    Very good, but not quite perfect
    This is a really good air fryer. But to call it an air fryer does it great injustice, because it is so much more.This is a wonderful toaster oven. It’s a great countertop oven when used with or without an included rotisserie. A broiler? You bet. Whether you are doing steaks, fish, or doing anything else that requires a broiler, this oven does it well.It’s a convection oven. I love making biscotti, which means “twice baked.” And unlike making biscotti in an oven which requires turning over each individual cookie during the baking process, when used as a convection oven, biscotti becomes “scotti,” because both sides are cooked evenly at the same time.Ok. I love this air fryer with the French doors that resembles the one pitched on television by a celebrity chef. Bam! But there is room for improvement. The things that could use improvement are few in number and frankly, removing a ⭐ because of them would feel petty. So what are they?1. If you take your hand off the door handle before the doors have fully opened, those doors slam shut with a vengeance. Damping the speed at which the doors slam shut would be a big help.2. When toasting or baking or roasting food, the items at the back of the oven cook more slowly than those in the middle and front of the oven. If you are baking a chicken or beef roast surrounded by veggies, the veggies in the front of the oven will burn before the ones in the back are finished. The fan functions well, but the back of the oven is cooler than the front. For instance, potato wedges in the front will be golden brown while those in the back will still be white and crunchy. Bagels? Same thing. The bagels in front will be very dark before the ones in the rear begin to show any color at all.3. There is no 3. Just those two items. And if you are aware of #2 you can keep It from happening pretty easily by repositioning the food as it cooks.Would I buy this again? In a heartbeat. I love this air fryer. I suspect you will too.

    Kitchen must have
    This air fryer has become my favorite kitchen appliance. It’s large enough to cook enough food for my family but compact enough to not take up my whole kitchen counter. The buttons and dials are easy to see and use, the auto shut off is amazing, and it will cook the best steak ever quicker than I could order from any steakhouse around. This air fryer has so many functions to choose from. It’s an air fryer, grill, dehydrator, oven, and more. Clean up is so easy.

    Best airfryer- delicious, great customer service
    I live my Kalorik airfryer, hands down the best airfryer i think is on the market. It does reach high temp, has a huge tray for food. I only cook on 500 degrees, preheat for 13 min, put steak in with some carrots for 18min, if i have a lot of vegi i will take steak out and leave vegi in for another 5min at 500degrees. No need to flip steak, just salt, herb, garlic, oliveoil one side, the bottom aide will be convection seared, it wont lose blood/juice. Steak can be 1-3 inches thick. Very easy to clean, i recommend just using the stainless steel wire tray, easier to clean and more convection heat surface area contact for the steak. Chicken works the same.I have purchased two of these, the first stopped working at 10months, i was sent a replacement with no hassel. I hope these are never discontinued!! Im big into cooking, im from an Italian and south american cooking/meat cooking bloodline lineage, cooks very well! very focused on my health, this mimics evolutionary cooking as the fat drips off the steak like it does over a fire, instead of lightfrying in a pan and saturating the steak. Allows protein to fat ratio to be very scientifically refined for optimal ratio intake. Also avoids the toxicity from overheating fat/oil in a pan light fry. Has played a big keystone role in my health journey, which has included losing 70lbs from 260lb at 6’2” to 190lb, now up 195lbs as body fat continues to drop and muscle build, with other factors included like no sugar, carbs, weighted vest walking with sunlight exposure for circadian rythms and vitamin D activation, key ingredient for hormone production. Highly recommend this product, keystone item in health lifestyle.

    Did an amazing job for 4 years, but impossible to keep clean
    On cooking -It does what it says it does. I didn’t use the rotisserie function ever, but we used this instead of our oven for just about everything. I do a lot of sous vide and use this to finish things off. It does an excellent job. My only complaints with cooking are- You can only get the higher temperature by switching to the steak setting, otherwise it caps at 450. A minor thing, but that’s fine.- There are no seals around the doors, and they aren’t recessed, so it does not trap in heat efficiently. On the cooking front you have to turn things around to get them to cook evenly, otherwise anything in the back gets more heat than anything in the front. Because the fan spins in a single direction, one corner will also be more cooked than the other. I imagine this also makes it far less energy efficient.On cleanliness -Because the glass doors extend to the bottom and aren’t recessed at all, any grease spray runs down the doors and underneath the air fryer. Oil will also run down the metal sides and out the front, pooling around the feet of the air fryer.As long as you are able to clean it every week, it’s great. But the drip tray was of very poor quality, and was ruined after six months of use. We did our best to clean it regularly, once per week, but occasionally, we wouldn’t have time to clean it and it would get a little bit worse. Once something’s burned on, it’s hard to get off without scratching away the coating. This is what happened to the drip tray – Something would burn to it, and we would strip a little of the finish off to get it clean. Then something would burn more – Rinse and repeat until we couldn’t get anything off of it.Overall -I definitely got my money’s worth out of it, but at this point the labor required to keep it clean is far more than it’s worth, so we’ll be throwing it out and looking for a model with better designs like recessed doors and things of that nature.

    We love our Kalorik MAXX air fryer. Our daughter took our first one to university and we promptly bought another to have in our home. It is a little bit bigger than an average air fryer, so it will take up a bit more counter space. It’s big enough that you probably don’t want to always be putting it away (out of sight) somewhere, but you could if you wanted to. We use it all of the time so we leave it out. It’s great for cooking and super convenient for warming things up (you don’t have to wait at all like you would if you were pre-heating a traditional oven). It’s French-door design, I believe, is more practical than other designs.While I think it’s interior is more spacious than most other models of air fryer we considered, it can still be limiting. For example, if we are doing chicken wings or French fries (for example) for our family of five, we do have to do them in batches. For single people, or couples, I am convinced you’d use it more than a traditional oven.When using it to cook, you do often get a lot of splatter on the interior walls. Some good advice would be to clean the interior after each use and if possible when the air fryer is still warm. Residue will come off much easier than if you leave it or let it build up for many uses.

    I just got this air fryer and I’ll say I’m very impressed. The setup took 10 minutes to wash the parts, dry, and then plug it in and ready to go. It does require about 20 minutes “burn-in” to clean the inside on the steak setting, but the instructions were very clear as to what to do.This Air Fryer worked exceptionally well I baked trout and air fried brussels sprouts that came out so good my kids cleaned their plates!The fish setting had the ideal timing. The trout was cooked perfectly, it was cooked through but very moist and flavourful.. it’s easy to overcook fish so this was a welcome surprise as it didn’t require the normal attention to make sure the fish isn’t dry, just turn it on and go do something else until it’s done.For the Brussels sprouts I used the air fry setting and a little olive oil and the sprouts came out perfectly caramelized they were light, with much less oil than sauteeing, yet had great flavour. Again this was a set it and forget it scenario.All the parts came out of the machine easily and washed off perfectly no fuss or mess it was easier than using a pan.The only part I would warn about is that the glass doors and metal shielding get very hot. Make sure to keep little hands or big hands away from it. It is very clearly labeled where the hot parts are but kids and many adults don’t read labels so be aware of that.
