Product Overview
The DECKED Truck Bed Storage System with System Accessories is a durable, American-made storage solution designed for Toyota Tacoma trucks from model years 2005 to 2023. Manufactured in Defiance, Ohio, this system transforms your truck bed into a highly organized and functional workspace or gear-carrying platform. Built from recycled materials and engineered for strength and efficiency, it offers a practical way to maximize both storage volume and usable deck space. With a full-length drawer below and a reinforced deck above, you can securely store tools, equipment, and other essentials while maintaining the ability to carry larger loads on top. The system’s thoughtful design supports a variety of work and lifestyle needs, making it ideal for contractors, outdoor enthusiasts, and anyone who values organization and protection from the elements.
Key Features
- Full-Length Drawer & Reinforced Deck: The DECKED system creates a segmented layout that includes a full-bed-length drawer beneath and a sturdy, flat deck surface above the wheel wells. This setup increases usable truck bed area, allowing for versatile storage options—whether you’re storing small parts in the drawer or loading larger items on the elevated deck.
- 1,000-Pound Load Rating: The entire system supports an evenly distributed load of up to 1,000 pounds when placed on the deck. This makes it suitable for heavy gear, equipment, or cargo that would otherwise be difficult to secure or organize in a traditional open truck bed.
- Compatible with Toyota Tacoma (2005–2023): Specifically engineered for 5’1″ long beds, the system fits seamlessly into compatible Tacoma models, ensuring a precise and stable fit without modifications.
- Weatherproof Drawers: The enclosed drawers are designed to protect stored items from common environmental exposure such as moisture from car washes or light rain. While not completely airtight, the Closeout Panels help reduce the entry of dust and airborne particulates, keeping contents relatively clean and dry.
- Lie-Flat Tie-Down D-Rings: Integrated steel D-rings with Steel2Steel connections allow you to secure loads directly onto the deck surface. These lie flat when not in use, maintaining a smooth deck area and preventing snagging during installation or removal.
- Easy Installation & Removal: Once assembled initially—which may take up to 2 to 3 hours using common hand tools—the system can be removed or reinstalled in approximately 15 minutes. This feature allows for flexibility if you need to temporarily clear your truck bed.

Benefits & Use Cases
The DECKED system is especially valuable for professionals who rely on their trucks for daily work tasks. Contractors can store power tools, fasteners, and manuals safely in the drawer while carrying lumber or sheet goods on the deck above. Outdoor adventurers benefit from protected access to camping gear, recovery equipment, or fishing tackle without worrying about weather exposure. The ability to quickly remove the system also makes it ideal for seasonal use or when transporting oversized items that won’t fit inside a closed compartment.
By combining a full-length storage drawer with a strong, flat-use deck, the system optimizes every inch of available space—something traditional truck beds cannot offer. The integration of tie-down points ensures added security for loose cargo, reducing the risk of shifting during transit. Whether you’re using your Tacoma for utility work, weekend trips, or daily commuting, the DECKED system enhances functionality and protects your investment in tools and gear.
Important Notes
While the drawers offer significant protection against rain and dust, they are not fully sealed or waterproof. Users should still consider additional protective coverings for extremely sensitive electronic devices or documents during prolonged wet conditions. Installation requires basic mechanical skill and access to common hand tools; no specialized equipment is needed, but patience is recommended during the first assembly due to the complexity of aligning components. The system is intended for use only with compatible Toyota Tacoma models and 5’1″ beds—using it in incompatible configurations may compromise structural integrity or safety.
Each package includes all necessary hardware and mounting components for a complete setup. No additional accessories are required for standard installation, though optional System Accessories may expand utility based on individual needs.

Serious value
Honestly, I love the product. The install instructions were fantastic and hilarious, build quality seems like a great value for the money. Some hardware was missing from the shipment, reached out to customer service for replacement pieces.Edit; customer service replied the very next morning, and shipped hardware out.My truck is heavily modified (over 18k) and this is by far one of the best value mods I’ve done. The extra storage are awesome too, feel same quality as something like pelican, and 1 has gaskets so its great for camera gear. I usually had dead vertical space in the camper shell when traveling and now i just have more convenient storage options. Seriously happy with this thing.Install was easy too even with the camper shell, but my side windows open so, that made it easier.

