With real-time notifications, detailed activity logs, and seamless integration into smart home ecosystems, it transforms how you interact with your front door—offering both security and flexibility.
Key Features
- Multiple Unlock Methods: Enjoy six distinct ways to unlock your door: fingerprint scan for quick personal access, numeric passcode for guests or shared users, smartphone app control for remote management, included key fob for backup access, traditional physical key as a fail-safe, and voice activation via Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant once connected to Wi-Fi. This multi-modal approach ensures you’ll never be locked out due to technical issues or forgotten credentials.
- Wi-Fi Gateway Integration: The included Tuya-compatible Wi-Fi gateway enables true remote connectivity, allowing you to lock or unlock your door from anywhere with an internet connection. It operates exclusively on 2.4 GHz networks and provides stable communication within a 30-foot radius between the lock, gateway, and router. This setup eliminates Bluetooth limitations and supports simultaneous user access without conflicts.
- App-Based Remote Control: Through the NICE DIGI App, you can remotely generate, modify, or revoke access codes at any time—ideal for granting temporary entry to guests, cleaning services, or tenants. You can also schedule auto-lock times, receive instant push notifications whenever the door is unlocked (including by whom), review real-time access logs, and monitor battery levels to avoid unexpected shutdowns.
- Voice Assistant Compatibility: Once paired with your home Wi-Fi network, the lock works effortlessly with popular voice assistants like Alexa and Google Assistant. Simply say commands such as “Alexa, unlock the front door” to operate the lock hands-free—perfect for when your hands are full or during late-night arrivals.
- User-Friendly Design: The illuminated keypad glows softly in low-light conditions, ensuring visibility and usability even after dark. The mute function allows silent locking via the app, making it ideal for quiet environments or late-hour departures. Additionally, the auto-lock feature enhances security by automatically engaging the deadbolt after a set period unless manually overridden.
- Multi-User Management: Designed for shared living spaces, the system supports up to 100 unique user codes, including fingerprints. Administrators can assign different permissions, track individual access history, and revoke access instantly—making it especially valuable for rental property managers, co-living setups, or households with frequent visitors.

Benefits & Use Cases
This smart deadbolt is particularly well-suited for urban professionals, families, and property managers seeking enhanced security without sacrificing convenience. Its multi-user support makes it ideal for short-term rentals, where landlords need to issue time-limited codes to guests while retaining full oversight of entry points. Real-time alerts notify you immediately when someone uses a code, enters via fingerprint, or physically inserts a key—great for monitoring children coming home from school or verifying that housekeepers have arrived. The inclusion of both digital and mechanical keys guarantees access continuity during power failures or app connectivity disruptions.
For busy individuals who frequently misplace keys or forget to lock up, the automatic locking feature adds an essential layer of protection. Meanwhile, the ability to remotely grant or cancel access means you don’t have to rush home to let in a plumber or neighbor. The quiet operation ensures no disruptive beeping at inconvenient hours, and the backlit keypad simplifies nighttime entry without fumbling for light switches.
Installation is straightforward with standard mounting hardware included, and the universal design accommodates most residential doors regardless of swing direction. With lifetime app access, a 1-year product warranty, and ongoing customer support, the Kucacci Smart Deadbolt offers long-term reliability and peace of mind.
Important Notes
The Wi-Fi gateway requires a stable 2.4 GHz network and cannot function on 5 GHz frequencies. Ensure your router is within approximately 30 feet of both the lock and gateway for optimal signal strength—metal barriers or thick walls may reduce range. While Bluetooth is not used for primary communication, the system avoids common connectivity conflicts associated with Bluetooth-only locks. Installation should be performed by an adult with basic DIY experience; detailed instructions and all necessary screws and anchors are provided. The package includes one smart lock unit, one Wi-Fi gateway, two physical keys, one key fob, mounting hardware, and setup guides. Battery life depends on usage patterns and environmental factors. For technical assistance, warranty claims, or troubleshooting, contact customer support under the 1-year coverage policy.

Multifunctional smart door lock
I am a frequent customer of Amazon. Today I ordered a set of keypad smart deadbolt. I received it on the same day. I was shocked when I opened it. This smart door lock also has multi-functions such as Wi-Fi connection, voice control, and remote control. It is really easy to use and convenient. I highly recommend it to everyone.

