I see some reviews and pictures on here and one of them used the wrong type of door. You NEED a door with at least a 3-1/2â wide side rail to the door, to mount the wheel hardware correctly. Iâve done many sliding and pivot barn doors and if you plan on a double set of doors, the wider rails help so the wheels donât hit the other set of doors. Take your time, get a right doors made for the thickness that they specify also (1-3/8â to 1-3/4â is standard, but check the specs) dealing with the pivot on the floor, make the doors sit 1/4â-3/8â off the floor. Measure from the door edge to the pivot point of the wheel above and also front to back. If the top and bottom pivots are aligned, the unit should operate easily. Lastly, when location for the base of the pivot on the floor, check to make sure your doors are parallel (evenly spaced) off the closed wall from top to bottom. Go easy and and you should be ok
