First things you should know: You have to remove your original internal deadbolt.I had so many more issues with this set up, I am too drained to get to it all(Do not be fooled. This is not a user ERROR)There are no words that can describe how mad I am. I have sat here for more than 4 hours trying to set up this faulty system. First things first, the item fits on my door perfectly fine. But I am going to say this one time, please reread if you don’t understand. To lock my door, the knob has to be switched to the right internally, and the door will be locked. To unlock my door, the knob has to be switched to the left internally. This system is permanently designed the exact opposite, and there is NO universal way to make it right. This system is designed so that to lock the door, the internal knob should be twisted to the left, and to unlock the door, the internal knob has to be twisted to the right.After trying for 2 hours with this product that is supposed to be simple, I hired a locksmith, and he said the same thing – this is a faulty item and is not designed for any door that isn’t set up for a left-side deadbolt. If your door’s deadbolt is on the right internally, this product will not work. This was a complete waste of 4 hours. I bought this product to replace my perfectly fine insta-lock. The only reason I purchased this item is because it had a keypad, and I wanted to use it for my Airbnb.Again, words cannot even describe or make up for the time I have wasted today. Do not believe any of the reviews on this profile. There is no absolute way. I could cry due to the amount of time I have wasted on this item. I install so many locks, so there is no way it should have taken that long. I am so over it.

Worth the money?
Instructions are the worst, if your door is hinged from the inside right then.much easier install. Software buggy but gets job done. If your looking for a great deal this is it. Once up and going not bad product. My door is left hinged it was a pain to get it to work…UpdateI emailed them about a software glitch and no response dropped to 2 stars i would not recommend this lock.

Really like this lock
First, I have had this lock installed for a year. It is my second smart lock at this location. After getting the install done correctly it works better than my previous lock from a different manufacturer. I took off a star for two reasons. 1) I had the wrong door swing direction issue others have complained about, but after contacting customer service and sending video and photos they explained how to calibrate for that issue and problem was fixed quickly. Customer service was very responsive and I was impressed. 2) I have had the key pad lose pairing with the lock three times during the year I have had this lock, but each time, once I realized what happened it is easy to re -pair the connection. I, however, then have to reenter passkeys and finger prints. I have learned to keep the key on my key ring just in case I need to manually need to lock or unlock without keypad. BTW since this lock used my existing deadbolt, the old original key still works. Additionally, I replaced the old deadbolt a few months back and the smart lock slipped right in and did not miss a beat.I do not care for the autolock / unlock feature. It works most of the time but I prefer to do my own locking and I’m locking. I find the app to be pretty straight forward with very little clutter. That said, getting to some of the settings is not as intuitive as it could be. It works well with my Alexa and I am always able to tell the status of the door and lock (open/closed, locked/unlocked, jammed, or ajar.I would buy again.

Worked great for 3 days…
Worked great for 3 days, then it would try and lock or unlock but wouldn’t, nope…I charged it and followed all troubleshooting. They are sending me a replacement, so we will see. Otherwise, it’s a great lock, the app is very easy to navigate and has many options. A lot of people claim the lock is difficult to install but it’s not at all.

Ordered on line, delivered and arrived as expected. Well packed when received indeed.Good product from Jokiro. This is my 2nd smart lock from Jokiro, The last one no fingerprint , but using code already bring in a lot of convenience, without worry about forget the key already! Cann’t wait to replace my another manual lock with this new model which is fingerprint capable!Just to update(Sept 4, 2023):this lock the installation is so easy, it is incredibly easy, all I did is just remove the previous lock inside cover, and replace with this lock from the inside! Specially meet my needs that no need to change the front side and can keep the front door looks the same as before from outside! see attached the new photos.we had this lock in operation for a few weeks now! so great with the fingerprint capability! it makes the daily life so convenience when leave and arrive at home. More ever, it is so great no need to worry about the kids will need to bring or lost the key anymore!!
