    Just amazing
By far the best pots and pans I’ve ever owned! Read all the reviews before purchasing, good and bad, but decided to give Duxtop a try.Since receiving this set I’ve used every pot and pan with no issue of anything sticking. From pan frying steaks, to steaming vegetables, and even breakfast, everything cooks evenly.Let them warm up on the stove while getting food prepared then add a little olive oil or butter (I use real butter, not margarine) and start cooking. The curve at the top allows you to pour liquids easily without spilling all over the place.Cleanup is easy and effortless as well. Let cool naturally before cleaning. You can wipe up oil and fond with a paper towel and discard to avoid pouring down the sink drain which would clog over time. If any fond seems stuck, just soak the pan in warm soupy water for thirty minutes to an hour then wash with a non abrasive sponge. I hand wash with warm soupy water then dry with a kitchen towel and put away in the cabinet. This is my first stainless steel clad cookware. These are heavy duty and I imagine they will last a lifetime if taken care of properly! This isn’t a promotional deal or review. I purchased this with my own money and felt like giving my honest opinion. Only thing I would complain about is it’s even cheaper today because of prime day which isn’t really an issue because this set is worth every penny!Great job Duxtop! Very pleased with the newest addition to my kitchen!

Duxtop Cookware . . . my thoughts and experience
This past September I purchased the Duxtop Cookware (hereinafter, “DCW”) for a condo in Miami, Florida. Up to this point, I have never owned stainless cookware, but had always purchased and used non-stick cookware, (T-Fal, Kitchen Aid, Etc.). I had been doing some research on Induction Cookware and was intrigued by the simplicity, low-external heat, energy and cost-saving properties of using an induction unit with cookware. So I began researching cookware.I went to the different stores that sell cookware (Penney’s, Target, Wal-Mart) and began looking at the stainless cookware that was rated for induction cooking. The amount of choices is overwhelming and I was weary of what I was finding. At the same time, I was looking at the induction units (a different review) and saw an ad on Amazon for the DCW. So I began looking at it and reading the reviews. After looking at the photos carefully and comparing the features to the cookware I was able to touch and feel, I made the decision to purchase the DCW. Simultaneously, I purchased the Duxtop 1800 Induction cooking unit.I HAVE BEEN AMAZED!!!!!When I received the cookware, I was so excited and elated that when i opened the box and made my inspection, the cookware was better than I had envisioned. For example, the handles aren’t flimsy like other brands and the cookware is somewhat heavy, has some mass to it, and high quality. Actually, the DCW is better than some of the expensive, name-brand stainless cookware in the marketplace today. For the most part, the review from the folks who were remodeling their kitchen complaining of the noise the cookware made – I find it actually unbelievable as I have never in my six months of using this cookware ever heard a sound when using it on my induction unit.It heats up so quickly and I use less heat to actually cook my food. And it cleans up so NICELY!!!!!If I had any instructions to anyone, it would be the following:1. NEVER PUT THESE IN THE DISHWASHER – You should always wash this cookware by hand. If you have to scrub something off the bottom, use the blue NON-SCRATCH scrubby sponges (not the GREEN/YELLOW ones) from Wal-mart. They are excellent and won’t scratch the surface.2. USE BARKEEPER’S FRIEND (found in Wal-Mart, Home Depot, Etc.) – this is your best choice for cleaning the bottoms of your DCW (as well as your stainless steel sinks). This stuff is amazing and after you use it awhile, you will find more uses for it. I always sprinkle some in the bottom of the pan after I was it thoroughly the first time and get all the little stains out that are sometimes left behind from cooking. TRUST ME! Cleaning this pans is not difficult at all. You just have to keep up with it.3. DON’T USE METAL UTENSILS – I only recommend you use wood or plastic cooking stuff with these pans. They won’t scratch the surfaces.About two weeks after we had bought the cookware, my college student daughter decided to heat up the leftover mac and cheese that was in the pan (put in the fridge the night before). She became distracted and the bottom of the pan was full of burned mac and cheese. Wouldn’t come out.I was angry (of course) but i maintained my composure and used it as a teaching moment without destroying her confidence. To put it another way, I was rather delicate in handling the matter and she responded well to the teaching.Anyways, I put water and soap in the pan and let it soak awhile. I scraped out what I could and then I put BarKeeper’s friend in the bottom of the pan along with some water and heated it up – letting it boil and soften up. I used a metal spatula to scrape the bottom of the pan and of course made scratches in the pan, but I learned my own lesson in doing that and am hoping my experience keeps you from doing the same.I love this cookware – I LOVE IT and wish they had bigger sets of it. I would buy this again IN A HEARTBEAT and have recommended this cookware to a lot of people.THIS COOKWARE IS FANTASTIC!!! Buy it and you will see what I mean.HIGH QUALITY COOKWARE. I Promise!Duxtop Whole-Clad Tri-Ply Stainless Steel Induction Ready Premium Cookware 10-Pc Set

Very Pleased With My Duxtop Cookware
I bought Duxtop Whole Clad cookware after realizing I had to get special pots to use with my NuWave induction cooktops. I researched induction cookware prices first and soon realized that what Amazon was charging ( $170 four months ago) was a bargain. I also read several reviews which made me feel that this would be quality cookware. The order came in a couple of days and I was very pleased. These pots are so shiny, beautiful and well made. I had Farberware pots that lasted me about three decades and those were good sturdy pots. There were also more pieces to the set than I realized. I don’t like to cook but couldn’t wait to use them and soon discovered they cook well and are easy to clean. One thing I must point out is they seem easy to scratch if they are cleaned with the scrubby side of a sponge. The scratches were very minor and showed more so when the pot was scoured in an up and down motion rather than around in the direction of the grooves. So noticing that after cleaning the first pot, I began using scratch free Comet when necessary which isn’t that often. When my son first used the induction system, he made pasta sauce. Not being familiar with how fast things heat up and how to control the heat, he wound up burning my new sauce pan. Of course I wasn’t happy about that but I decided to try an old trick. I boiled water in the pot which loosened the burned parts so that they could be poured out. I rubbed the small amount which remained with Comet and the pot looked as good as new.I like that the set came with a saute pan (which also has a short grip handle) and two fry pans and that the lids fit more than one pot/pan. The only other negative besides the scratching issue is in the design of the lids. The Farberware tops had a lip turned in and up that caught moisture when removing the top from the hot pot. These don’t have that lip so moisture drips off the lid as soon as it is removed. One would need to be careful if small children are around or when holding the lid over something you wouldn’t want to get wet. I have to remember to hold the lid over the pot for a few seconds. I read a review that said the handles get hot. I don’t know if that person used these on a regular stove but the long handles have never gotten hot during induction cooking. I haven’t used the large pot yet, which has the short grips at the top of the pot, so I can’t write about that. I also don’t think I’ll have to worry about periodic tightening of the handles like I did with my old pots because of they way these are made. I’m very glad I purchased the Duxtop cookware. I believe the set will last me another 30 years at least.

I am not happy with these. Just spent 20 minutes removing egg leftovers that were almost impossible to get out. Yesterday my bolognese also got burnt to a crisp in the bottom.