Here is the skinny
Works as advertised locks and unlocks with ease.Fingerprint, keypad code, tap card, and app lock and unlock work just fine.Works with Alexa and Google too.The build quality seems quite solid. I like the dark finish. Also most to all of it is made out of metal. It has some cool features. I also like how I can program it to auto lock.Dislikes come more from the information the app gives. It shows all the logs for unlocking and system changes but it doesnât show locking or when the physical key is used. There is no alert when the doe gets open or closed.

Nice Upgrade to Old Deadbolt Lock
I had an old traditional keyed Kwikset deadbolt lock on my backdoor that needed replacing so I upgraded to something significantly “smarter” with this model. I like that it has a variety of ways to utilize the lock (keys, fobs, fingerprints, numeric codes) as that provides flexibility for day-to-day use as well as one-time circumstances or if you have extended-stay guests. The installation was fairly straightforward and the instructions provided multiple ‘how-to’ videos via QR code to supplement the text directions. It was a drop-fit into the openings created for the Kwikset many years ago except for the door jamb, I had to modify it so that the new lock’s bolt could go in far enough to register as “locked” and not auto-retract thinking it was jammed. Both the interior and exterior portions have a thick gasket seal that makes it weatherproof once the halves are securely joined together. It’s powered by 4 AA alkaline batteries and setting it up in the NICE DIGI app is easy on your smartphone once you connect it via Bluetooth. I particularly like the flexibility of setting up users with multiple fingerprints for thumb and index fingers on the left and right hands so you don’t have to juggle stuff and can easily access it when carrying things. The fingerprint sensor is smaller than others and you do have to hit it just right for it to read correctly but it does allow multiple attempts before it locks you out. You also have the option of setting numeric passcodes or assigning key fobs (2 provided) to users as well. The only thing I wasn’t able to activate was the Alexa functionality via the provided mesh Gateway. It relies on the Smart Home skill in Alexa and I already have that assigned to another device/app combination from a different manufacturer, so I couldn’t use it with this lock to test it out. That’s not a dealbreaker for me as I don’t have much need for voice control of a door lock but it could be a stumbling point for others to watch out for. The gateway still allows for remote locking/unlocking via WiFi though and worked like a charm when I tested it out from my street and driveway beyond the 30-ft limit of Bluetooth connectivity. The gateway relies on a micro-USB/USB-A power cord and doesn’t come with a converter brick for use in a standard outlet, so you must provide your own if you don’t have a suitable way to plug it in. It’s a very capable lock for the price and a substantial upgrade from what I had before.

The manual also on the kucacci web site is poor at best.
The lock works no questions about that also the gateway works.Main reason for that is I have played with a lot of locks over the last few years.Kucacci claims that this lock works on Tuya, they even mention that in the manual, well i have or can’t figure it out. These things should work a lot better, and should be documented.

great door lock once you have it set up.
Decided to upgrade and get one of these locks. 4 ways to access your home? why not.Physical installation was easy. I removed the old deadbolt and installed this within 5min. At this point, I can use the provided keys. Here’s where the “it’s my first time doing this” kicked in. It took me about 2-3 days of messing with this thing after work to get it set up right.I started with the Nice Digi app. I could connect to the gateway, but it would fail when trying to detect the network connection status. This is while it is plugged in next to my router. Once I changed to the Smart Life app, I was eventually able to see a good connection. Now, I can’t find the lock when searching for it.I can’t count how many times I tried resetting the lock itself. It’s working fine, I just couldn’t connect to it.On the third day, after reading up, trying to find videos to explain everything, I finally figured it out. It was so simple. While searching for the lock, you have to wake it up. After pressing the number pad to wake it up, I was able to connect to it. Biggest relief ever, I was about to 1-star it for wasting all this time. After connecting the lock to the app, all the other set-up with users, pins, fingerprints were pretty straight forward.Everything is working how it should.Sidenote, I thought we were past charging a fee for text messages or phone calls whenever someone lock/unlocks. Luckily the app has a built-in log that tracks that and also push notification.Overall, I am happy with the door lock. More family members can have access without me giving them a spare key. If I lose mine, I can still get in with my phone, a pin, or fingerprint. I’ll probably look back and wonder why it took me so long to get one of these.I would definitely recommend.

Smart lock
This smart lock comes with a lot of directions, so follow them very carefully. The app that they give you is easy to use and set up. Also, when installing the product it is easy to do they match just what the directions say to do. The lock function works great. You can either use your thumb, keypad or a key. The look of it is great so far when you use it, you canât tell where you press the numbers on it, which is great.
