Get a board…how long? IDK?!
Hey, nice door nice price…….. confusing instructions (always a trade off eh?), and you will need a large board to hang on the wall to secure on a plaster wall (to mount to studs and clear the trim). It said the board had to be like 8ft long for our 60 inch rail…..and look we didn’t have that room, it was meant for a small hall space. We mounted it to as many studs with as many screws as we could, but like……it would have been REALLY nice to mention that they wanted a very long board before purchasing it, as yeah….it seems incredibly unreasonable. Hopefully it holds ð. All that being said, Even if we had known what we know now…..I think we would have risked it gotten it. The details are nice but subtle, and I think could match a lot of different home styles without sticking out like a sore thumb, and even though it’s ‘barnyard’ rails it’s doesn’t scream like barn door.

Door is beautiful, but instructions were wrong.
Door is beautiful. The pieces for the top and bottom were wrong on the instructions manual. Had to flip them and ending up chipping a small piece of the top of the door in the process. Handle for the inside is poorly placed. You cannot reach handle on the inside very well with door shut all the way as the trim work is vlocking the handle. I’m going to have to attach a small handle on the inside that will not affect the sliding of the door. Overall door is beautiful, just think there could be some improvement with instructions and inside handle placement.
