Extreme disapointment
We purchased this lock and after much hassle and poor instructions, installed it. We put our fingerprints in and they worked nicely – for a week. After leaving for a week vacation, the fingerprints had to be deleted and re-inserted. Once again, they no longer work. It’s as if the lock “forgets” and must be reminded. The numerical code still works fine but this is no help when you have a groceries in your arms. Also, it is supposed to lock automatically after entering or exiting . WRONG – it locks itself when and if it so chooses. The door lock cannot be locked from the outside without a key. Now the babysitter needs her own key and it only came with two. It is too late to be returned, so I have to purchase another lock. Total waste of money and effort!!
