Key Features
- Rustic Spruce Wood Construction: Made from high-quality spruce wood prized for its beautiful texture, glossy surface finish, and resistance to rot. This material offers excellent toughness and flexibility, ensuring long-lasting performance in dry indoor environments while maintaining its natural beauty over time.
- Customizable Panel Layout: All wood panels are precision-cut with mitered edges for a seamless fit, giving you the creative freedom to position each plank according to your taste. This unique design allows for personalized aesthetics—whether you prefer symmetrical patterns, staggered gaps, or asymmetrical arrangements—ensuring your door reflects your individual style.
- Pre-Made Groove for Floor Guide: The bottom edge of the door features a pre-cut groove engineered specifically to integrate with the included floor guide. This feature simplifies installation and ensures stable, quiet movement along the track by preventing lateral sway and reducing wear on hardware components.
- Bidirectional Opening: The door can be installed to slide open on either side of the track by simply flipping its orientation. This flexibility makes it ideal for rooms where space is limited or where traffic flow varies depending on time of day or usage.
- Complete Hardware Kit: Every purchase includes everything needed for a full installation: a durable 6.6-foot steel track, two heavy-duty door hangers, five adjustable spacers for alignment, one center-floor guide, and one stylish pull handle. Benefits & Use Cases
Ideal for modern farmhouse, Scandinavian, industrial-chic, or rustic-inspired interiors, this barn door serves dual purposes—functionality and visual impact. Its sturdy spruce construction resists decay and environmental stressors common in dry indoor settings such as bedrooms, offices, studies, and dining areas. The ability to customize panel placement enables creative expression; you might choose evenly spaced slats for a clean look or intentionally leave gaps for light passage and air circulation. As a room separator, it effectively defines spaces without blocking natural light when open, preserving the sense of openness in larger homes. The included hardware ensures secure mounting on standard studs and smooth glide across the track, minimizing noise and mechanical fatigue over years of use.
The door’s natural spruce finish is stain-resistant, though periodic maintenance may be needed to preserve the rich grain and glossy appearance. Installation should be performed by someone comfortable using level, drill, screwdriver, and measuring tape—tools commonly found in most home workshops. Because spruce is a natural material, slight variations in color tone and wood grain may occur between panels, adding character rather than inconsistency. Before purchasing, confirm that your doorway opening exceeds the total required space: door width plus at least 2–3 inches on each side for smooth track clearance. While the kit includes all essential components, customers may need additional mounting hardware (e.g., screws longer than those provided) depending on their wall type or structural requirements.
Important Notes
This product is manufactured using responsibly harvested spruce from sustainably managed forests, supporting environmental stewardship and ethical sourcing standards. While the wood surface is naturally resistant to staining, exposure to moisture or prolonged sunlight could affect long-term appearance; therefore, it is recommended for interior use only. Regular cleaning with a soft cloth and mild cleaner helps maintain the glossy finish and prevents buildup. Minor dents or scratches can often be sanded out if desired, allowing for minor touch-ups without compromising structural integrity. Please note that due to the handmade nature of wood assembly and natural material variation, no two doors will be identical—this uniqueness contributes to its appeal as a one-of-a-kind accent piece.

Wonderful, stylish upgrade from a simple hinged door.
This was a pretty easy project to put together. Instructions for assembly was easy to understand, all parts were labeled accordingly, and there were no missing pieces or hardware. Really nice design, and the finished product came out great! Did it with no help, but one may need help in putting on the wooden header into the studs (not included), which the hardware is attached to, or hanging the finished door on the track. The door glides very quietly and easily, and the wood is solid and true. What a beautiful upgrade from a regular door going into the laundry room. The only drawback is the guide for the door must be mounted to the floor, and I have concrete under wood flooring, and did not have a concrete drill bit to attach it. Used double sided tape instead, which did the trick. Very happy with this purchase.

Easy, pretty & amazing!
We bought two doors and easily worth every penny. Price point is perfect. Assembly is easy, takes time but not a brain buster. We thought about just buying wood from Home Depot and doing it ourselves and after using this kit, I am sooooo happy we went this route. The wood is a good thickness and it comes with all the hardware you will need. I do recommend have a good set of tools like a drill and hammer so make the process faster. We also bought the door floor rollers it suggest for 9.99 and those work great! Wood comes unfinished but the stain we got from the hardware store was not expensive. The doors are the perfect thickness and are heavy duty. Not flimsy at all. Size fits my door opening perfectly !

