Great coffee maker
Bought this to replace one that started leaking. Like that it lets you know when coffee is done and when it is shutting off, after 2 hours. It does a great job of keeping the coffee hot. Adding water is a little awkward but just a minor drawback.

Good coffee maker.
We like the size and appearance of this coffee maker. The carafe is easy to clean and drips less when pouring coffee than any other I have used. The only negative is the tone/beep that sounds of when the brew is complete is terrifically loud. I am certain the neighbors can hear it and it sends the dogs looking for cover. Other than the terrifying beep itâs a great coffee maker.

Too much technology!
The size is great. There are some things that are less than optimal. Most annoying to me are the very LOUD beeps that signal everything: the coffee pot is on BEEP! The coffee pot is brewing BEEP! The coffee is ready BEEP, BEEP, BEEP! There is no way to silence it. Imagine if some people are earlier risersâ¦once you start making coffee, EVERYONE must be up! BEEP!!! Iâd also prefer not to keep the coffee pot CLOCK on all the time, just to display the time which my stove and microwave already do. Because it too will BEEP as soon as you plug the pot in.Iâve yet to try the special 1-4 cup setting, or the programmable or auto-on settings.All I really wanted was a simple coffee pot that was NOT black plastic! (It is gray, so checked that box.)If I could disable the clock and silence the beeping, Iâd be happy.Itâs pretty expensive to be this annoying.

Dont buy!
There are so mamy things about this coffeemaker to complain about! 1. the water fill opening is too small to pour the water in, 2. It makes a mess of the counter and the coffeemaker itself when it brews, and 3. The spout in the carafe is designed so that when pouring coffee in the cup, it drips all over the counter and not just 1 or 2 drops.I have purchased coffeemakers my whole life and NEVER had one so poorly designed. I purchased it because Kenmore has always had a good reputation making appliances, but maybe they should just stick with large ones.

Good coffee
I like the coffee, and the fact that it uses a water filter and is programmable. It’s also pretty quiet except for the very loud, high pitched 5 beeps at the end. I could really do without that!
