Benefits & Use Cases
This daybed is especially well-suited for individuals seeking efficient use of limited square footage. In studio apartments or urban homes where every inch counts, the dual-purpose design eliminates the need for separate furniture pieces like sofa beds or guest mattresses. During the day, the Adra daybed serves as a stylish and comfortable lounger—perfect for reading, watching TV, or relaxing after work. At night, it transforms into a twin-sized bed ready to welcome family or friends.
The pull-out trundle is particularly valuable for those who occasionally host visitors. Instead of scrambling to find a spare mattress or rearranging existing furniture, the built-in trundle offers instant extra sleeping space right where you need it. This feature also helps maintain a clutter-free environment, keeping unused bedding neatly concealed until needed.
Thanks to its easy-to-clean vinyl surface, the daybed performs well in households with children or pets. Spills can be wiped away quickly, and the material resists scratches and fading over time. Additionally, the neutral dark brown tone pairs beautifully with various color schemes and decor styles, from monochrome minimalism to earthy, organic themes.
Practical Considerations
Before purchasing, note that assembly is required upon delivery. The set arrives in two boxes, so ensure you have adequate space and tools (typically included) for setup. Some customers have reported minor issues with missing hardware—though this isn’t universal—so we recommend checking all parts against the instruction manual before beginning assembly. While most users find the build sturdy and the overall quality satisfactory, experiences vary slightly when it comes to fit and alignment of components.
A twin-sized mattress must be purchased separately to fully utilize the daybed or trundle. We suggest selecting a foam or hybrid mattress no thicker than 10 inches to avoid compromising the trundle mechanism or overall comfort.
As with any indoor furniture, prolonged exposure to direct sunlight or extreme humidity should be avoided to preserve the integrity of the vinyl finish and prevent discoloration or cracking.
Design Aesthetic & Styling Tips
The Homelegance Adra daybed makes a striking focal point in modern bedrooms, guest suites, or living areas. Its track arms and plush frame echo mid-century and contemporary influences, offering visual warmth without excessive ornamentation. To enhance the room’s ambiance, pair it with metallic accents like brass or blackened steel lighting fixtures, geometric rugs, and curated art prints.
In smaller spaces, consider placing the daybed perpendicular to a wall to maximize floor visibility and airflow. Add throw pillows and a lightweight blanket for texture and coziness during daytime use. When preparing for guests, simply pull out the trundle, add fresh linens, and the space instantly becomes functional and inviting.

Excellent Purchase
I love this bed; its larger than I expected (which is good), very well made and looks awesome in my 6 yr. old daughter’s bedroom. There was no damage to any of the materials and the packaging was well done to support the trip to our front door. We did not have any problems putting it together! It had plenty of hardware and even though some of the pre-made marks may not have lined up to a “T”, it wasn’t anything we couldn’t figure out ourselves… perhaps some people need to learn how to use tools!

Easy to build, beautiful look
Very easy to build – just follow the instructions. Took about 2 hours, between me and my friend, with breaks to do laundry and work. So definitely not difficult to put together. Everything was there, all was in perfect condition, no scratches whatsoever. We did have to drill holes for the wheels by the pull-out bed, but we’re not incompetent females – it’s fairly easy. The bed looks beautiful, and fits perfectly with the room. It adds a very clean look, and I’m really happy with it!

Great for price, just get 6 or 8 inch mattresses and plan in time for late delivery and off-gassing
Ok Iâm on day three post bed building. One box arrived on time, the other late. Easy to assemble (even with my two and four year olds running around) aside from one bolt in the corner of the trundle had no threads so I drilled a wood screw in place of that bolt as a connector. No biggie. The bed and slats are off-gassing a lot, so I have the window cracked. So if you order this bed, maybe plan for extra time for delivery and a few days for off-gassing. I would also make sure you place the back frame against a wall, because that back frame is not sturdy- like in other reviews, Iâm pretty sure it would snap in half if stood upon by an adult. But my kids love it so far! Itâs definitely a cheap bed but just right for us for the price. Oh, and I ordered an eight and a 10 inch memory foam mattress. The ten inch did NOT fit on the top bed (too tall) but I switched out my kids other mattresses, and an eight inch worked just fine. As for the trundle, the 8 inch came up over the edges by an inch but it still fits under the top bed (even with the quilt) and blankets, and I kind a like that the edges aren’t exposed. If I had more money, I wouldâve bought a bed that had real hard wood for everything, not mdf, but again this is great for the price and does its job well!

Purchase with caution! Not durable!
If I could give this no stars I would! We purchased this for my mother in law and at first it was good she slept comfortable and (mind you this was only used to sleep no one was jumping or throwing themselves) then maybe 3-4months in the pain support beam broke in half. We called amazon at first to see if we could get a replacement part do to the fact the my mother in law loved the style and look of the bed. They put us through to the manufacture to get a replacement part. We had to contact them via email and send pictures of the damage and it took about 2wks for them to investigate and see if we were eligible for a replacement part and then another week to get the replacement part. We replaced the part and here we are two months later and the support beam broke again! The bed itâs self is pretty but itâs made poorly, the support beam should be made sturdy maybe add a metal bar to the support beam. The bed is made of what it seems to be compressed wood. The main support areas of the bed should be made better! In all amazon was able to return us our money but in return we have to send the bed back.

A headache for the price
Overall, I like this product as a finished item. However, the setup was not easy. I was sent improper hardware so I had to make due with what I was given. I was given too many of one type of screw and not enough of the other, making it difficult to finish the project. The markings designed to help with setup were marked with permanent marker and nothing was even. The pieces that are used as the sides are stapled on the bottom to keep the material on it and half of the staples were missing. It was messy and ugly and thankfully is sitting on the floor, so it isn’t visible. For an item that is almost $300, I expected better.

GREAT TRUNDLE BED
Bought this for our spare room. Very sturdy for both adults and kids/teens. Husband put it together in a couple of hours – but he is quite the handyman, so may take some people a bit longer to put together.Like the looks of it, too. Looks like real leather. One thing though…. Definitely urge kids not to be jumping on it, because too much jumping and it could break the wood slats.I would recommend this trundle bed for a spare room for guests.

Just a little short
We would love to give 5 stars, but the wood slats for the main bed are about an inch too short. 3 of the slats are split/ dry rotted. If I hadn’t already put half of the beds together, i would have sent this back. Instead, I will buy a piece of pressboard or plywood and put it in place of the slats on both beds. Everything else about the bed, we love. Looks very nice, not sure how well it will hold up with kids.We will update as needed

Ideal daybed to complete any room in the house
After much research and reading all the reviews it’s time for me to post my own. Upon receiving the bed I did a full inventory of all the parts and pieces. Everything was intact and ready to put together. Once I got the bed together, I conducted a weight test to see how it would hold up. I’m 6’1 And 230 lbs and it held up quite nicely. So I proceeded to the trundle and did the same thing. And it held up as well. To add more support for the top bed, I would recommend getting a twin bunkie board and lay it down prior to laying the mattress on top. The material is extremely easy to maintain and accessorizing it is fairly easy as well. As your can see from the pictures of will fit in any room and you would not be disappointed.I would like to note that I did not get paid for this review I am a genuine customer submitting this review.
