Did the Work for Me!
I have very old linoleum floors in my apartment that are waxed between occupants, even though the floor is far from clean. Of course that means the grime is waxed in & the floors look filthy all the time. I’ve scrubbed with just about every product & every brush under the sun & they still look disgusting. I saw this brush by Drill Brush & decided to try it – can’t hurt, right?I started in a small room that I had just cleaned (it didn’t look like it, though) but one where a difference would be noticed. I sprayed my cleaner on the floor, took the Drill Brush to it, wiped up the area when I finished & holy cow! My rag was black! The brush finally broke up the wax, busted through layers of filth & left me with a truly clean floor for the first time ever! Not one bristle was lost! I was amazed! Plus, I didn’t feel like my bruises had bruises the next day!It fit my drill without issue. It has a good, strong metal connection as one would expect, not some cheap, flimsy or weak metal. The brush did not wobble in the drill at all.For a “try for the heck of it” item, it has already paid for itself, in my opinion. Sure, it takes a bit of muscle to keep your drill in check, but you get the hang of that as you go along – at least I did & I have spaghetti arms. I’m already looking for other things to clean! I’ve ordered white brushes & am looking at other types of brushes Drill Brush carries! I am just so pleased to have finally found something that works & am sold on the genuine Drill Brush brand!

Works great for cleaning showers and tub surfaces
Great brush attachment for my drill(s). This was purchase along with the Mini Size Original Drillbrush. The primary use of this brush is for cleaning our shower tub in our bathrooms. The 5″ diameter has enough surface area and easily attaches to the drill. No issues using this on the floor and walls of the shower. Be careful when getting it too close to a right angle surface when in use. The black body of the brush may bump against it and leave some black scuffs. Gentle bumps while spinning doesn’t really leave any marks and it’s not until you hit the sides with more force. Fortunately the marks were easily removed with the Mini Size Original Drillbrush. No complaints on its performance and satisfied with how it works. Unfortunately I only gave it four stars due to it being a but more than what I wanted to spend on something like this and due to the packaging. I ordered this with the Mini Size Original Drillbrush and both came inside a small box. The Mini Size Original Drillbrush came in it’s own packaging but this 5″ diameter brush was loose with no packaging of its own. It was tossed in with the package of the other brush inside the box and the box was sealed. This brush was pressed against the other item causing the bristles on the edge to bend inwards. About an inch of bristles were bent. Took some time to try to unbend them and now it’s barely noticeable.

Great, Inexpensive Solution to Getting Textured Tile Clean!
We have textured ceramic tile in the kitchen. Over the years dirt settled into the nooks and crannies and regular mopping never touched that dirt. I attached this to a corded drill and cleaned about 25 square feet of tile in less than 45 minutes. I used a mild cleaning solution applied with a sponge (squeezed it out so the surface was covered with it) and started cleaning. I found that it worked better with a wetter surface. It didn’t take much to make a huge difference. When I mopped with clear water I was shocked at how much dirt was in the water even though the floor is regularly mopped. I spent some time on the grout as well. The grout will require more time than I wanted to invest today but it’s clear the Drill Brush works like a charm. I will take a recent reviewer’s advice and run it in reverse next time. I angled the brush to maximize the impact on the grout and can see the bristles starting to form a swirl pattern. After I finish the kitchen, I’ll give this a try on our shower.

Excellent quality drill brush
I bought this to remove rather terrible carpet stains, and it has worked excellent for that task. I mixed up a mild solution of trisodium phosphate (the pure stuff, not savogran) and benzalkonium to pretreat the grease stains, then I hit them with the drill brush. In just a few seconds, the stain was completely gone. The cleaner does much or the work, but the drill brush makes the job significantly quicker and easier. It cleans very effectively, without damaging the fibers. Every year I pretreat any visible stains with my cleaning solution and drill brush before using a Bissell Big Green to shampoo the entire carpet to keep them looking new. Just be careful on delicate surfaces, as this brush may be a bit too harsh for them

The brush is easy to use
I bought this along with the Drill Brush Cordless Drill Power Scrubber, which I use for corners or hard to reach areas. I was going to go with the 4″ diameter, but felt the 5″ diameter brush would give me more coverage area. The brush is easy to use. I just put some Soft Soap on the fiberglass tub, rubbed the brush on it to spread it evenly and started to clean. I’ve used it only once but it has been durable so far — the other brush lost a bristle just a few minutes into cleaning. It has done a good job of scrubbing off soap scum, as well as other stains. I love that I can now work smarter and not harder. Highly recommend giving this a try if you are tired of scrubbing manually.

I like it, does what I needed. Good price so won’t bother me when I wear out the first one. So far keeping bristles well. I used it to scrub sailboat skid resistant fiberglass.

Used the yellow brush on my 2 throw rugs. You can’t put them into the washer so I have to clean them by hand. Really deep cleans and makes my job much easier.

Quality, but not the exact combinations I needed
Bought these for a myriad of different cleaning purposes – from cleaning wheels to my grill grates. Seem to be higher quality than the rest of the kits available on Amazon. The only issue is the exact combination of brushes I was looking for was not available. I overbought, but these should last a long while for what I need.
