dried out on the bottom, and they had lost their ability to “stick” in place. They were looking worn, were getting more difficult to clean, and more important, since they would slide around on an open staircase, we and the dogs would accidentally kick them through to the floor beneath, which frightened the dogs. They were costly at the time, as you could only purchase them in packs of four; similar replacements are even more expensive now.I will admit that these were so reasonably priced that I was initially skeptical and hesitated to place the order. They sounded exactly like what we needed though, so I took a chance. They’ve turned out to be absolutely perfect. Once these were in place, it occurred to me that even I was a little hesitant using the stairs with the previous treads. Once the protective sheath is removed from the back and the treads are placed on a clean surface, they do not move at all. One reviewer here suggested their treads had a hump in the middle due to being folded during shipping. So when they arrived I laid them in one large pile, one on top of an another, in an unobtrusive area for a few weeks with a heavy volume of complete Shakespeare plays and sonnets across the center. When I finally got around to installing them, no more hump. The nap is low enough that I can run a dust buster over them and I’m done. The braided treads were a bear to vacuum. One reviewer suggested their ability to stick yet remain easy to remove wasn’t diminished after machine washing. I won’t be testing that any time soon, but I’ll update my review once I do.One of the dogs is still leery of the stairs, but I think his fear will diminish in time as he realizes the treads are much more secure than the old ones.

Best Stair Treads
We went through around 3-4 other brands and they just wouldn’t stay put. The COSY HOMEER Stair Treads look great and grip our wooden staircase better than all the rest. I highly recommend these treads.

These rugs are very easy to put on and they stick really good they shed a little from the sides of the rug but not too bad I really like them and I get allot of compliments from family I would recommend buying these rugs

Wow! Easy Peasy!
61 yr old female decided to save $1000 plus and ripped the old stinky carpeting out herself, pulled all the staples, sanded and painted the steps which took about 4.5 hours, with breaks. THESE Carpet TREADS TOOK ME 5 MINUTES TOTAL to put down. I even placed them without a ruler just because they are removable (I eyeballed it). I’m just so happy I didn’t have to measure and mess with sticky stuff. These are obsoletely the easiest to place down. yes they are a tad pricey but really worth it, considering the time it took to put them down. btw the wood looks nice from far away but it wasn’t, it really needed a paint job. I liked the thickness of the carpet, it doesn’t look shaggy like bathroom carpet. Its very low pile and yet comfortable on your feet. Dog tested too and they didn’t move! Thank you for creating such an awesome product! Total cost of project under $150.00 Oh Happy Day!

Added texture and safety
I ordered these for the steps in an older house. The steps are a bit winding and the treads were easy to cut and fit in place. They do not slip and added much safety when going up and down stairs in this 1860’s house. They also make it quieter with shoes and more comfortable without.

Good carpet for stairs, poor adhesive.
We bought a set of these back in 2021 so our dogs could go up stairs to our second floor. They stuck well to varnished hardwood floors.I bought a second set recently so our dogs could go down to the basement where I spent much of my time working. The stairs are raw wood basic basement stairs and the adhesive didnât work at all the they slid right off. Even after cleaning each step with rubber alcohol.The fix was buying a can of Gorilla Glue Spray Adhesive from the local Lowes. I put down a big sheet of paper and sprayed the underside of each one then reapplied it to the steps the regular adhesive wouldnât stick to. They stuck down instantly and will not be moving or going anywhere for a long long time.Like I said, good quality carpet for stairs, but the adhesive isnât very good. Fortunately they are cheap enough price wise and a $7 can of spray adhesive made it all work.Now my dogs are happy! And that is really all that matters.

These stair treads are of very poor quality. The moment we opened the package, the treads started shedding. They will not stand up to everyday use, vacuuming or occasional washing without shedding. The only thing nice is that the colour was nice and the fibres were soft even if they didnât stay attached to the treads!One last thing, a request was sent to the seller for a refund but no reply was received on their part. Thank goodness for Amazonâs A to z guarantee. My refund request was accepted and refunded by Amazon. Way to go Amazon!

Treads folded up in package and were creased. On opening packet it was clear that the stair treads were poor quality and would not have any durability.The edging of each tread was unfinished and carpet fibres were falling out from sticky rubber.

Our intrepid grandson was due to visit and we wanted something as a temporary cover to secure our open tread wooden stairs for his visit without ruining the surface of the wood. These stair treads have exceeded our expectations! They are soft to the touch, nicely finished off, easy to lay, can be repositioned if required and, incredibly, do not move at all! They stick like glue, but without the glue. Incredibly they are also an identical match to our sage green carpet! Ok, the colour match was a bizarre fluke for us but they look so good and work so well that they are definitely staying in place.
