Key Features
- Tri-Ply Construction: The three-layer design features two layers of stainless steel bonded around a responsive aluminum core. This ensures rapid and even heat distribution across the entire cooking surface, eliminating hot spots that can lead to uneven browning or burning.
- Diamond-Enhanced Ceramic Nonstick Coating: Infused with real diamond particles, this proprietary coating provides exceptional durability and superior nonstick performance. It’s designed to withstand metal utensils without scratching, allowing you to cook confidently without fear of damaging the surface.
- PFAS & PFOA-Free Formulation: All components in the Chatham set are certified free from perfluorinated compounds commonly found in traditional nonstick coatings. This reduces exposure to potentially harmful substances during cooking, supporting safer meal preparation.
- Induction Compatible: Thanks to its full magnetic stainless steel base, this cookware works efficiently with induction stovetops as well as gas, electric, and glass-top ranges.
- Dishwasher Safe: While convenient for quick cleanups, hand washing with mild soap is advised to preserve the longevity of the ceramic nonstick layer.
- Oven & Broiler Safe: Each piece can be safely used in ovens up to 600°F (315°C) and under broilers, enabling direct transfer from stovetop to oven for recipes like casseroles, roasted vegetables, or baked proteins.
- Includes Matching Lids: Every pot and pan comes with a tempered glass lid featuring a vented center and stainless steel rims. These lids help retain heat and moisture, speeding up cooking times and enhancing flavor retention.

Benefits & Use Cases
The GreenPan Chatham Cookware Set excels in real-world kitchen scenarios where consistency and ease matter. The tri-ply structure ensures that heat spreads evenly from edge to edge—ideal for tasks like making hollandaise sauce, where precise temperature control prevents curdling, or frying delicate fish fillets that require gentle handling. The diamond-infused nonstick surface allows you to cook eggs, pancakes, or stir-fries without added fats, promoting lighter meals without sacrificing taste.
One of the standout advantages is the ability to move dishes straight from stovetop to oven. Imagine searing chicken breasts in the frying pan, then sliding it into the oven to finish cooking while you prepare sides—this feature saves time and simplifies multi-step recipes. The included lids not only speed up cooking but also help build rich flavors by trapping steam and aromatics inside the pot.
For families or meal prep enthusiasts, the variety within the 12-piece set means you’re covered for nearly any dish: from a large stockpot for soups to smaller saucepans for reductions, and even a sauté pan perfect for daily stir-fries. The sturdy handles stay cool during typical cooking sessions, and the balanced weight makes lifting and turning easy—even when full.

While many users report satisfaction with how well the pans perform and appreciate the quality of the lids, some note that expectations around value versus price point may vary. A few customers mention mixed experiences regarding stickiness and responsiveness to temperature changes, suggesting that proper preheating (as recommended by the manufacturer) yields the best results. Following care instructions—such as allowing pans to cool before washing and avoiding abrasive sponges—can help maintain optimal performance over time.
This set is particularly suitable for those transitioning away from older nonstick cookware due to health concerns about chemical leaching. With its clean ingredient profile and robust construction, the Chatham line offers peace of mind alongside everyday convenience.

In summary, the GreenPan Chatham Tri-Ply Stainless Steel Healthy Ceramic Nonstick 12 Piece Cookware Set delivers a blend of innovation, safety, and practicality. Whether you’re upgrading your current cookware or building your first complete kitchen collection, this set supports a wide range of culinary techniques with dependable results. Designed for modern kitchens, it balances professional-grade features with user-friendly operation—making it a solid choice for cooks who prioritize both performance and wellbeing.

WORK WELL
THE POTS AND PANS ARE HEAVYISH AND THE HANDLES GET HOT SO YOU NEED SLIP ON COVERS. BUT the pans tri-ply may be a little heavier than my old non tri-ply but they heat even and can be put in the oven. The cooking surface clean every easy. The tri-ply also holds the heat well which means you can cook on a lower flame and on some things finish faster. You will need to get use to them but then you have to do that with any new cookware. I like them a lot.

Best pans
We recently bought an induction stove. Our old cookware did not meet the standards for using this new stove, which is they have to be magnetic. This set fits the requirement. We had a frying pan of this label but it still wasn’t’ designed for induction, which needs that different layer to make it magnetic. This set is great. Heats fast, well-distributed heat. Heavy, good quality. Love the lids. You still have to use wood or plastic utensils. They’re not iron ok. And you still need to use oil, they’re not teflon, so know what you’re getting. They’re still pretty non-stick if you take care of them. If you can live with these features you’ll love these pans. Well worth the money. Some of the other reviews complained about food burning, I think that mostly falls on the cook. LOL.

Great starter/basic set
Look great, work great. Wish there was one more sauce pan, either larger or smaller to go with the two that came in the set.

Good quality but handles get hot
Overall I am pleased with these pans. I like the stainless steel and I’m hoping that the non-stick interiors hold up. Would have liked the handles to have some sort of heat proof grip on them that could sustain high heat. Even removable grips for if you wanted to put them in the oven would be better than what they have

Worst pans ever and money wasted. JUNK!
After a few months these pans are…..junk, the worst pans we have EVER bought! EVERYTHING sticks to them. Medium and low heat, used always with oils or butter still sticks, burns and washing it off is a nightmare. Will never buy this brand again. Want my money back!!

Decent set
Had an extremely hard time finding nonstick alternatives for induction cooktop and ended up purchasing these as the best alternative I could find. From a cooking standpoint they do fine⦠nonstick is fabulous, heat transfer/distribution is sufficient/good. They just arenât designed very well/ergonomically. Theyâre on the heavy side, and balance between handle and pan is not considered like it is in the design of some of the higher end cookware makers. Iâll stick with them as I really donât have any other nonstick induction options.

The best pots and pans set Iâve ever have
Non stick works excellent as long as you use low to mid heat.
