I was leery in purchasing the Christopher Knight Home Juliana Fabric Storage Ottoman, Beige. After all, ordering furniture online is a gamble and quality is usually pretty dreadful.This is the exception.It is broad and sturdy and each and every seam and pleat- those being the telltale areas that show shoddy construction- are perfect. It looks higher end than it is and the only difference is that it is physically a lighter weight and the material a neutral instead of a pattern. I placed this larger option at the end of my antique full bed to store shoes and it looks substantial and perfectly at home in a room full of elegant old pieces. Itâs plush styling with the slightly rustic woven canvas fabric allows it the fit in seamlessly with several contemporary styles, so I think that any buyer will be pleased.Iâll likely switch out the modern trapezoidal legs for something more traditional, but note that even those a made so that the slant inwards, sparing unwary pinky toes.It was shipped in a strong box with extra attention to detail, like putting a cardboard strip at the closing seam to protect the piece against smudges, tape residue, or the inadvertent slip of a blade when unboxing. Inside, it was wrapped in a sewn fabric cover that closed with a draw string. No plastic garbage bags here!Honestly, Iâm so impressed that Iâm going to be taking a second look at the more substantial Christopher Knight pieces. If every part of this one ottoman was so carefully considered I have confidence that all are likely the best possible choices that Iâll be able to make on a tight budget.

I bought this for my elderly mother for her birthday. She had a wooden hope chest in which she stored blankets at the end of her bed, but she and my father always bumped their shins on it. So, obviously, time to replace it! I looked at other big name online stores, but this was least expensive for what looked like the same product. I wasn’t looking for cheap, I wanted quality, but why not get the best price. I was skeptical, but it is very nicely made. Easy to install, just add the legs. I got the beige, and it is a light, crisp beige, not creamy or muddy looking. It looks clean, no marks on the fabric. Stitching is done well. My mother likes the height, she can sit on it and put her shoes on easily (lower to the floor than a chair). It was the perfect birthday present. Very happy with my purchase.

The fabric is NOT linen it is more like muslin. It doesn’t fit evenly or correctly over the piece but it is not that noticeable. There was no off gassing at all. Nice piece with good storage. The legs are shaped a bit oddly but you don’t really notice. Worth it for the price. Nice color and very comfortable and sturdy.

its beige in color light but not exactly white, which is good for me. Its comfy for the time you need to sit on it and sturdy enough to two people of 180 lbs to sit on. Its very roomy inside and opens easy, you only have to put the legs on it. Its very classic elegant designed. There is NO BAD SMELL. Someone wrote a review that said it smelt bad but thats a lie, it just smells like new thats all it smell like new clothing in a store, I like it. At least it doesn’t smell old or moldy. I am very happy with the color, the size the usefulness of it . It holds all my handbags that were just laying around all over taking up space, now my hall looks lovely and I can sit on it and put my shoes on by the door. Love it! Sorry no pics my Ipad is new just learning how to put things on cloud.

I was impressed with the quality of fabric, and it is built well. I was not expecting it to look as nice as it does. The legs go on easily, be careful to not twist them too tight or you can tear the lining on bottom of ottoman. the plus is the storage inside the ottoman. I would love to buy another one, as they look well against a wall, or middle of living room. It slides easily if you need to push it away with your legs or feet, but sturdy and heavy enough that it does not move away from you when in use. I love this.
