The final product looks great. It is very sturdy and solidly built once assembled. I have lots of extra storage space now! But do be forewarned, as with all flat-pack furniture, this will arrive completely unassembled. And it’s not a quick and easy sort of assembly; you will be on your hands and knees for quite a while, getting up and down often. I’m a bit on the older side with serious autoimmune inflammatory arthritis. I hurt pretty good for a couple days after this project.I was a furniture maker myself for many years, so for me the assembly was fairly straight foward. The instruction are clear and thorough. But you assemble the headboard on the floor basically upside down and backwards. Even experienced as I am, I did put the smallest middle shelf upside down. And it is a lot of assembly! If this is your first time putting together flat-pack furniture . . . well, it’s not really a beginner’s project. Maybe order some new nightstands to go with your new bed and try those first. If you are completely new to this or have physical health issues like me, you might consider hiring someone to assemble this for you. But if you are too bullheaded and prideful like me, then I wish you the best of luck in your endeavors!It will also have to be assembled right where you want it to be. There’s not going to be any moving this about when it’s all done. But all in all, I think this was quite reasonably priced for what it is, especially as I bought it during the big spring sale. And I’m very satisfied with the end result.

Great storage. Easy assembly and clear parts organization. Very happy with product for MDF
The instructions were very clear, with good pictures and each step listing the total number of each screw needed. The parts are on a cardboard backed package with each type of screw isolated, labeled, total count, and stacked in order for a clear view and had a section of “extra parts”. This is a large piece of furniture by nature, but it was the easiest one I’ve assembled and wonder how people left some of the reviews that are listed. You have to be smarter than the bed frame I guess.. The MDF has a nice veneer (I accidentally tested the durability of it when I dropped an irrelevant heavy metal tool on it during assembly and didn’t leave any mark) and the headboard was reinforced adequately. It was feeling a bit wobbly until the step that added the back and metal frame to the bottom and my concerns were addressed in the one step. It’s sturdy and has a more storage than I expected. I didn’t use the under bed drawers. They don’t attach to the bed at all and just roll on the floor, an issue if it was carpet I would think).I feel this is a nice piece of furniture for china MDF internet crap. For almost $400 I would expect the drawers to be configured differently (I never intended to use them) but having them just be completely free doesn’t seem acceptable to me at that price point, especially if designed for a King and not just a kids room. Seems beyond cheap honestly. They have decent storage space if used.I have an adjustable base and the slats are not bearing any weight, so I can’t say if it’s quiet or durable. They are metal and seem stiffer than other beds I’ve bought with strips of plywood, I think it’s would be good as long as it didn’t make sound.Overall I bought it for the headboard storage and like the look of the footboard. I am happy with my purchase and 2 hour assembly.

Our 16 year old son went through a major growth spurt and his 6’0″ self no longer fits comfortably in his old twin bed, so we started looking for upgrades. After many back-and-forths over various other iterations of similar beds, we settled on this one for a few reasons:1. extra storage behind the padded headboard2. 51″ tall and 8″ deep headboard = lots of space – and a variety of space sizes3. headboard sides come up past the top shelf so nothing can be easily knocked off4. sturdy metal frame (no wooden slats)The bed arrived in one box (was incredibly heavy) and it took my husband and I 2.5 hours from start to finish, including clean-up. We’re pretty IKEA furniture savvy so we knew what to expect. All the parts were labeled well and the instructions were pretty good for “diagram only”. I agree with a previous poster that the padded headboard is best assembled with the headboard upright (instead of laying down as instructed). All materials are included but a drill with a philips and star head make it much faster. All the holes were well aligned and all the materials were without defect.The drawers are my only disappointment. I knew they were comically small (really was my only negative when compared to other beds – all had slightly bigger drawers) and they’re even more puny in person when compared to the space available. We may MacGyver something down the line but they’re fine for now. We love the bed and more importantly, my son loves the bed, so A+ all around!

Bought this in a full size for my 9yr old daughter. She absolutely loves it! It was easy to assemble, although I did have help from a 1yr old! It’s very sturdy! The led lights made it even better in her eyes! The drawers fit like they are suppose too. I wish they were all wood but they work for her. I was a bit skeptical because it was fairly cheap, but it was worth the money! Drawer rolled like they were suppose to, lights worked, definitely a bed I would recommend!
