Product Overview
The IRIS USA 33 Qt. Plastic Under Bed Storage Organizer Bin is a practical and space-saving solution designed to help you maximize unused areas in your home. Whether it’s under the bed, in a closet, or tucked away in a garage or kid’s room, this bin makes it easy to store out-of-season clothing, linens, holiday decorations, wrapping paper, or everyday essentials without sacrificing accessibility. Its clear construction allows you to see contents at a glance, so you spend less time searching and more time enjoying an organized living space. Built with durable materials and thoughtful design features, this storage bin keeps your belongings protected from dust, dirt, and moisture while remaining easy to slide in and out of tight spaces.
Key Features
- Clear View Design: Made from transparent plastic, the container lets you instantly identify stored items without opening the lid—ideal for frequently accessed seasonal goods or family supplies.
- Low-Friction Gliders: Smooth-rolling bases on the bottom enable effortless sliding in and out of narrow under-bed areas, closets, or other confined storage zones.
- Nesting Capability: When not in use, multiple bins can be nested inside one another, reducing clutter and saving valuable floor or shelf space.
- Sleek Narrow Profile: The slim, compact shape fits perfectly into tight spots—under beds, between furniture, or in small rooms—without taking up too much room.
- Secure Buckle-Up Latches: Integrated latches help keep the lid firmly closed during transport or movement, minimizing the risk of spills or accidental openings.

Benefits & Use Cases
This under-bed storage bin is ideal for renters, homeowners, students, or anyone looking to optimize underutilized spaces. Instead of letting awkward areas beneath beds go empty, you can turn them into functional storage zones that keep your home tidy and your belongings within reach. The generous 33-quart capacity accommodates bulky but infrequently used items like winter coats, extra blankets, holiday ornaments, school supplies, or even craft materials.
One of the standout advantages is the clear view design. Unlike opaque containers that require rummaging through contents just to find what you need, this bin lets you spot your shoes, towels, or seasonal décor instantly. This feature is especially helpful in shared living spaces like dorm rooms, apartments, or kids’ bedrooms where quick access matters.
The low-friction gliders make it simple to slide the bin in and out—even from deep under a bed or tight closet corners. You won’t struggle with stuck boxes or excessive force; the smooth base reduces resistance and wear over time. Plus, if you need to move heavy loads regularly (like switching out bedding seasonally), these gliders ensure consistent performance.
Another practical benefit is the ability to nest or stack multiple bins. When storing several containers, they fit neatly inside each other, reducing footprint by up to 75%. This nesting feature is particularly useful in garages, attics, basements, or closets with limited horizontal space. It also makes organizing and transporting bins easier—just carry one larger unit containing several smaller ones.
The sleek, narrow profile ensures compatibility with most standard bed frames and tight clearance areas. Whether you’re using it under a platform bed, daybed, or in a cramped bathroom, its slim design maximizes usability without compromising stability.
While primarily intended for indoor use, the durable plastic build offers some protection against moisture and light exposure, helping preserve stored items over time. However, for long-term storage of sensitive fabrics or electronics, consider placing the bin in a dry environment or adding silica gel packs to absorb excess humidity.
Important Notes
Although the IRIS USA 33 Qt. bin delivers strong functionality and reliable space optimization, some customers have reported concerns about latch durability—particularly after repeated use or rough handling. To extend the lifespan of your bin, inspect the buckle-up latches upon delivery and avoid overloading the container beyond its 33-quart capacity. Gently slide the bin rather than dragging it aggressively across floors to prevent base damage.
For best results, place the bin on a clean, dry surface before loading items inside. Avoid stacking heavy objects directly on top of the lid, as this may strain the latch mechanism. If you notice any cracks or misalignment in the lid or base, discontinue use to prevent further deterioration.
This product is available in multiple images showing various angles and configurations, including close-ups of the latch mechanism, glider base details, nested stacking setups, and real-world usage scenarios such as under-bed placement and closet organization. These visuals help confirm the bin’s dimensions, build quality, and compatibility with common household spaces.
Whether you’re decluttering a small apartment, preparing for seasonal wardrobe changes, or simply seeking smarter organization solutions, the IRIS USA Under Bed Storage Bin offers a balance of accessibility, durability, and space efficiency. While minor quality inconsistencies have been noted by certain users, its core design remains effective for everyday storage needs when handled with care.

