Stable and cozy bed
My 13-year old daughter’s metal frame bed was squeaking and narrow because of all her stuffed animals. I saw this bed for a decent price and liked that it has a trundle because that’s good for sleepovers as well as storing all the clothes on her floor that she never puts away. I’m going to put some plywood or something on the slats and then she can just shove her clothes in there and it’s almost like being on the floor but then it’s not a tripping hazard. That being said, assembling the bed was pretty straightforward if you have experience with building other furniture. It’s important to pay attention to the letters on each piece as well as the letters and numbers on the bags of hardware. And only take out what you are building at that moment and leave the rest in the box. That kept it pretty organized for me. It’s also important to pay close attention to the orientation and direction of each piece and make sure you get inside and outside correct and up and down. It’s not hard but it takes some attention to detail.However, I was able to build it in about 3 hours total over 2 days. I did the trundle and the attached shelf at the end of the bed. Second. It is very stable to sleep on and my favorite thing about it is that it’s cozy with the shelves around. My daughter puts everything all over the floor and her bedside table and now she has plenty of room to put her book and charge for Chromebook and her ear plugs and her eye mask and there’s even room for her monkey and giant caterpillar. So time will tell. The materials are standard press board but it’s designed well. Seems stable and will definitely get her through probably the rest of her teenage years so, so far so good. If anything goes awry I will come back and update this post.TL;DR it’s a good, stable, cozy bed. Perfect for a teenage girl who has lots of little treasures that she wants to keep near her when she sleeps

Exactly what we want
The bad frame has a lot of space for storage, and the best thing is it comes with the trundle under the bed. It did take a while to assemble, but I think it’s worth the time. It’s exactly what we want and looks great in the room.
