Takes a while to flatten out. But good fiber and print quality.
This is not my first thin carpet, designed to be machine washable. This one is substantially better than my first one however. This carpet has a higher quality print job; the ink penetrated deeper into the fibers. Others seem to be very superficial. The seam around the edge is tight and without any loose threads. That’s actually kind of rare. The last thing I really enjoyed about this carpet is the backing. It has a clear rubber coating to stop it from sliding.It came shipped as a folded carpet, much like bed sheets. So you save on the packaging and shipping. However, it took a week to start flattening out. I have learned that you can machine wash these, but definitely line-dry them to avoid weird warping. You probably could tumble dry it, if done really carefully, but why risk it. My previous carpet suffered the consequences. I’d avoid washing until nessesary for maximum life-span. It’s soft under my feet, and my desk chair rolls on it really easily. I would reccomend this particular brand over others for the quality reasons I mentioned above.

Nice, with limitations
This is a nice âvalueâ type area rug. I think the image is painted on versus dyed on as it does not hold up to any sort of abuse. No liquids and vacuuming is nearly impossible. If you are looking for a more âdisposableâ type area rug that you plan to throw away when it gets dirty, then this is just what you are after. Works great for that purpose, but not high quality by any means.

Large and soft!
I think this is an absolutely wonderful rug for the price. Even though it is very thin, it is super soft. I have this rug under my desk in the office, and I really love the coloring and the design.Everyone who has sat at my desk has mentioned how soft the rug is under their feet.For the price, I think itâs a great deal⦠just a heads up, it did come folded, but it flattened out by the end of the week.As for cleaning- I did spill a little bit of yogurt on the rug, and it cleaned up really well with a wet rag. I think this is a great quality rug, and I expected to last quite a long time.

I picked this rug up as a gift for my father who absolutely loves Fleur-de-lis. The HOMBYS 5×7 Vintage rug looks perfect at the foot of their bed. It wonderfully fits the decor of their master bedroom which is French-themed with touches of Fleur-de-lis here and there. It’s quite a thin rug with an amazingly soft textured top that makes walking barefoot on it feel like a dream.Overall, if you’re looking for a new rug and you’ve got a thing for the French Fleur-de-lis, then I’d strongly suggest considering this HOMBYS 5×7 Vintage area rug!

Interesting
I was surprised at how much I liked this rug. The colors are so different and very striking. It all works though. I dropped a star because the rug isnât very soft. Itâs not a flat printed rug but itâs the next step up. Thereâs literally no nap to the rug so if softness is an issue , this isnât the rug for you. But the colors! Exquisite! Feels well made and sturdy.

This rug was the perfect addition to my den. It looks lovely fire side. It is thin, and has no pile. The printing and the detail is clear and crisp. Remaining wrinkles disappeared after first wash. I wash on gentle and line dry.

Great value unless you want a soft rug
Kudos to the makers for NOT saying this is a soft rug. It isnât. I would describe it as very slightly rough. But softness isnât everything. If you are seeking a vintage look on a budget, this rug is a very good choice. It comes with some handy advice about care, and it is very easy to get flat. This may sound ridiculous, but a lot of rugs arrive so badly folded they take weeks to lay evenly. This one, for whatever reason, is the very model of neat folding, and consequently looked at its best within hours of laying it. My thanks to whoever does the folding at the factory.
