Fantastic for kids
Our chairs were scratching the wood despite having the felt bottoms attached so I began looking for a rug. With the space it had to be a lighter rug, and with kids it had to be washable. This was not even a option for us. Most rugs I found at 8ft were incredibly expensive and out of price range. I came across this one and ordered it PRAYING it was going to work. It came a bit wrinkled but according to the instructions it was going to smooth out on its own. A few days later it lays completely flat. Itâs beautiful! I had to do the big test of what will it look like when my children knock over their cups. It repelled the water and nothing seeped through to my floor. HUGE WIN! I was able to blot off the excess water and leave it to dry with zero moisture sitting on my wood floors. It did take a little while to dry, but this didnât bother me more than it would having to remove this massive rug for every single spill. This morning I noticed there was some red hot sauce that had been dropped on the rug, I know we had not had anything like that for at least 4 days. I grabbed a wet sponge (no soap) and started rubbing the stain out effortlessly. I am SOLD! I canât imagine what it will do in the washer. An added bonus I found is the rubber backing. I didnât want a rug pad under my table for multiple reasons, mainly because of the chairs. It stays in place on its own and I love it. Itâs VERY this but so soft under foot. I got the matching 8×10 for my living room but I did get a rug pad as I want a cushioned feel for a more cozy area. I will undoubtedly be getting more when I can afford to. Over all, yes! I really wanted a ruggable or tumble rug but now Iâm wondering why I would ever pay those prices when this has been exactly what I was looking for and half the cost. This is not paid, I just really like my rug. I want to see these types of reviews before I make purchases.

Itâs a yes, for me.
As expected, itâs thin, so it can be easily thrown in the wash. The texture itself is very soft! The rubber backing keeps it in place, so itâs not sliding all over the place. Design is beautiful and classy. For the entry way itâs perfect. 10/10.

Stands up to 7 kids + pizza
Stains come out pretty easily with stain spray (we use OxiClean Max Force laundry stain remover) and a wet rag. We had three-day-old pizza stains on this white rug and it all came out effortlessly except for one area which probably needs to just sit with some spray on it.Iâm still having the fold lines even after a month, so I bought some double sided rug tape to see if securing it down would help. We have a large, heavy wooden table and I notice that the fabric can bunch up if we slide it. Itâs also challenging to slide the bench and chairs, but, again, maybe tape would solve that.Itâs surprisingly soft (think like the lining of a skiing jacket).We typically put a rug pad under our rugs, but skipped it with this one in case the waterproof backing didnât hold up.We havenât tried washing it because Iâm having great success with just spot cleaning it.Itâs the middle of winter and we have a ton of muddy boots clomping on it and, oddly, there arenât any stains or discoloration from that.When vacuuming, I have to set my vacuum to the highest setting even though itâs very low pile. Maybe the carpet tape would fix this, too, but I read another review that said that the rug can separate from the backing and now Iâm paranoid about that happening. But! Since itâs so low pile, nothing gets stuck in it, which is a win since itâs under our kitchen table.One of my kids tipped over his entire water glass and, I wish I had taken a picture of this, the whole thing pooled on top of the rug and the droplets beaded up. It didnât soak in at ALL and the fabric seemed almost hydrophobic so it was easy to clean up. Maybe thatâs why mud doesnât stain it? Hmm.The light color looks fantastic in our house. I had a design guy tell us that if you have dark floors and a dark table that you should have a light rug to make the table âpopâ and this rug sure does the trick. My friends think Iâm crazy for having a light colored rug with kids, but so far, I’m impressed and would recommend.

Pretty, but youâll need to buy better pads for nonslip
It still slips around on the floor very easily despite the sticky pad they put underneath. It is very pretty and holds up well being washed and dried often. Very soft, no weird smell, and otherwise serves its purpose. Happy with the price point for this rug.

Was funny to get a rug in a box. The rug is great and eazy to vacuum. The only thing I think is sell needs to push an pad for rug.To me its color is good but to light.but what do I know.the WIFE loves it.

Not soft at all.
Itâs very thin and thatâs okay as I didnât want a thick rug but itâs a little abrasive when touching with bare skin. Donât let babies or toddlers crawl on it – they will get rug burns. Iâve had the rug down for five days now and the wrinkles have not all come out. I noticed the corners are not square and probably contributes to the continuous wrinkles. The only good thing is that the color is true to the picture.