Easy but not easy
WOW oh wow..dont think anyone has left a detailed review so here is mine. First the door was super easy to put together. You will need glue to help hold pieces for you so not to allow for too much movement of slats. Also a long phillips or a long drill bit for drill when assembling door. As for inserting dowel pins using a hammer…cover with a cloth or another piece of wood to hammer in the dowels so you don’t leave dents in the door. The boards on the outside are almost 2×4. The slats are not. They are about 1/2 inch thick…so your door isnt ALL 2 inches thick. Technically a 2×4 is not 2 inches thick either. Some of the boards in certain places would not take the stain. Bad spots in wood. Manufactures don’t have much control over that though when boards are made. DO make sure if using glue you do not allow glue to seep onto exposed boards that you plan on staining. Use a wet paper towel to wipe off any exposed glue or stain will not cover it..if you are staining. I used a water based stain. First time to use this and it was AWESOME. No odor and easy clean up and the stain went on perfectly. I used Varathane ESPRESSO color. I have always been a Minwax girl but this water based stain with that brand has many choices in colors that I like. Plus I shop at Home Depot and that’s what they carry. Its their brand. And it dries very fast and only took one coat.NOW the railing. SIGH. My first to do this so learn from me. I failed at it like 10 times. It was horrible. My measurements sucked…. A nightmare to say the least. I added the board which definitely gave it some support BUT..it also bumps the door out more and that I don’t like. The holes in rail would not line up with studs so I felt I had no choice. I THINK that the manufactures of the railing should add more holes all the way across so that people can drill into a stud and have a hole available. The way it is now is very limited. The instructions on the railing was a little bit confusing for me so i think that’s what messed me up.Now when I ordered this door and was waiting for it to arrive, I ripped off my old door framing cause it was in bad shape and I replaced the boards. I got another half inch out of the door. so instead 32, it is 32 1/2 in wide. NOT a big deal. I think they had it framed out and I framed it in more tight to stud to fit a door. ANYWAY with how the door sits, not close to framing due to overhead board holding rail..there is a gap…and I can see right around the side. Don’t like that either. I now FEEL…I needed to get the 36 inch wide door to cover those open areas. So what I did, i added 2x3s to each side of the door to make it wider. It will be a tighter fit with 2x3s due to the length of the rail but it works. I know they will fit.The door rolls very smooth and quiet. The metal door guide for floor requires me to drill holes in floor. I am not going to do that. SO NOW, I am having to purchase a separate guide that will screw into the wall instead. I am not putting holes in my tile floor. Also it requires that gap in the bottom of the door..which is fine but..if I am adding boards to the sides, I do not have a table saw or router to cut it..so a floor guide to screw into wall works better for me.So you may want to consider that when installing. I hope this review will help others to know what to expect.IMO, this was difficult on installing railing so doubt I will ever install another barn door. ugh. it was too much for me…..but it looks nice.UPDATE on an added note AFTER install. I think shorter spacers for railing when using the board above would remedy my issue. Although I had now added 2x3s to each side, I still would like to see it fit more snug. So I will look into purchasing shorter ones. Also due to me having limited wall space where the door is parked when open..it now does block the doorway 5-6 inches. Somewhat of an issue but not big enough to change it. It looks GREAT though when the door is closed. Door trim and everything is covered so all you see is a door and a wall..no door trim. See added boards in image with door closed.

Great product!
This door was everything we hoped for. It is great quality and easy to assemble and hang. The only suggestion I have is to have it come with a second handle to open from the inside. Looks great, works well, great value for the money.

Terrible product
This is not super hard to put together, but youâre better off, throwing the instructions away and just figuring it out on your own. Iâm 50 years old and these are the least useful instructions i have ever used. Also, the anchors that come with the door are so cheap and flimsy, they wonât hang the heavy door securely. The door Looks OK, but it is cheap for a reason. I would not buy again.
