Product Overview

This 64″ bifold sliding barn door hardware track kit offers a modern, space-efficient solution for interior doors where traditional swinging doors aren’t practical. Designed for bi-fold doors measuring up to 15 inches wide each, this black steel hardware system enables smooth, quiet operation with minimal floor clearance. Ideal for closets, bedrooms, studies, laundry rooms, and small entryways, the kit transforms standard interior spaces by eliminating swing radius while adding a stylish industrial or farmhouse aesthetic. Built to last, it combines heavy-duty construction with precision engineering—ensuring reliable performance for years of daily use.

Superior Quality Materials & Engineering

Crafted from premium black heavy-duty steel, this hardware kit delivers exceptional strength and resistance to wear and corrosion. Unlike flimsy alternatives, every component is designed to endure repeated folding and sliding without bending or degrading. The roller assembly integrates high-quality bearings with durable nylon wheels, creating a seamless glide along the robust 6mm-thick steel track. This dual-layer design significantly increases load-bearing capacity and reduces friction, resulting in quieter movement and longer service life.

To validate long-term reliability, the entire system underwent rigorous testing—up to 120,000 operational cycles. This extensive durability test ensures consistent performance under real-world conditions, giving you peace of mind that your investment won’t fail after just a few months of use.

Smart Design for Modern Living

Unlike conventional single-panel doors that require ample wall space to open fully, the bifold configuration folds neatly into itself when opened. Two connected door panels pivot on central hinges and stack together, taking up only the width of one panel instead of swinging outward. This makes it perfect for narrow hallways, compact bathrooms, tiny apartments, or any room where every inch counts.

The matte black finish complements a wide range of interior styles—from rustic country homes to contemporary urban lofts. When installed correctly, the hardware creates a clean, finished look that enhances both functionality and visual appeal.

Complete Hardware Kit Included

This comprehensive package contains everything needed for a professional-grade installation (except the door itself). You’ll receive:

  • 2x 2.7-foot steel tracks – Total length supports a 64-inch door system (each track covers one side of the doorway)
  • 4x heavy-duty rollers – One per door panel corner for balanced support
  • 4x roller brackets – Secure mounting points attached directly to the door edges
  • 2x roller fixators – Stabilize the top rollers and prevent lateral sway
  • 5x adjustable spacers – Fine-tune alignment and ensure smooth track-to-track synchronization
  • 6x sturdy hinges – Connect the two door panels at their center joint
  • 2x floor guides – Keep doors centered and prevent twisting during movement
  • 1x sealing strip – Reduces noise and dust entry between stacked panels

All parts are pre-drilled and labeled for easy identification, streamlining the assembly process even for first-time DIYers.

Installation Made Simple

Installing your bifold barn door doesn’t require hiring contractors or spending extra on labor costs. The kit includes detailed, illustrated instructions with both text and images to walk you through each step. From marking wall studs to adjusting roller height and aligning tracks, the guide ensures accurate setup every time.

Key installation tips based on customer feedback:
– Measure carefully: Total track length should equal combined door widths plus ~4 inches (e.g., two 15″ doors = 30″ + 4″ = 34″ minimum track length)
– Use a level throughout—even minor tilt affects smooth operation
– Ensure door thickness falls within the 1-3/8″ to 1-3/4″ range for proper roller fitment
– Drill pilot holes to avoid splitting wood or damaging drywall

Basic tools like a drill, tape measure, level, and screwdriver are all you need. No special skills required!

Versatile Applications

This hardware excels in diverse settings beyond just closets:

  • Bathrooms: Eliminates swing conflicts in tight powder rooms
  • Laundry Rooms: Frees up space for appliances and storage
  • Studies/Nurseries: Quiet operation won’t disturb others
  • Dining Areas: Creates flexible room dividers without permanent walls
  • Storage Lockers: Industrial look suits workshops or garages

Many homeowners appreciate how easily it blends with existing décor while solving functional layout challenges.

Customer Feedback Highlights

Buyers consistently praise the product’s solid build quality and sleek appearance. Reviews highlight how the hardware looks great once installed, often becoming a focal point in the room. Users report satisfaction with the quiet rolling action and lack of wobble over time. The included components feel substantial compared to cheaper kits, and customers note that the instructions, though clear, benefit from double-checking measurements before cutting or drilling.

That said, opinions vary slightly on installation complexity—some find it straightforward, while others recommend reviewing multiple video tutorials beforehand. Fit can also depend on wall type (stud vs. drywall) and door material (solid wood vs. engineered panels). Always verify compatibility with your specific door dimensions and weight before purchase.

Important Notes Before Buying

  • The door is not included—you must purchase a compatible bi-fold door separately. Ensure its thickness matches the 1-3/8″–1-3/4″ specification.
  • Confirm total track length early: Add 4 inches to your door panels’ combined width to determine how many tracks (and feet) you need.
  • If your walls are concrete or brick, additional anchoring hardware may be required.
  • Professional customer support is available 24/7 for technical questions or troubleshooting—just contact us anytime via Amazon messaging.

    Very happy with it
The kit is perfect for what I was looking for. Quality parts and very study. I used 2 30×80 inch doors to cover a 58 inch opening. The 64 inch kit was perfect. Doors are 40lbs each. It took me longer measuring and planning than actually hanging and installing everything because tolerances were very tight and important….as my husband said, don’t mess up because you only get one shot 😀 I only needed his help with holding the rail pieces steady while I screwed in the middle bolt and lifting the doors to hang. I hoped I wouldn’t need the bottom pivot but the doors were wobbly and movement noisy without it. Once I installed the pivot, it’s incredibly steady, hangs straight and feels just right. Instructions are decent and I didn’t have any problems.

    Works and looks great.
Works great. Only 4 stars because instructions aren’t easy to understand. Wrong size drill bit given which would be disastrous if used.

    Look Elsewhere
It was more troublesome to put these up then it was to build the doors. Before I ordered this, I reached out to the seller to find out what size doors would be needed for the size track I was buying. They specified 17″ doors, so I went ahead and built 17″ doors. Then, I received the track to find that the instructions recommend 18″ doors. My second issue is that many of the screws were not properly milled, so they did not have the cross-hair indentation to fit the driver. They were simply flat on top. This required me to buy screws from the hardware store. My third issue was the horrible instructions. They were almost unusable. My fourth issue was a missing set screw, so I had to attach the stop with a single set screw instead of two. My fifth issue was the poor design overall, but especially in having to attach the rollers after the doors are up on the pins, which requires squeezing your hand in about two inches of space behind the railing to tighten the roller set screw. Overall, this product is a bloody mess. You can get a good final outcome, as I did, but expect it to take an entire day of frustration and make-shifting.

    Bifold Barn Door Hardware
I built some custom bifold doors for the closets in our attic bonus room. The hardware works great and easy to install. They are also strong enough to hold the weight of the doors which was an issue with other hardware I tried previously.

    Big Fold door hardware
The instructions suck better off figuring the measurements yourself. The conversions in the instructions from MM to inches are not correctInstructions show part “F” a long rod not in the box does not address the rod. There were an extra pack of bolts in the hardware , they were not addressed in the instructions.American instructions should take place of the crappie ones in the box.

Good quality. Heavy metal. This hardware is very good quality. Directions were clear and well thought out. The only issue I have is the wide gap that is visible. I wouldn’t mind a bit but I feel this is too much. I don’t know it it is a design flaw, maybe the mounts under the rail could be shorter, or if it has to be that far outin order to pivot. Anyway. It’s up and I do like it. If I were to buy a regular barn door hardware, I would definitely go with this brand.