Quality product and good customer service.
I love this product so far. It took an evening with a friend to get installed and works well. The drawers are very smooth and high quality. But be carefull about the gasket that goes in the center beam between the two drawers. I didn’t see that mentioned anywhere in the instructions and I suspect that leaving it out would effect the weatherproofing. Though It wasn’t Hard to go back and put the gasket back on though once I figured out where it goes. The only problem I’ve had so far is when going through a drive through car wash the ammocan lids got blows off causing me to lose them. But their customer service was excellent, when I emailed them they responded within the hour and agreed to send me new lids free of charge, all I had to do was provide proof of purchase.Overall I’m very satisfied with this company. And priduct

Easy to install.
Nice way to keep tools and spare parts organized while still able to use deck space. I installed it under my factory tonneau cover.

Glad I did it..
Glad I did it, but it was a trade off.I use these drawers everyday for projects and I am getting my value from the purchase. (( I don’t think I was ever going to build a suitable alternative from lumber, so.. and these are QUALITY )) There is some wasted space in the design to support the platform weight (that I’ll hardly use, but nice to have) and the small drawer (on the medium trucks) takes some getting used to.Also, the directions for the TACOMA installation were somewhat lacking, and there were several issues – -including (surprise documentation:) replacing all the factory tie downs, drilling plenty of new holes, and (undocumented:) re-adjusting the off-center support to fit the small drawer (versus following the general instructions – step by step as recommended – this ommision meant a trip to the store to buy new materials, and removing the unit again to re-install in a different spot,l before starting over.. -all to reposition the simple spacers that supput all that weight in a medium size bed (one note on page one would have avoided this hassle)Whole thing took nearly all day to assemble, but I did it by myself (all the unexpected drilling and hardware replacements required a 2nd person outside/and under the bed) .. the surprises delayed my trip a bit, but it got done and it turned out fine.Again, I AM happy with the purchase – – but I would RECOMMEND SPEAKING WITH SUPPORT first to avoid any surprises in case your truck does not fit nicely into the heavily advertised, No holes drilled, Utilizes factory tie downs, Easy assembly, etc. etc. -Enjoy

Inovative Product that is American made and great customer service
I really like this system. Itâs strong and durable. After installation, I somehow lost one of the “ammo can” covers on the back. I emailed them and got a new one quickly, no questions asked and without cost. This isn’t for everyone but I’ve had mine a year with no problems.

Should have bought this when the Tacoma was new.
I got this after having the new truck six months. I would have saved a few side scratches if I didn’t wait. I really like it, I mounted some side tool boxes on it to carry a chopsaw, etc. There is still room on top for a portable table saw, all the small tools go in the drawers. One thing I would recommend if you carry a lot of tools is Sumo-Springs to counter the extra weight. It’s a good system, worth the cost.

Spend less on advertising and more on the product. Not made for tradespeople.
Use time: 6 months through winter and summer as a carpenterSummary: Decked put a lot of money into their advertising and promos but the overall product is not worth what you may for. They are obsessed with having their name on stuff and the overall product feels like something made for a person who wants to feel blue collar in their Gucci truck.-Out of the box 2 of the threaded inserts in the system were loose and came out. I was able to thread them in backwards which was a pain in the butt and one held but the other broke free so one screw in the back is loose.- You have to use their tool boxes which come in pieces and you need to put them together, they are not cheap and have their name all over it.- Some of the injected molds are either worn out or poor QC for internal parts. If youâre going to brag about how you had a scientist design this stuff, have your internals look as nice as the outside.-The locks are cheap cheap cheapOverall my impressions of the tool box are poor. It has the feel of the new harbor freight tools. They might look good and have nice names but itâs still from harbor freight. If youâre going to work the trades and need to have a drawer system you need a metal top thatâs one piece. I have no recommendation for something to replace this.

Humorous instructions
Went together easily. My wife helped me for about five minutes and I did the rest myself. Very water tight. My only negative comment is the drawers are not full extension and it is difficult to retrieve small items from the fronts of the drawers.

Awesome bit pricey but fantastic for keeping camping etc stuff organized and locked up

Just installed this and for those who want to carry gear all the time this is the ticket. One big single drawer with huge space and containers to keep gear separated. Can get locks for the drawer and the 2 panels on top if uiu don’t have a lockable bed.

Order box with accessories, Accessories were not included. Product is great but seller less than desirable. Contacted seller but they never bothered to respond. Recommend you purchase products from another seller.
