Replaced an existing ceiling fan with poor light with this one. Nice upgrade.Pros:âThe three blades look coolâ The three blades are wide and put out as much breeze as five-bladed fans, if not more.âThe remote is easy to useâThe remote has a cradle that you can mount over your wall light switch so you can just use the remote as a wall switch for both light and fan if you prefer.âThe light DOES dim. Just hold down the light button.âPuts out good light; comes with two LED light bulbs (standard base) that can be replaced. Easy Installation, Quiet and Good Fan
When we purchased our house 16 years ago we bought and installed a Hunter fan with a light in our bedroom. This was a great fan that was quiet and worked really well for us for 16 years until last week when I went to turn on the fan and the pull chain snapped off. We discovered the entire fan would need to be taken apart to fix a 15 cent chain. We decided to upgrade to a more modern style Hunter fan with a remote. I was a little nervous about the installation, but this fan went up in less than 20 minutes. There was one washer and bolt that attach the fan to the electrical box missing from the box, but we just used the hardware from the old Hunter fan. If we were putting up a brand new fan, this would have been more of a problem. We also noticed that Hunter really does assume that homeowners have a lot of tools laying around. We have been homeowners for many years, so our tool collection is fairly extensive, but a new homeowner might find themselves without a necessary tool. The fan is very modern and updated our bedroom nicely. Like our previous Hunter fan it is super quiet and gives us a very nice breeze. We used the bulbs that came in the box and the light is plenty bright. We love having the remote control and I will be ordering an additional remote from Hunter.

Love this fan!
Beautiful fan. It works well and puts out a good amount of air. The light is pretty bright and dimmed. I hung it on a 12 inch extender and it works well except for on high where it wobbles just a little. I can use the light switch on the wall for the light and the remote for the fan, which is perfect for me. Totally recommend.

Great fan minor gripes
I bought this fan for my living room and have been fairly impressed with its quality functionality and style. I have had some small issues. For the first month but I had it installed the light would randomly dim and then come back up about every 15 minutes. Since then I have not had that issue I’m not sure if it was a controller issue or receiver issue or my light bulbs. The second issue I have is the remote is ugly! It’s brown and doesn’t match anything on the fan I really wish they would have made this remote black. Third issue is the glass cover for the lights, due to the color of the glass it changes the color of any light that you put in there. I would say the best description is that it just dulls the light. I’m a fan of the 4K lights (daylight) and it seems to bring that value down. Now the good stuff is it’s extremely quiet, you can program universal remotes with it or wall-mounted controls, one of the few fans that has a grayish blade, very modern not without being over the top, right out of the box the fan seem to be balanced well, construction seems to be top notch, you can program more than one remote, blades are reversible. Overall I would give this fan a 9 out of 10. And as a side note my biggest gripe is just the price point I feel like this fan should be in the $140 to $150.

Works great…eventually
Recently purchased and had installed the 52″ brushed nickel Hunter fan and light. I also purchased the extension rod as it was to be mounted in the kitvchen on a slanted ceiling. The brushed nickel looks great with the stainless steel appliances. The fan blades comes with one side brown and the other side grey. Again the grey is a nice accent in the kitchen. The fan has three speeds and all speeds perform well. Now to the light. The light and fan operate off of a remote control. The light is dimable, with two 9 watt LED bulbs (60 watt equivalent). The light it gives off is adequat at the highest level. If you remove the light cover, you will see a label that states that the fixture will accomadate up to two 14 watt LED bulbs. I purchased two 12.2 watt Philips LED (75 watt equivalent) bulbs and installed them. The results were much more to my liking. Now to the problem. After the electrician had installed the light, I found that every 5 to 15 minutes the light would shut off and come back on, all in a split second. Pretty annoying. I contacted Hunter customer service through email ( the phone wait goes on for ever – they answered my email in about 5 hours). They told me to deactivate the remote and then to activate it. The process for both is the same. First turn the light off using your remote, for 5 seconds, and then turn it back on. Then press and hold the fan button, while still holding the fan button, quickly press the light button 2 times. The dimming feature is now deactivated. You then follow the same process to reactivate the remote. The intermittent off and on of the light should now be fixed. I could not believe it, but it worked for me. I now have a beautiful fan with a light with a dimmable feature, that looks great in the kitchen. Hope to alleviate cooking woes on those uncomfortable summer days.

Love this fan. Probably one of the best ceiling fans I’ve ever had. It is extremely quiet, well balanced and looks very sharp in our bedroom. It moves a lot of air, even on the lowest setting. It appears to be very high quality for the price. The remote works flawlessly and comes with a wall hanger which is very convenient. I highly recommend this fan.

The fan was delivered fast. I installed this in our bedroom using the shortest down rod provided in the box. The installation Instructions provided were good. Took a little under 1-1/2 hours. The fan moved lots of air at the low setting and is very quiet. No wobble. We had trouble mating the remote to the fan controller, and actually removed and reinstalled the fan controller twice making sure connections were correct and the controllers antenna was clear to accept the single from the remote. On the 3rd attempt the remote made connection to the controller. A great fan at a reasonable price, I would buy it again.
