Drill Press Stand For Hand Drill, Adjustable Bench Clamp
$24.88
Product Overview
This adjustable drill press stand is engineered to transform your handheld drilling experience by providing a stable, repeatable platform for precision work. Designed primarily for use with standard power drills, the stand securely clamps onto drills featuring a collar diameter of 43mm—and includes a reducing bush to accommodate 38mm models—making it versatile enough for both DIY enthusiasts and professionals. Constructed from high-strength aluminum alloy, the base offers exceptional durability while remaining lightweight enough for practical portability. The spindle stands at 400mm in height with a 25mm diameter, offering ample reach and rigidity for most benchtop applications. Whether you’re working in a home garage, workshop, or crafting space, this accessory delivers consistent performance with minimal vibration, enabling cleaner, more accurate holes than traditional hand-held methods.
Key Features
- High-Quality Aluminum Alloy Build: Crafted from premium-grade aluminum alloy for both the heavy-duty base and solid column bar, ensuring long-term resistance to wear, corrosion, and deformation under regular use.
- Enhanced Drilling Accuracy: Engineered to deliver superior concentricity and significantly reduce vibration during operation, resulting in straighter, cleaner holes compared to freehand drilling.
- Precise Depth Control: Equipped with an integrated depth adjustment scale and mechanical stop mechanism, allowing users to set and maintain exact drilling depths across multiple operations—ideal for repetitive tasks like installing brackets, assembling furniture, or creating uniform mounting holes.
- Universal Drill Compatibility: Fits any standard electric drill with a collar diameter of up to 43mm; the included reducing bush expands compatibility to 38mm drills, broadening its usability across a wide range of tool brands and models.
- Secure Workbench Mounting System: Features a robust 150 x 150 x 24 mm square base with pre-drilled mounting holes, enabling permanent or semi-permanent attachment to sturdy workbenches for maximum operational stability.
- Optimized Single-Hole Design: Intended specifically for single-hole positioning, making it ideal for applications requiring precise alignment without the need for multi-position flexibility.

Benefits & Use Cases
This drill press stand excels in environments where steady, controlled drilling is essential but heavy industrial machinery is unnecessary. Its construction makes it particularly well-suited for light to medium-duty tasks in residential garages, small workshops, or hobbyist spaces. Users gain significant advantages in consistency and safety: the stand eliminates hand tremors and tool slippage, reducing material damage and improving project outcomes. The built-in depth stop ensures every hole is drilled to the same specification—perfect for mounting hardware, aligning components, or replicating layouts across multiple pieces.
Common applications include woodworking projects such as cabinetry installation, metalworking with thin sheet materials, general maintenance repairs, and craft-based assembly tasks. While not intended for continuous high-load operations or large-scale production, it performs reliably for occasional professional or semi-professional use. The stand’s compact footprint also allows for easy storage when not in use, making it a practical addition to any toolkit focused on precision over power.
Important Notes
The package contents include one drill press stand and a user manual; assembly is required prior to first use. Please note that the movable hole has a diameter of 35 mm, which works best with fixed electric grinders or specific bead-style drill holes that demand high positional accuracy. Due to variations in drill concentricity among different models and individual operator technique, minor deviations of up to 1–3 mm may occur during use—particularly when using non-standard or mismatched tools. This model is designed strictly as a single-hole mount; if your project requires multiple drilling positions, please contact the seller directly for alternative configurations.
Manufacturing tolerances mean a margin of error between 1–3 mm is expected due to manual fabrication processes. Additionally, slight color differences between the actual product and online images may arise from lighting conditions and monitor calibration. These factors are within acceptable industry standards and should not impact functional performance when used as directed.

Works fine. Good Price
For the price, this is an excellent buy. I do small craft work so this is perfect. You don’t have to worry about the assembly instructions because they are totally graphic. No words. No language barrier. The only problem with it is stability. The base needs to be bolted down to work at its best.

Very low quantity materials – broke during assembly
The item description is misleading. It said it has a cast iron base. It does not. It’s aluminum. It broke during assembly while only applying moderate pressure tightening an hex bolt with the provided wrench, as shown in the picture. Do not buy this item.

Works okay after small flaws are addressed. Okay for the price.
Lever arm is too thick so that it interferes against the washer and bolt that is used to retain the lever and also to secure the head to the stand’s shaft. Resulting action is not smooth and you can see it is starting to wear.I think the supplied spring is way too strong. Might be ok with heavier drills but not for lightweight drills.Stand base is fairly light casting and seems to deflect when applying downward force to the lever at the handle. My guess is the product was originally designed for lighter lever and springs, but in trying to make it heavier duty, they made it worse. For my needs, I took out the original spring and added a piece of copper wire under the washer to address the shortcomings.Okay starting place for the price I paid.

Good for the money
I bought a Hyper Tough 5 amp 3/8 inch variable speed drill from Walmart which fits this stand. This stand is not for heavy duty projects, but is fine for light hobby work or repair jobs around the house. Adjustments are a little awkward but sufficient. The stand doesn’t take up much room, which is why I bought it.

Not worth having
Not stable, not sturdy, drill bits bend because it moves all over the place. Even if you screw the base down it just is not stable. Bug a real drill press and don’t waste your time and money with this one.

Functions as it should
was a bit skeptical due to pictures of these with broken collar rings… but was able to get my 120v drill seated in there gently prying open with a flathead, bolt lined up with threads and its mounted onto a piece of plywood and sitting on a table top currently. i lightly greased all moving parts minus the spring. have not put it in service for any thing yet but im sure its gonna drill a straight hole.

Will not work with common drills in the US
The drill stand is fine and might work with other drills, but both my Milwauki and Ryobe drills could not clamp into the drill holder. The only part of the drill that fits in the clamp is the part that spins, which obviously means the upper part of the drill needs to be in the clamp. A list of compatible drills needs to be posted in the listing.
