So fun and beautiful
I have a lot of unique lighting, I finally graduated from old school string lights to led lights a few years ago, but this is the next step. I have led lights on one side of my room but I wanted a more ambient light without specific bulbs. THIS IS IT. I love it. I followed all advice I read and use the screws to install it, I did not even bother with the sticky part, especially as I wanted it at my ceiling. It is so pretty and fun to choose different colors and scenes. I believe there are other led lighting brand apps that are a little easier to use and more straightforward, but once you poke around the app, it’s fine. The 9.8′ length was also great for one side of my room.

Great lights.
I love these lights, though I didn’t follow the instructions at first and had to put them up a second time.It says to actually mount them if your using them in the upper corners of a room, I originally didn’t and the sticky pads failed after about two weeks.But it came with mounting equipment and it wasn’t hard to fix it in the end. Guess that’s what I get for being lazy.Quality is great, and they can get really bright if you want them to.Only issue is some of the preprogrammed color animations seem to leave blank white spots, but when I customize it myself it works fine.

Good (angled!) RGB strip, but with odd mounting issues
The RGB Strip itself:- Looks good! and the angled design makes it fit perfectly along the edges of a room.- Integrated into HomeAssistant using the Matter plugin, but this results in some features (patterns and effects) not being available, which is a bit disappointing.- At lower brightness, the individual segments are visible, but it’s not distractingInstallation:Installed this in my bedroom using the provided clips / adhesive strips.Normally, I wouldn’t trust adhesives with these sorts of products, but it seemed to be (actually) name brand, and pretty substantial.Installation was pretty easy, and mounting seemed stable – until I came back from a trip after a few weeks. The entire strip had fallen, but rather than the adhesive coming detached from my wall, it had, in most cases, came detached from the plastic clip. It seems that the lack of any surface texture on the plastic clips didn’t create a good bond, and resulted in detachment.After reinstalling with screws, have not had any further issues!

Great performance
I didn’t like that I couldn’t connect it to SmartThings with Matter, but I have since moved on from SmartThings anyway. The Govee Neon integrated well with Homey Pro 2023 and the Homey Govee App. I like the intense, bright colors in this rope light. I installed it on top of kitchen cabinets and the bounce lighting is great.

Doesn’t stay on wall
The product itself looks pretty and the lights are bright. A lot of patterns in the Govee app which is very user friendly. I usually love Govee products but this one is a major miss because the adhesive straight up does not stick on the wall unfortunately. I wish they would have put the adhesive directly on the light strip like their other products. The adhesive fell immediately and I could not use it at all.

I needed something that would give my bathtub. A better affect, I dropped a pair of these back behind it against the wall, now every time I come into my bathroom, I get a special feeling. These lights are perfect the clips it comes with for the walls are not the best but it works. Really easy to install and the Govee app is amazing with these lights. Great purchase I would recommend

This was installed between ceiling and wall. The clear support pieces are almost unnoticeable. Installation would take some time since anchors and screws are required but the end result is very satisfactory.While one strip light would not be bright enough to light up the room by itself, having it with other lighting fixtures such as lamps does give a very unique and pleasing atomsphere to the room.
