Crafted by Farberware—a brand with over a century of experience in reliable cookware—the Millennium series brings trusted construction and modern functionality together. Each piece is thoughtfully designed to handle common tasks like boiling, sautéing, simmering, and oven finishing, making it a versatile foundation for daily meal preparation. Whether you’re preparing a quick weeknight dinner or cooking a multi-course meal, this set supports consistent results thanks to its durable build and efficient heat management.

Key Features

  • Polished Stainless Steel Construction: The set features a sleek, mirror-like finish that enhances its visual appeal while offering excellent resistance to corrosion and wear. This material not only looks clean and modern but also maintains its appearance through regular use and washing.
  • Thick Aluminum Core with Fully Encapsulated Base: Every pot and pan base encloses a substantial aluminum core, which improves heat distribution across the entire cooking surface. This design helps prevent hot spots and supports more even browning, simmering, and reduction cooking—ideal for delicate sauces or searing proteins.
  • Universal Stovetop Compatibility: Thanks to their magnetic stainless steel bases, these pots and pans work safely on all stovetop types—including gas, electric, glass, and induction. This versatility makes them suitable regardless of your kitchen setup or future upgrades.
  • Oven Safe Up to 500°F: You can confidently transfer items directly from the stovetop to the oven at temperatures up to 500 degrees Fahrenheit. This feature adds convenience for recipes like lasagna, casseroles, or roasted vegetables that require finishing in the oven.
  • Dishwasher Safe: Cleaning is simplified with the dishwasher-safe design, allowing for quick and easy post-meal cleanup. While hand washing is always an option, the dishwasher compatibility saves time during busy days.

The encapsulated aluminum core ensures even heating, which is especially valuable when preparing foods that require precise temperature control, such as custards, caramel, or reductions. Users appreciate the sturdy feel and solid construction, noting that the pots and pans hold up well under daily wear and tear.

The universal stovetop compatibility means you won’t need separate cookware if you have an induction cooktop or plan to move between kitchens. The oven-safe capability further expands its utility—eliminating the need to transfer food from one dish to another when baking or roasting. This seamless transition between stovetop and oven enhances convenience and reduces mess.

Many customers find the balance of price, durability, and functionality makes this set a smart investment for routine meal prep. While some users note minor differences in perceived weight or heat responsiveness, overall feedback highlights satisfaction with the build quality and value. The polished finish and classic design also make it a stylish addition to any kitchen decor.

Important Notes

  • The set is intended for general household cooking and may not be suitable for high-volume or commercial kitchen environments.
  • Although oven-safe up to 500°F, always use proper oven mitts or pot holders when handling hot cookware to avoid burns.
  • While dishwasher safe, some users report that hand washing helps preserve the polished finish longer; this is optional and depends on personal preference and care habits.
  • Heat sensitivity and stickiness can vary based on usage, maintenance, and cooktop type. Proper seasoning (if applicable) and controlled heat levels help optimize performance.
  • Customer experiences differ slightly regarding weight and responsiveness; results may vary depending on individual expectations and cooking techniques.

    Good price and well made.
I have used this cookware. It is very nice looking, heavy enough to retain heat, lids fit well. The inside finish is more like a brushed finish, unlike farberware I had in the ’70’s. They clean up well. Food doesn’t necessarily stick, but the inside of two of the pans I’ve used have discolored on the inside after cooking meat.I had some very expensive waterless stainless steel cookware that also discolored from cooking beans and also spaghetti sauce. They were more polished on the inside too.The discoloration doesn’t bother me. It doesn’t effect the results of the finished item cooked. These new pans seem to be well made, they are heavier than other cookware I looked at before I bought this. I like the fact that it can go into the oven (even the glass lids to a lower degree than the pans).I do like to see things I buy. See, touch, feel, feel the weight, texture etc., but for the price, I took a chance. I knew if I didn’t care for the set that I could easily return it to Amazon. This set came at an excellent price. It does a very good job, it’s nice looking and well made.I’m happy with my purchase. The discoloration doesn’t bother me. It happens sometimes. Doesn’t effect the outcome of the meal. Chemical reactions can occur with any cookware. So, for the price, I’m just going to use and enjoy this cookware.I like the 1 and 2-quart pots and lids. I’m hoping I can find a 3-quart pot with lid to match. There is a 3-quart deep skillet with lid included in the set. I haven’t used it or the 5-qt. stock pot with lid yet.

