Outstanding thus far
We just had all of these installed in our new home. They appear to be made very, very well. Install was straightforward – no issues there. The remote is like a taller iPod and comes with a wall holder. The battery is powered by a button cell (bonus IMO). The light on this fan is outstanding. Lights have been an eternal source of frustration and I am thrilled that the lights on these fans are so good. You can independently change the brightness and color temperature. The fan itself is nearly silent and moves a good amount of air. We are very, very happy with these fans and the value they provide.

Sleek modern fan that’s easy to install and setup
I purchased two of these fans to install in my great room. They came quickly and were very easy to install. I’m very impressed with how quiet the fans are! At slow speeds they are inaudible. At high speed, all you can hear is the sound of moving air! They look very modern and sleek. The light is so much brighter than the old fans, and the ability to adjust the intensity and color temperature make the lighting in my great room actually useful!It was really easy to set the fans up on the smartphone app as well. I was able to easily connect them to my Wi-Fi network, and now can control them from literally anywhere with internet access! I was able to add my spouse as well so they can control it too. It’s nice to not have to leave the couch to make adjustments!I did have an issue with one of the fans, but I reached out to Dreo support and was helped by Tracy. Tracy quickly identified the issue and sent a replacement fan that showed up the very next day. I can’t thank Tracy enough for the help, and the excellent customer service!The only negative thing I can say about the fan is that it is designed to connect to only one power source. My old fans had two connections, one for the fan, and one for the light. That allowed you to utilize a wall switch to control the two functions separately. Since the new fans only has one connection, you can’t use the wall switch to control the light separately from the fan. However, that is easily resolved by using the included remote. I mounted it next to the original wall switches and can easily use that to control all functions of the fans.If you are looking for a new smart fan for your space, these would be my first recommendation!

Itâs good⦠just make sureâ¦
Use a regular switch and not a dimmer switch. If you use a dimmer switch youâll get flickering, occasional beeping accompanied by flickering, and maybe even an occasionally random moment where it turns on or off by itself.The ceiling fan/light works well and performs the way it should. I installed it 3 months ago and it works as described. The directions were written very well and were easy to follow. Iâve installed probably close to 30 ceiling fans in various houses by now and this one is good.The issues I have are with the remote control, beeping, and the dimming of the light. I wish the light button on the control was physically larger and more pronounced; it should be easy to turn on a light when you walk in a dark room. Also, I hate hearing a beeping sound from most appliances. For this ceiling fan and light combo, just plan on keeping the actual switch on. If you switch it off and then turn it on again there is an audible beeping sound. I dislike that. Finally, although Iâm glad this has a dimming function built in and part of the remote control, I wish the light could be dimmed down more. I installed this in our primary bedroom and itâd be nicer to have lower luminosity.Overall though, the look is great and fits our modern vibe, itâs a good size, it fits our room well, and it seems well made.

Quiet, Affordable, Feature Filled
My handyman charges a range of installation fees depending on how hard the fan installs are. He charged me the minimum to install this one in a 15′ x 15′ bedroom. Said it was one of the easiest installs he has done lately. He asked what I paid for the fan and was very impressed. He installs over 100 fans a year, at twice the price that he claims are of lower quality.We like the range of fan speeds, the reversible direction of the fan blades, the color and intensity settings on the light, and the super quiet motor. All we hear is the air movement. The remote is handy and intuitive.We feel this was a great value for the money and a solid product.

Quiet and powerful
We installed one fan and liked it so much we decided to install it everywhere else around the home as we upgraded our electrical wiring, even replacing some others.The fan is super quiet and can go anywhere from a light breeze to a really strong wind. It is self leveling, but does have a slight wobble at higher speeds. This isn’t a problem for us because the high speeds are so high I can never imagine using them. You can see the curtains blowing around in the attached video.We connected the light to a wall switch and it’s “memory” feature is excellent. I can confirm they have updated the software – if you mute the sounds from the remote it will not beep when you turn it on. However, it does not instantly turn on like any normal light if you use a wall switch.Unfortunately the light is too bright, especially for me in the morning. Without the app, you can only turn it down to 5%. In thr photo the light is at 1% and the “warmest” color. You can see the room is very bright and a little on the blue side for my tastes for bedtime reading or waking up.I highly recommend using the app for full control. I was able to set up Siri shortcuts so I can use my voice. The app also gives you more fan modes, like natural and sleep, and allows you to set up scenes and schedules. Overall we are very happy.
