The best GE motion sensitive and bright night light
Compared to their other taller motion sensitive nightlight, this one is superior in design and function. I returned the other model because it did not illuminate the area enough due to the slim edges of light and the inefficient design and placement of the plug far from the unit’s edge only allows for one unit to be plugged in per double outlet. This model is shorter and the plug is closer to the edge which allows another appliance to be plugged into the other wall outlet. This light is bright enough at night to even brush your teeth without needing to turn on the bathroom light switch and it stays lit as long as you are moving in front of it. The bedroom area is also safer to walk through without turning on the light switch at night and will turn off when it no longer senses movement.

Motion sensor! Perfect for a dark hallway.
This is exactly what I was looking for! I have a dark hallway that I only wanted a motion light for! Not a “nightlight”. Works great and the warm white light is not blinding.

Bright Light
This is a really good light, the motion sensor is very sensitive, just moving my hand from 10’ away turns it on. I use this as a night light in my bedroom from visits to the bathroom in the middle of the night, it works perfectly. My only criticism is that it’s brighter than I would prefer. It’s bright. If it had a hi/low switch it would be 5+ star.12-5-2023 UpdateI ordered the 20 lumen version of this light, the light output is much better (less bright) for bedroom use. It does have a quality issue however: when it senses motion and turns on, it stays on from maybe 5 seconds, up to 30 seconds. Not really a big deal, but I would prefer a consistent on-time.

Good Motion Sensor; Very Bright
We purchased this so our older dog, who has begun having trouble with nighttime vision, will have light when she wakes up at night. It works very well for that, and detects her movements well (she is small). The only issue for us is that it is so bright it wakes us up. We noticed that the product listed it was Very Bright. We weren’t sure what that meant. Now that we know, we will move these to the hallways, and purchase one that has a fewer lumens for the bedroom.

I purchased the 2 pack, one for the bathroom and one for the bedroom. They turn on instantly whenever there is any movement at night. I bought the bedroom one to put close to the floor to help my little dog (and myself) navigate in the dark and it’s a great help. I did find them too bright for what I wanted however but I put some LightDims light dimming sheets over the light and now they are perfect. I had purchased the LightDims originally to put over digital clock displays that were excessively bright, they work great and are easy to apply. All in all I am totally satisfied with this product so far.
