Worth. Every. Penny.
I’ve waited a couple of months to review this desk and let me tell you, it’s been worth every penny.MATERIALS:The materials are solid â there’s no doubt about that. The shipping weight is 70 lbs., so you know the stuff in it is sturdy.ASSEMBLY:I assembled it by myself without power tools and it took me two and a half hours, mostly due to being extra careful not to scratch the hardwood with any of the pieces. This desk comes together pretty well. I recommend checking your work after every step as once you assemble the legs with the rest of the body, it becomes hard to make those adjustments without unassembling and tightening.FUNCTIONALITY:I use the height adjuster at least a couple of times every day and it runs smoothly every time. Very little noise and it takes 4 seconds to go from 27.5 “to 39.6″My advice if you’ve never used an adjustable desk â take your time figuring out a standing height that works for you. It might take a few days until you find one that feels seamless.AESTHETIC:I’m pleased with the Rustic Brown finish. It goes well with the floor I had installed in this room just weeks before getting the desk. The wood finish is smooth to the touch and I’ve spotted no imperfections. The storage is just a bonus â it’s not ample, but that’s why I liked it. It has just enough space to keep some small stuff on the side drawers and under the top slab. Super happy with it.

Super easy to move up and down
Bought this desk to help me not sit so much and it is very nice. Great quality and not too hard to put together. Just push a button and it moves up and down. You can also save your settings to automatically move to your sitting and standing height. Definitely worth the money. It also looks great.

Good value would buy again.
First off I just wanna say that the packaging was A+. I’ve ordered other cheaper kind of shelves from other brands that used styrofoam and ended up with chipped paint and even chips on the veneer. This desk came in a study box and they used really good foam (closed cell I think, the kind of stuff you’d get if you ordered a new prebuilt computer) not cheap styrofoam. Not a single dink on anything that I saw, nor were there any chips on the veneer.Pretty happy with this over all. Instructions were tough because there are a couple of pieces that need to be oriented in a certain way and the printed instruction don’t say which. Shortly after my troubles I saw a QR code on the side of the box with video instructions that were SUPER helpful (but slightly lacking in one area, specifically regarding the diagonal braces). R attaches to the right side leg (A I think) L attaches to left side leg (B) and the opposite side attaches to the main frame that holds desk.WISH they would have put that QR code on the printed manual from the start. Would recommend a hex bit for a cordless drill as well as magnetic drill bits. Once you begin to secure the desk to the frame, they have this plastic tube to help you guide the screws but it’s still not ideal. If you have a magnetic bit, should save you some trouble. If you do go cordless drill, make sure you set the torque to a weak level just so you can get roughly finger tight and then use the provided allen wrench to snug everything down.2025-01-07 update. I wish they would have provided a plastic gromit or something for the hole in the middle you’re supposed to feed your mouse and keyboard through. As it is, the edge for the hole cut out is pretty sharp so you’re going to end up cutting your mouse cord in no time if you don’t do something about it. I’d recommend maybe using some electrical tape or if you have a 3d printer, then make your own.

Itâs great, but the price is steep.
Iâll start by saying my experience with buying this desk was less than ideal and somewhat sours my value of the desk, despite a few caveats. This has no impact on my review, I just wish my circumstances turned out differently with it. Read this review at length if youâre interested. TLDR below.I purchased this desk after having it saved in my list for close to two months, maybe more, to scrounge up the money. It is/was one of the best reviewed desks at the price point, and I needed a good standing desk, so I figured itâs worth the cost. The day after I purchase it for full price, it goes on lightning deal for $288 and Amazon wouldnât throw me a bone on the difference. Coincidence, or unlucky shopping algorithm? Iâll let you decide. The desk itself Iâll say has lived up to about what I expected. After spending two hours of my evening building it with minimal hardship, I found it on-par with my expectations. The wood material is a cut above the average balsa/pressed particle wood youâd expect from most affordable furniture. Donât get me wrong, itâs not solid wood, but the build quality is solid. This includes the metal legs/frame materials and the hardware. The unit I received had no issues as far as screws lining up, threading, etc. Everything you need is included, minus a screwdriver with a Philips head, and some extra bolts to boot. Now, my main issues are two-fold. First, my keyboard tray is a bit on the stiff side. That will be great when the day comes to move the thing â it wonât slide out easily and whack walls on the way out. However, I had hoped it would be a smoother action on it. This is after quadruple-checking my installation was correct. Maybe with WD40 and some patience it will sort itself out over time. Itâs functional nonetheless. My second issue is with the included LED light strip. Perfectly fine on its own, but perhaps its time spent in a warehouse has deteriorated the adhesive on the back. I canât get this strip to stay put. Iâve used my DeWalt mini-clamps in an effort to give it some time to set, and still nothing. Iâm not committed enough to double-sided tape the darn thing, nor will I glue it or replace it with a new one. I shouldnât have to. I bought the desk for the desk, the lighting was just a nice option. The strip itself works wonderfully, is very bright, and will appeal to those of you looking for one. It shines off the rustic brown like a glass-top table. I really canât complain on that front. Keep in mind, you need to light the LED strip with a separate power source via standard USB connection.TLDR: Solid desk, but I would wait for a sale. As good as this desk is, and it met all my expectations, I canât honestly say itâs worth my $370+ after tax. I waited two months and never was offered a sale until after I purchased. Your mileage may vary on the keyboard tray stiffness and LED strip adhesive being cooperative. Other than that, the height adjustment/control works well and is as advertised. Materials are solid, hardware was lined up and cooperative. It was relatively easy to assemble, you just need to pay attention to the instructions for specific steps/hardware and you need a couple of hours if doing it alone. If I have issues, Iâll update my review.

I’m very impressed with this desk. I was really nervous buying a desk online as my monitor is heavy and I hate wobbly things. When I opened the box, each piece felt heavy, with smooth edges and a beautiful finish. All the different hardware accessories were in well identified packages (with extras of each). The instructions were minimalistic, but clear. It took me about 1.5 hours to put it together by myself, while listening to a podcast. All the pre-drilled holes were in the right place, all the pieces aligned perfectly, and all the screws went in smoothly and solidly. Most of the tools were included, the only additional tool needed was a standard phillips screwdriver. The desk is quite sturdy. Even with the wheels on and at the highest setting it doesn’t wobble when I type. The motor is very quiet, and super smooth. When going from one preset to another, it moves quickly but it slows down just before stopping so it’s perfectly smooth, even with a heavy monitor on it.If you’re using the wheels, you may find that the minimum height is a bit high. With wheels it’s 30.5″ and without it’s 28.5″. I’m 5’9″ and it’s just ok for me with the wheels. I’m using the wheels because I have a walking threadmill to the side, so I can move the desk from facing my chair to facing my threadmill easily. I love it! But if you’re shorter you may need a foot rest or something.I’m really happy I chose the 40″ wide with the two drawers, that gives me plenty of work space without taking up too much space in the room, and it’s easy to move. And the double deck allows me to have all my stuff neatly put away, but at my fingertips. I’m super happy with my purchase. In fact, I regret not buying it sooner!

There is no wheel out of the box, and controller had only 2 modes. But drawers and having 2 layers is something i was looking for to have clean setup. You cannot use arm on the back as c clamp is not enough to fit in 2 layersI had some issues with setup then contacted with seller and sorted out!In general it looks really nice and cozy. Very recommended.

Height adjustment button didnt work. Rather than picking it up and sending a replacement, they have sent me a label and forced me to pay for shipping it back. TERRIBLE SELLER.