Perfect size for Breeze xl litter box system if you DIY
I know you’re probably expecting a review for like storage use or something, but I’m someone who found out you could DIY the “Breeze Litter Box System” through a few YouTube videos… and I could NOT find the correct size/measurements to fit the XL litter box rather than the average sizes they sell. Anyways, I finally found this container and if any of you have been searching for a container to start a DIY for the XL litter box from Breeze, then I definitely recommend this bin for the XL. It doesn’t move much, if at all, especially if you have it up against a wall or in a corner. You could mess with it more if you’re unsure on that part, but it’s just fine by simply laying it right on the container. I haven’t had to reinforce it or anything. I line it w xl dog training pads so the Pine Litter I use will sift down onto them through the slits on the breeze system. Literally a money saving idea long-term. Great container size! Very sturdy, stays in place, holds my fat cats weight, and holds a lot of litter. I’m glad I can see through it so I know when to throw away the pads! You don’t need the lid 🙂

REVISED after vendor sent broken piece…Sadly, shipped to me twice; arrived broken both times
The first time I received the set of three tubs with lids, half of the black plastic handles were broken off. A small piece of black breaks off so the handle cannot be reattached. I returned for exchange and the replacement shipment had 1 handle broken … wish I could just return the broken one and get on with using the two that are fully functional. Doesn’t seem to be a way to request a refund for just the broken one.REVISED: someone else posted that the vendor IRIS took care of their broken product so I emailed them as well since exchanging through Amazon was unlikely to result in success. Within a few days, I received by mail from IRIS directly a replacement handle! Wow. These are really nice products it’s just that Amazon takes the IRIS box clearly marked FRAGILE do not drop and puts it inside a box that has no such marking. So those delivering have no idea they should treat it as if it will break. Thank you IRIS…I am a loyal customer now.

perfect for storing 12×24 sheet material
I’m using this to store 1′ x 2′ pieces of cut unfinished leather. It’s pretty much the perfect size for that, they store flat inside and it keeps them dust free and pretty well protected. This is for the 40qt size. Tough to find something that flat with those dimensions locally.

Great size for storage
Pros: great size for storage. I plan on using it as a giant sensory box for my toddler for Christmas! Most sensory bins are so small and I wanted something long and skinny he could use his cars and such in with some kinetic sand. Very sturdy.Con: missing a handle. Waiting to hear back from the company on what to do about this. Will update stars and review when I hear back. Hoping they will send me a handle or replace.

Shouldnât Cost This Much
These are great storage boxes, but there is no reason they should cost almost $100 for only 3. You can see these are cheap extruded plastic (there are burr lines and plastic pieces you can see in them from being extruded) and wonât last for many years. These should cost no more than $15 each, not almost $30 each.

nice sturdy clear totes for storage
I got these for my small 18-20 wreaths and they fit just fine. Only problem is, I only have 2 18″ and the rest are full 22-24″ wreaths. the larger wreath boxes are so big and clunky, I won’t buy them. I wish this manufacturer made them in a 24″ square box, about 7-8″ deep — that would be perfect for storing via stacking on basement shelves. Unfortunately, I went to their site and they do not make any square container larger than these. I like that these are clear, and the lids snap tightly (only because the wreaths are small). The plastic is heavy enough for my needs. The cost is high, but so is everything else these days. Delivered without damage and sooner than I expected.

Cheap handles for a costly bin
Well, I thought if I got the expensive bins, the quality would be high. Well, I was wrong. I ordered two bins which cone with two handles each. One of the four handles was broken as you can see in my photos. I started the return process but I don’t want to return the whole bin, just the one broken handle. So I hope they’ll send me one good handle so I could have four functional handles that hold the bin covers on. Each bin has two handles. I bought two bins. Other than the flimsy handles, the quality of the bins and covers appears very good.Update. We ordered a third bin and it also arrived with one broken handle too. And the shipping box was barely taped shut.I added more pictures showing another broken handle, next to the broken handle from our first purchase. So bins are great, but expect broken handles.

Saves space under the crib and from items getting dust on them, and easy to just pull a bin out instead or reaching and looking for a item

Es cara, pero no encontré otra caja que se apegará a esas dimensiones.Consideración: En la base sà mide lo que indica la descripción, sin embargo es más grande de la parte superior y eso puede ser un problema si el espacio donde se quiere acomodar es justo.
