Very nice coffee maker
I got this to replace my old Keurig that died after 15 years! I really like the features on here: 1) big water reservoir, with a replaceable filter. 2) lots more cup size choices. I don’t do iced coffee but I like that there is a button for that (not sure what it does different? you’re still brewing hot coffee, just into a cup full of ice. Maybe it adjusts for less room in the cup due to the ice?). I also didn’t know, but like, that it has a removable filter that mounts in the water tank. You get one filter with the unit which it says lasts 2 months. You can get them online here for a reasonable price. they look like little woven pods, and they contain charcoal. But I like the idea of filtering the water BEFORE it gets inside the coffee maker–hopefully that makes it last longer without accumulating crud on it’s insides. The one feature I didn’t fully understand was hot water on demand. Just press the button and get plain hot water right away. Great for tea, etc. Well, I tried it and it does not come out through a separate tube, so if you’ve left a K-cup in the unit, you will get watered down coffee. But now that I’ve adjusted for that, I like it–in addition to making tea, it’s great for fixing a bowl of instant oatmeal quickly, and it makes it hot but not too hot to eat.Overall, very nice. Hope it lasts a long time like my last one.

Terrific coffeemaker
When my much cheaper Keurig gave out after only a month (!) I decided to go with something more reliable and substantial. I chose the Keurig Elite and itâs worth every penny and then some.First of all, the color. The Brushed Gold is stunning and it stands out from the sea of black and gray units. The shade isnât at all cheap looking or garish. Itâs understated and elegant, adding a beautiful touch to my kitchen. As for the coffeemaker itself: Itâs very simple to operate (straightforward instructions are included of course) and you donât need a degree in physics to make a cup of coffee. There are 5 cup sizes to choose from, all the way from a tiny cup to a travel mug. Thereâs also a STRONG button for more robust-tasting coffee. I love this feature since I prefer drinking COFFEE and not watered down liquid. Although I never drink iced coffee this machine includes the iced coffee option with simple instructions. The drip tray is a cinch to remove and clean as well and there are lights that illuminate when the water level is low or itâs time to descale. The water reservoir is generous but thereâs only one negative thing about it-you canât see the water level from the front, only from the side. But this is really a minor issue for me. This machine has a clock and it furnishes just hot water for tea or soups with just the press of a button. No more boiling water on the stove. You can program a timer on this unit as well. I never use this feature but itâs there just in case. Another nice feature is that itâs relatively lightweight even with a full water reservoir. You donât need a crane to lift it for cleaning or moving. And lastly- the unit accepts not only the standard Kcups but also the reusable pods that you fill yourself. (I use the metal pods, not those plastic mesh things). Whether you use a standard pod or a reusable one this Keurig delivers a perfect cup of coffee every time.I am thrilled with the Elite Keurig and highly recommend it.

Stronger Coffee from a Keurig!
A common complaint in my household about the Keurig is that the coffee is pretty weak. This model has a “Strong” button which I assume heats the water a bit more. Common consensus is that the coffee does indeed come out a bit stronger. Nice! Also, there are 5 settings on this model for cup sizes whereas on other models it is generally three. This is quite helpful as mugs come in so many different sizes it keeps you from over or underfilling your mugs. Great idea!

The Keurig K-Elite â A Worthy Successor to a Coffee Pioneer
In 2005, I brought home my very first Keurig, the B100, and let me tell youâit was a game-changer. Back then, in a world dominated by clunky coffee pots and mediocre instant granules, Keurig promised “Your coffee, your way, in under a minute.” And wow, did it deliver. That little machine revolutionized mornings for me and countless others. But all good things eventually come to an end. Itâs time to say goodbye to my faithful B100. She holds a special place in coffee historyâand in my heartâbut the Keurig K-Elite is here to take her place. And honestly, I think Iâm falling in love all over again.Modern Elegance Meets Unparalleled VersatilityThe K-Elite is a sleek, polished beauty that blends seamlessly into my dream coffee bar. Its brushed metal finish screams sophistication, while the intuitive interface makes it easy to use. This machine isnât just an upgrade; itâs a coffee powerhouse.Unlike my original B100, which brewed a solid cup of coffee, the K-Elite is all about options. Want bold coffee? You got it. Prefer iced coffee? Done. Craving a steaming hot brew? Adjust the temperature. Itâs like having a personal barista who actually listens. Why Iâm SmittenSpeed & Efficiency: Just like the original Keurig, the K-Elite gets the job done fast. In under a minute, my cup is readyâperfect for chaotic mornings.Customizable Brews: The strength control and temperature settings make it easy to craft your perfect cup.Iced Coffee Button: Yes, you read that right. It brews over ice without diluting the flavor, and now I can pretend Iâm fancy even on hot days.Quiet Brew Technology: No more startling the household with that loud âka-chunkâ sound! This machine hums smoothly.A Nostalgic Nod to My First KeurigLet me be clear: my first Keurig will always be the machine that started it all. It was the pioneer of pod coffee, delivering single-serve simplicity in a time when such a thing felt like magic. It gave me years of reliable service and helped transform the way I enjoy coffee. But, like any proud parent, I know itâs time to let her rest. The K-Elite carries on that legacy with style and substance, and I canât help but think my trusty B100 would approve.Final ThoughtsThe Keurig K-Elite is more than just a coffee makerâitâs the next chapter in my coffee story. While Iâll always hold a special place in my heart for my original Keurig, the K-Elite has already proven itself as a worthy successor. Itâs a modern marvel, a joy to use, and a central piece of my dream coffee bar.Hereâs to new memories, new mornings, and coffee that feels just right. Cheers to the K-Eliteâand to the B100 for starting it all. ââ¨

There are some nice features to this model that we enjoy. We like the Strong button with a 10oz cup for a bolder brew. The coffee seems to be hotter than our previous Keurig 2 model. There is an option to adjust the temperature of the water but we like it at the highest setting which is 192F. Nice selection of cup options i.e.. I like a clear Hot Water Button as I often have tea in the afternoons. The Elite is a nice looking unit and it is easy to use. A convenient feature is that you can program the start and auto off times. So far I am pretty happy with this machine.