    Quality Goods
I purchased this set of millennium stainless steel nonstick cookware to update/supplement my existing cookware, which had dwindled down to the last several pieces remaining from the same exact 10 piece Farberware set of the same variety, given to me over two decades ago as a housewarming gift for my first place when I moved away from home after graduating high school. Honestly, the only reasons I needed to replace components of the first set can be boiled down to youth and inexperience: some pieces were lost and one piece was damaged by the kind of abuse that a pan could only suffer at the hands of an unsupervised novice cook.My new set arrived glistening, well-packed, in pristine condition, and ready for action. Very little has changed in the design over 20 years, which means the new set can be easily blended with old; the old lids fit the new pans perfectly and vice versa. Faberware’s consistency also rings true for quality, as each piece is thoughtfully designed, well-constructed from solid materials, cooks evenly, cleans-up with ease, and displays nicely when in use and when racked. Guests who watch me cook almost always compliment my pans and those who use the pans themselves compliment them without fail.Addressing common complaints from negative reviews, these are like any other objects one can own – they require proper care for longevity. Read the instructions and warnings that come in the box. Common sense and I both recommend hand washing with soft sponge/dishrag only (no Brillo, etc), towel drying. Because low cupboards are places where so much is stored but so little patience is afforded, storing cookware on a rack is a great way to avoid clutter from banging them up. Also, despite what the video may say, metal utensils should never be used with nonstick cookware. This is a beautiful investment for any kitchen and a practical choice for every day use. Seeing my new and old pieces side-by-side shows how very well these pots, pans, and lids stand the test of time and explains why I’m unlikely to ever need to purchase another set of cookware for domestic purposes again. Highly satisfied.

Beautiful high end look for much smaller price.
I love these. I had been looking for a stainless set with a good nonstick and NO plastic (on handles, etc). Partly so the little-used pieces from a prior stainless/nonstick set (different brand) would still somewhat match, but mostly because I find the look classic so it never goes out of style. I also can’t stand exteriors that can’t take a good scrubbing or interiors that food sticks to and stains. Once I saw The Farberware Millennium set, I kept looking at reviews for it and it consistently got very high ratings on any site I looked. I decided this was the set for me and got a very good price on Amazon. Both the interior and exterior are very easy to care for. I can’t say anything bad about them. I expect this set to last me many many years and never go out of style.Update: I’ve now had this set about a year, and I absolutely love it. Although they state you can put them in the dishwasher, there are some items I’ve learned to NEVER put in a D/W — nonstick cookware and knives, besides things that will obviously melt or state not to. The harsh dishwasher detergent will “kill” a nonstick surface over time. The purpose of nonstick to make cleanup easy, and this is truly a swish with a sponge in warm soapy water, so there is very little time spent, and the dishwasher has much more room for plates, bakeware, etc. They are as shiny and nonstick as the day I got them. I also make sure to follow the instructions and not heat the pans on a high heat — they cook just great at a lower setting while preserving the nonstick surface. My husband and I use the small skillets for breakfast every day, and the one from an old (non-Farberware) set started peeling so we were down to only one. I got a Cuisinart skillet the same size, but no comparison, have now ordered another Farberware Millenium one. The price on that one piece was 1/3 of the cost of this 10-piece set! If you are wanting a stainless NONSTICK set, this one is EXCELLENT for the price!!!

    Great Cookware
Got these because me and my daughter always fight over our pan of the same brand. Great quality and a bang for your buck. Material is very durable and thick. Never had an issue cooking with them, food always turns out great.

Me encanta, cumple función, la agarre super barata y se siente la calidad. El diseño me parece algo que todos deberíamos tener en nuestra cocina si tenemos el hobbie de cocinar. Es un must para ir empezando en ésto.

They’re so great! I was worried as it’s more of an “affordable” option but I am not disappointed. They have a good weight to them and I’ve been using them for about a month and other than some expected staining, no other complaints. The medium pot size is a tad small and an odd shape but doesn’t affect anything.

The frying pan was smaller than I thought, but I’ve already got two big frying pans in my house, which was lucky for me. If you’re starting with this set, I hope you know about the size! The pots look cute and practical, and the logo on the floor is so pretty. It’s just right in weight and feels like it will last for a long time!It says it’s out of stock, but the delivery was very fast, too. Arrived the next day after receiving a notification that it’s started shipping. Highly recommend this product, it’s great for the price!
